Beautiful! Lots of trails, not too crowded either. My only complaint is that you can hear the highway in the distance, but other than that it is beautiful!

If you take the blue heron trail it feels like youre out on a great escape at the woods; Deep woods, marshes, boardwalks... but youre still inside 95!if you just want a shorter walk, the 30m stroll around Kendrick pond is always beatiful and a different experience every month of the year.

We didnt know about this place until today! This is a less known gem in the Boston area. Nice long boardwalks across wet areas with tall grass, paths in the forest, there is even a small bike stunt area in the middle of a forest. Beautiful fall colors. Some paths are under high power lines and along a railroad but it adds to the variety.

If you have a lot of time, the Blue Heron trail is a healthy walk of almost 10 miles. But the most interesting part of it runs from the small lot on Needham Street and the large lot on Kendrick Street. If you have two cars, this is a great way to do a one-way hike that traverses over boardwalks through the marsh, runs along a pretty stretch of the Charles and ends by going around Kendrick Pond. Its always fun to check out the graffiti in the tunnel under the railroad. You can catch some good views of Millennium Park although it is a long walk if you want to walk all the way around to it unless you are the more adventurous type and you take the shortcut over the railroad bridge.

No dogs were leashed and some even with multiple dogs running around. Poor markings but thanks to the app i use for making it easier...

Cutler park is fantastic. Beautiful Pond, where you can boat (non motor) and fish. There are usually geese. The parking lot is small, but there are almost always open spots. There is a nice hiking trail around the lake.

Absolutely loved this walk. Starting out you have a nice view of the res, and then as you get further in the forest is beautiful. Quiet, serene, tall trees on a wide path. It has a magical feeling too it. The path was lightly trafficked and an easy walk.

Had a wonderful time walking the trails at Cutler Park with my son. Easy walk, beautiful scenery, wide/clear paths & plenty of photo ops as there plenty of cool looking spots the deeper you go into the trail. Saw tons of wildlife, mostly chipmunks, so many chipmunks. Lol. But we so saw plenty of birds & frogs.

A nice place. good for mountain biking, too, although fairly small and technically not too demanding.

Excellent place, beautiful views, nature at his best in the middle of a suburban setting. Only thing is that for Covid there was a lot of people not wearing mask on the trail. Also there was no signage advising people to wear one.

Beautiful park. Great for hiking and walking dogs. Did not go fishing but saw 3 people fishing and the dogs love to jump in the water. Cant wait to go back.

What a magnificent place, great trails for walking and biking. If you have a dog...this is the place to bring him, it has a beautiful pond where you might see some swans, ducks and other birds flocking around. Highly recommended for a day out enjoying and exploring nature!

We love hiking in Cutler Park! The variety of natural habitats make for interesting observations. And its close to home.

Very few people wearing masks or social distancing. Very disappointing. We left and went to a park with more considerate visitors.

A little bit crowded on a nice weekend afternoon but 95% of people respectfully wearing masks.

Very nice to walk! Youll see many people with their dogs. Some parts are not easy if you are in you bike but you will enjoy it. Parking is always enough because is not very crowded and its free!Feel the air, listen the birds, stay in peace :)

Great place to go whether your dog loves to swim or just walk the trails. Alot of little, quiet areas to take your dog swimming. The water is clean and Im able to walk in up to my knees cause the bottom is nice and sandy.

Nice park to walk/jog. The trail is a 1.5 mile loop around a nice pond. Part of it parallels the river and is shaded 90% of the trail.

A good place to kayaking near Boston. The rates are reasonable. $16 for a single kayak. $22 for a double kayak. Those are hourly rates. The staff is friendly and will help you out to find the right thing.

Visited this park in the fall a couple of yrs ago. I ended up taking many pictures. Beautiful scenery. The colors from the trees reflected off the water were incredible. The funny thing is. We had no intentions of stopping there. We were in the area and pulled in. Not knowing what we were driving into. We hit the jackpot Absolutely Beautiful Scenery.

This is my wifes and my go-to place for a brisk off-road walk and a breath of fresh air. Its very popular but big enough that it never feels crowded. Dog-walking is allowed and sometimes it seems there are more dogs than people! The beautiful lake scenery completes the package.

