Brunch at a bar? Yes! Old school arcade games? Yup! Board games for the table? Why not! Modern and retro consoles at the booths? Amazing! And the food is amazing. I didnt expect much from the food the first time but I have been impressed each time. Their drink selection is pretty big too.The staff is great and the music is a decent variety. One of my favorite bars ever!UPDATE: Two Bits has merged with Tin Roof next door. The charm it once had is mostly gone. Most of the menu and atmosphere that made it great has been Tin Roofed. I like Tin Roof, but I like it separate from my Two Bits.
We spent new years eve at Two Bits. It was a lot of fun, the staff were friendly and even though they were very busy, our server did a great job taking care of us, checking on us and keeping us with drinks. The food was also very good. The games were fun to play and TVs on the wall to watch the countdown. We had a great time at Two bits.
Two Bits was one of my favorite Nashville bars before they merged with the bar next door. It used to be a cool, chill place to hang out. Now even if you want to play the arcade machines, you can’t get to them because there are people grinding in front of them. They took a great place and ruined it. So disappointing.
This place was so cool a few years ago. Not sure what happened. There were more machines broken then were operable. There was broken glass all over the back room. They need a huge upgrade before I ever return.
When I went to this place years ago, I believe in 2017, it was a much better place. Ever since they broke a few walls down and combined with the bar next door, it gets too loud and you cant even hear yourself think, let alone enjoy your quality time with your friends. Many people came here as an experience for nerdy bonding time, like playing on the retro gaming consoles or some CAH but even that doesnt feel authentic anymore. I cannot recommend coming out to this place. There are better places to go to out in Nashville and this is not one of them. Please stay clear of this establishment.
I gave it 4 stars only because some of the games didnt work like the N64, but other than that it is a great place to go to eat and play games like the arcade games or systems like the Xbox one with friends.
AMAZING! Great atmosphere, great service, great food. The drinks are pretty expensive. Dont plan on getting drunk for cheap. All the arcade games are for free; lots of great options. It got CRAZY LIT tonight. Had a great time on the dance floor.
The burger was fantastic. The mini corn dogs were fantastic. The beer was fantastic. The prices were relatively reasonable. In short, we really enjoyed our meal. Can’t really say more than we will be back.
Glad we stopped in. Lots of great games and beer selection. There was a private event going on, so we didnt get to see the back. However the few apps that we ordered were tasty and the bartender was really friendly. Would love to see more sours on the beer menu.
This is a fun place to be when the sun goes down.
Went just for some beers with my girlfriend. Large great list of local brews on tap. Reasonably priced for Nashville downtown. Arcade games were all free to play. Tons of other board games. Awesome place to go with friends.
Great atmosphere and good selection. Loved the theme and had fun just playing games & drinking a beer. Service was pretty quick, didn’t try the food. Friendly staff
They have some fun games inside that I enjoy however it also is super crowded and hard to move around. It seems a bit overrated since half their games do not also work.
Awesome fun, reasonably priced drinks and RETRO GAMES! Great place to hang out if you want a different kind of bar experience. Came here with a couple friends and we had a blast.
Used to be nice, spend time with friends with some background music and beer and video games. Now its just a bunch of frat clones playing beer pong with the vanilla rap coming from speakers Im guessing were stolen from Bridgestone arenaIt s*its on my memory of a chill place to pass time
Still an okay bar but it was better before the Tin Roof merge. Frankly, both were better as their own separate entities.
Cool spot, but is overshadowed by the attached bars. It is probably better suited in the day if you want to actually play games.
My favorite place to go on the weekends. The bartenders are great
Great atmosphere and pretty good selection of beer and mixed drinks. Food was average but the free games and good customer service make up for that. A great place to kill a couple of hours for no ore than the cost of your drinks. I’ll be back next time I’m in town!
This is my go to drinking place. The staff has been great. If the weather is good, sit at the bar outside. Free 80s games are a blast from the past!
Super fun place, especially since they keep gaming consoles around as well as the arcade cabinets
Definitely go there for a fun hang out. Drinks are great and free games to play. They could improve on their food, but I generally only go for the fun.
The Impossible burger, fries, and tater tots were all very good. The waitress was very friendly. Enjoyed playing some old arcade games for free too.
