Enjoyable tour. Not as splendid as other antebellum houses but nice enough. The tour guide was competent and answered all our questions.

The Christmas decor added to the beauty..I was in awe.

Beautiful home built in the mid 1800s. Inside there are examples of time period decor and furnishings. There are also sections staged with mannequins dressed in period clothing portraying examples of Southern life in the 1800s.Great Walk through the past. The whole street downtown is filled with houses like this.

If youre disabled you can enter through the front but have to walk around the back to gain access. There are ramps there did bring you right into the building. Theres a lot to see on the first floor and there is a second floor available but no ADA capability to get to the second floor facing the front of the mansion on the right hand side there is a very nice restaurant where you can get some incredibly good fried chicken. The original owner of this restaurant is also the one who created many of the recipes found on the American steamship paddlewheeler. You could easily spend an hour and a half in this building. They have a very nice little gift shop with some nice historical books if thats what youre looking for

2019 official city guide and visitor center are not agree on the opening hours, this is the case for many houses in Natchez, not easy to plan a tour !
