Took my kids to try out some trout fishing. I wasnt too hopeful upon initially seeing the creek, it was low and super clear. However, we found several trout and managed to catch one. Also caught several sunfish. The park is well maintained and there is a lot of shady areas. Nice place to bring the family, will definitely come back!

I love walking in that park. I have to use a walker but they have a mile long walking trail with lots of shade, running beside a creek. Its beautiful. The creek had spots for fishing, swimming, and wading.. the restrooms are clean and the whole park is well kept everyone Ive gone. We had a birthday party there last weekend. Several picnic tables spaced quite a distance apart, and 3 covered picnic shelters..

With the last year or two Morse park has made a lot of changes. Bike trail, clearing of brush around the creeks water fronts, solar lighting on the walking paths. Neosho park service is doing a great job pulling more of the community to this park!

Our walking club uses the parking lot as our starting point for our Neosho walk. It is relaxing walking the paved trail next to the water. We branch off from there to walking in the business area and back. What a work out.

There are trails you can follow up into the woods with nice natural scenery. Also good views of Neosho in Fall and Winter. Also the creek is nice. Skatepark off to the side. Running/biking trails. A few playground areas with slides and swings and such. Fishing and camping opportunities. Its all nice.

Such an incredibly beautiful and well kept park. The creek that flows though, hickory creek, is perfect for swimming in many areas.I would recommend wearing swimming shoes when swimming, there is flooding in Neosho at times which brings debris and whatnot into the creek.Otherwise it is perfect. Nice if you have kayaks or a canoe as well. Kayaks may be better as the river is relatively low in some places.

So much potential for this park it really is disappointing, I will give them credit for keeping up with mowing... I wish the city would allow me the opportunity to show them how to make this an amazing park, it would not be hard to go far as to say they could be profiting off of it as well... It is also against the mo Dept of conservation to be wading in hickory Creek with pores shoes FYI because I know it not publicized like it should

Had our family reunion at the Lampo bldg. A event we do every two years. We like using the bldg its air conditioned for the older members of the family and plenty of room outside for the little ones. The bldg comes with ice machine for drinks, a large refrigerator to keep suff cool, and a stove that you can warm or cook food in or on.