Great atmosphere. The Atari at our table didnt work but that should be expected due to usage level. Wish music selection was a little more throwback to days of arcades and the generational video games that they had.
Fast service, great food! Video games and a ton of things to do. Wish I could have spent more time there!!!
My husband and I love coming here! Fun games for the table, great drink selection and the food is good too! I held a holiday party here for my co-workers a few months ago, and the staff was incredible and helpful. Everyone loved the food and the private area they reserved for us with console games. Highly recommend for an event/party or just for a night out!
Go play some pacman and shuffle board and any video game! definitely a good choice here. Good spot and I had an enjoyable time. Friendly atmosphere and they took good care of me. I would go back. You should check them out too, no regrets!
I dont know what happened to this place. What was once a nice bar, with a nerdy/gaming theme, has turned into an over priced dive club with broken gaming systems on the wall. The service is still decent, but the atmosphere is gone. There was no reason to ruin a good thing. Likely wont be back.
It was a neat place. Had a good selection of craft beer and drinks, as well as a few domestic beers. All the arcade games were well used and run down which was disappointing. We had the most fun playing giant jenga in the back room.
Fun place love the video games they have every vintage system you could ever ask for and they have drinks what could be better in a bar?
Stopped by just for cold drink on our venture and waitress was very nice and accommodating.
Two Bits seems great on paper - arcade games, console games, board games, beer, and a decent menu. But the arcade games were almost universally broken (bad joysticks, buttons, displays, etc.). It looked like there was a decent selection of board games but there wouldnt have been enough room on the table for our drinks and a game. The interior is a little cramped in general, so I doubt bigger tables are an option. The console games appeared to be in working order but our table didnt have one so we were unable to try them out.For some absolutely unknown reason, Two Bits seems to think that it also needs to be a sports bar. If I wanted to go to a sports bar, I wouldnt go to a place highlighting its games. The place was full, but nobody there seemed to care about the sports. It was just insanely loud background noise, completely ruining our ability to talk or enjoy our games. It was so obnoxious that people would cheer when the signal went out on the game. I just... I dont get it.They were severely understaffed when we were there. There appeared to be 2 servers managing somewhere around 50 patrons total. If we were in a hurry I think it wouldve been pretty frustrating. Luckily we were just there to kill some time so it was no big deal. All that said, our waitress was awesome when she had time to deal with us. Really couldnt have been happier with her performance given the circumstances. The beer selection was pretty good and all the food we had was very tasty. I enjoyed the Veg-endary Burger. Fries and tots were cooked perfectly. The meat burgers looked amazing (although they did seem a little small), and everyone was happy with the food.TL;DR - Id recommend Two Bits for a good beer and bar food if youre in the area. If you have to make a special trip or youre hardcore about playing games, dont bother.
Really neat, enjoyable atmosphere. Cool retro arcade setting with video game enjoyment while sitting at your table. My only complaint was, the food was pretty simple and very limited menu. Still pretty good bar food, just not a lot of options and there were a lot of slightly upper class customers that werent very interested in other people or making room for someone walking to the bathroom!
My kids love to go here and play video games. Food is good as well
This was a great compromise!!! It was a great atmosphere for our family. Our son enjoyed the games and my husband liked that they were all free. Each table has a different console and controllers. There are classic arcade games throughout. If you’re more into board games they have shelves of those too. The food portions were adequate for the cost. I’d definitely recommend it to a friend.
Why did they take frozen yoshis island out ????? that was the best drink and main reason i went :(
Solid Bar for a happy hour and weekday spot. Weekends get crazy and packed. College aged/mid 20s crowd but still a great time!
This place was really cool. Game consoles at the tables range from Atari, N64, play station, to the newest game consoles. They also had arcade games, karaoke, electronic poker, ect. All the games are free. If that doesnt do it for you, then they also have a great selection of board games. I would say there were about 40 to 50 board games or so. The food was really good as well. I ordered the pimento cheese BLT and the Dixie Biscuits which were out of this world. Everything was delicious. They had a wide variety of local beers and ciders as well. It was about a 10 to 15 minute walk from down town or you can Uber or Lyft it for around $6.
A fun place to enjoy drinks with friends. The crowd is typically young (21-31 yo) and the bar busy, especially on weekends. I enjoy the karaoke and games in the back. Typical speed bar with good drink deals and shot specials. Would recommend going with a small group.