I love taking walks there

I have been on many walks in many parks around the area since COVID hit. This is the only park where I encountered mask drama. A cyclist wearing a mask pulled off his mask to breathe on me when passing. I had a mask on, my sister did not. Im mystified by his actions and I dont plan on visiting this place again.

Nice walking trails. We went there after it had rained two days in a row. The path was a bit muddy, but it was still nice. Lots of different dogs too, we had brought ours with us.

Whats with all of the dead fish? Did they freeze or something else going on here? Nice park for a walk, wide dirt paths. With all of the snow melt it was a bit muddy but not too bad. Parking was tight, seems like the people who work/visit the adjacent office building share the lot for the park? Guess I cant complain its free at least

Fantastic park! Its maybe three miles from one end to the other, with all different terrain types. Theres the lake for fishing and boating, a nice gravel path around it for easy walking, well worn dirt trails for mountain bikes, beautiful boardwalks through the marshes, and lots of off-the-beaten-path deer type trails where you can just wander around alone for hours. Recommend hiking boots to see it all, but if you arent afraid of dirt and mud, sneakers will do just fine. Note that you can clearly hear the highway on the western side of the park.

Cutler Park is a remarkable wilderness in the DCR system so close to the highway.Use the parking lot on Kendrick Street and hike the trail between the Charles River and Route 128 all the way to Greendale Avenue. Cross the bridge and follow the trail on the Dedham side of the Charles all the way to Wells Avenue in Newton. Enjoy!

Good spot for mountain biking, trail running, and hiking. Muddy in places after rain. Recently (July/August 2019) there are new wooden planks along one particularly muddy section- much better now. I mostly mountain bike here, there are new side trails as well as some trail work near the highways that is lots of fun with a capable bike. Watch out for fallen trees.

Nice trails, views, and good terrain for hiking. Lots of dogs though. If you have a problem with dogs its not a good choice.

A wonderful place to go for a stroll, walk a dog, or go jogging. The path around the pond is smooth and makes for easy walking. The only real drawback is that parts of the walking trail tend to have some litter on it, especially from dog walkers who leave their dogs poop bags along the side of the trail. Cest la vie. Wish they would be more considerate. But its a small drawback to an otherwise lovely location.

Spent a bit more than an hour exploring mountain bike trails. I enjoyed the single track trails next to 128. The rest of the trails seemed less interesting and challenging.

A great community effort to honor the Charles River waterway. Dedham has capped off a new bridge installation with welcome pause area to reflect the history and natural beauty. Parking for 3-4 cars including handicapped accessible spot. Well landscaped and maintained other communities would do well to produce this model. On Needham St a short distance from route 95.

Pleasant views and approximately 2 mile trail around the pond. My dog enjoys this park too. Convenient to the Needham Heights Trader Joe’s market and restaurants.

Great walking trail. Variable footing and grade with nice wooded paths and views across Kendrick Pond and the Charles River. Highway noise is a shame but I imagine its less noticable when the trees leaf out (we visited in early April). Took the Kendrick Pond Loop trail from the main parking area around to the right, met up with the Blue Heron Trail, around Powells Island and back along the other side of the pond. Saw 20+ bird species and a doe!

I love this place! The trail loop path in the woods goes around the perimeter of the lake, and its really scenic and relaxing to walk around. People come here to walk, jog, or bring their dogs or kids. You can also rent kayaks!

Had a great experience renting kayaks and a stand up paddle board. The service was great, staff friendly and helpful and equipment was in good shape. Great day. Will definitely go back.

Looks like it could have been a cute place to walk your dog, if people would obey the multiple signs posted everywhere that say dogs must be leashed and poop must be picked up! I must have seen at least five or six piles of poop along the trail. And everywhere we tried to stop to get to the water there were Unleashed dogs everywhere. Dont get me wrong, I am all for letting dogs have an opportunity to swim off leash but in a place where there are multiple dogs coming and going it just seems unfair to the people that are upholding the rules.

Nice accessible spot to go for a short hike. I enjoy coming here.