Nice little spot for a drink. Service was okay, not super friendly, but not slow. Loved that there were all kinds of games available to play while hanging out. Nice selection of beer, many of which are local.
Super fun place. Great place to take groups.
Cool bar to play some old school arcade/video games at. Great craft beer selection as well. Nice pit stop on a nashville vacation for a change of pace.
Excellent burger and tots. Enjoyed a fresh East Nashville Beer Works Miro Miel and played Greys Anatomy trivia. Will definitely be back.
We went there on a Sunday afternoon after we had just arrived in Nashville. A lot of attractions were closed because it was later in the day so we headed to two bits. We ended up spending about 5 hours here! The games were well cared for and the service was excellent. We ordered the hot fries which were tasty and as expected. This bar was recommended to us by friends who had visited Nashville and I would definitely recommend to others!
Great atmosphere, drinks good. Staff great
I love this place I just hate that the menu changes when you find something you really enjoy, they do like to try new things. So thats good, and bad depending on what you take a liking to.
Lots of fun and not your traditional bar scene. They have a ton of board games, great drinks and a very chill atmosphere! Loved it!
Drinks and video games are always a great combination. They have classic arcade games as well as consoles new and old plus analog games to boot! Karaoke exists in the back room, but the system is extremely difficult to use and designed for the Chinese market so good luck, but the challenge is part of the fun
Great place and great staff.
Super cool place! Great beers on tap, lots of board and card games to play, life size Jenga and Connect Four outside on the patio. Arcade in the back with a self-serve karaoke system.
Good bar. They have classic video game consoles at the tables for you and your friends to play. Fair prices, nice atmosphere.
Comes up as an arcade place not a bar with 10 games
Had a great night at trivia. Fun retro games, mediocre other stuff
Most of the drinks are far too weak/ watered down. their taps were down, so only canned and bottled beer was available during my visit.being able to play everything for free is cool, so living the nostalgia of beating your buddy at Street Fighter will always feel good.
A bit cramped and run down looking. Could have a better selection of board games and tables to play them on. Is cool the variety of old arcade style video games they have.
One of the most awesome bars Ive ever been to. Huge fan of retro gaming, having a Nintendo 64 at my table was awesome. Also loved the free games scattered around the bar. I wish I didnt live 7 hours away!!
Great beer selection. If youre looking for a place to play SNES they have one already hooked up!
This place is lots of fun, games and beer. What more do you want?
The corn dog appy was great and the Two Night Stand gin drink was fantastic! Great service and trivia game was fun! Rock on!
If someone is visiting from out of town I take them here! The amount of games you can play are endless! Nintendo, adult jenga, scrabble, cards against humanity, even some pinball, they got it. Love this bar.
Food was good but inconsistent - people who ordered the same burger received different sizes and condiments. All of the games had some aspect that was broken, all were covered in grease. Football game was on at top volume in the middle of the day until they lost signal so many times they gave up and turned it completely off. Not worth going back.
My favorite arcade bar in Nashville. Reasonably priced drinks, good selection games that work. Good vube!
This place is full of fun arcade games that make you reminisce about your childhood. But don’t spill a beer or you’ll get cut off. No matter how sober you are.
Waitress with the dreadlocks literally waited on every table around us and never approached us once tonight. We ended up nursing our drinks from the bar while she approached others with menus, took their drink orders and checked in on them. She made eye contact with us several times but continued to blatantly walk past us over a dozen times. after an hour we gave up and left. We were the only non-white people there. There are too many other bars in Nashville too chose from that are friendly to ALL clientele.
I really dont want to write this review but here it goes anyway. My bf and I were visiting Nashville about two weekends ago from Chicago. We were starving and decided to check this place out, from the pictures and reviews the food seems rather delicious. It was a Saturday, and it was pretty busy so maybe thats the excuse....I got myself a beer and a chicken sandwich. I was starving and ready to feast - as soon as I bit into the sandwich, it had a taste of raw fish. So I thought - maybe JUST maybe its the combo of beer and sammich. Nope. I bit again and still a taste of raw fish in a chicken sandwich.Dead serious. So I still thought MAYBE I am going crazy, so I asked my bf to take a bite to confirm, he did and yes, still tasted like raw fish. The fries were probably sitting out for some time so I walked out so unhappy and still starving. I couldnt say anything to our server because it looked she was extremely busy and I just wasnt in the mood to complain to her in a nice way as I was extremely, as people would say hangry.Had to walk a few stores to find a place to eat but am disappointed with my experience here. The ingredients on the menu didnt list anything about the fish. My bf thought his burger was OK, but tots were same temp as mine. Only good thing here was beer.
Free classic video games, do it yourself karokee room, and good food. One problem was I saw cockroaches crawling around inside the video games but Im not naive enough to know that all restaurants get roaches.
This ours one of my favorite possess in town! The perfect combination of nerdy and cool, I think this ours a cool place to be. The drinks were drying, the food delicious, and the games fun. All in all a great experience.
Loved it. Such a cool fun place with great local beers on tap. A definite must stop if your in Nashville.
Nothing screams retro 90s videogame arcade bar like some bingo for some Taylor Swift tickets. Truly something for everyone in the bridal party.
Good location but I didnt care for the food or atmosphere.
Great food, amazing bar and table service. I like the fact that there are many video and board games to pass away the time. Burger was excellent
Visited with local family on Saturday. Turns out they had the majority of the place “reserved” for a private party. So most of the games were off limits. The games available were in need of maintenance. Food and service were fair. Later went to Nashville and found HQ Beercade, wish we had gone there...
The most fun little bar in Nashville! Trivia during the weeks and more games than you can play. Great weekend or weekday meet up spot! Drinks and staff are standard.
Quite a few local beers on tap;. Good selection of retro arcade cabinets and console games. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Very family friendly during the day.
Great food/drinks and fun with friends!
Fun bar with plenty of games to choose from. Gamez and beer that is! A must if you like to play board or video games while youre drinkin.
Bartenders were very attentive. Atmosphere was great. Cant wait to stop back in.
Had a friends bachelor party here and it was a blast!!!
The best bar in America. Drove 7 hours to get there for my last birthday and stayed there all night. Definitely a great atmosphere and always a good time
Man if u get full off 2 bites!! They need to put u on thats incredible lol!!! 2 bites cost u 20 dollars lol!!!
That M.F. WÀS POPPING FRFR
It used to be really good and chill with games but they merged with the place next door now its just another loud bar
Wow Im not even Katey Lally? you you have any other information about your business to the right to be the best way to go back and I am not a big fan and the rest of the day before I leave for work and the rest of the day before I leave for work in the morning and I will be a good time to time and money to pay for the first time since the last few years back to the new York and I have been working in an effort into my head of state of California for you guys think about it and I will be a good time to time and money to pay for the first to see you have a great time
Great place! Yoshi Island drink is the BEST
Good food. The bartender was really nice!
This isnt the place you go for a dizzying beer selection or gourmet food, but the experience is a winner. With a wide array of arcade, tabletop, and console games, the fun is endless. A great idea for groups or a date.
A gamers heaven. Good food. Good beer. Great staff.
Two Bits has to be one of the most entertaining bars in town. They have every board game and classic arcade you played when you were a kid. Oh, and their loaded totes will change your life. Twice. Their prices on mixed drinks & food are reasonable and watching people do jello shots for the first time is priceless.
Fun place to enjoy a cold beer and play old video games
Good place for drinks and to play games. Life size Jenga outside. TVs, video games, and controllers are in questionable working quality. Was a great location for after-work mingling with coworkers, drinks and appetizers with plenty of ice breaker games available.
Good beer prices $5 pints. Good vibe. Not a fan of the menu selection only drawback
This place was alright. Dark and a bit grungy, sticky floors. But lots of arcade games to choose from. A good amount of board games too, although some broken with missing pieces.
Great food and drinks, and the arcade theme of the bar is really cool. Its a great place to stop by for fun.
Fun place to play a few games while you drink. Big screen where you can play N64 and other old school consoles upon request. Can play Xbox live in the back room which is pretty cool too. Also does karaoke in same back room. Decent beer selection but Ive come across quite a few old beers during my time there so going with the draft is recommended.
Funky place. Love the game options. And the Yoshi drink is so good.
Fun bar with great food
