Best acting studio in town. Brilliant creative community to be a part of.

Cant say enough great things about the 4th wall. William knows the business and cares about his students. My daughter has been there for a year now and has really grown in her craft and had a lot of fun while doing it. The only recommendation I would have is that this is for someone who is serious about putting the work in to grow as an actor but if you are then this is a wonderful place to learn and grow out of your comfort zone.

William is one of the greatest, inspiring and fun acting coaches our teen has ever worked with. Not only does he act as your coach, but hes your partner, and makes you feel comfortable when youre practicing your scene when you can be so nervous!! William has taught her to come prepared, how to get into character, how to memorize lines better, and so much more. I love his class and Saturdays are my favorite part of the weekend!

I have had a long time dream to act, but was always too scared to be in front of people and in the spotlight. William creates a warm and welcome environment the first day that you visit class. He takes the time to get to know you and helps you discover what makes you tick so that he can do the best to help you grow as an actor. Whether youve never taken an acting class before (like myself) or you are a seasoned veteran, this is such a wonderful place to grow your art. Each class gives you more and more insight into each character and each scene that you perform. He helps you bring YOU to the character. This studio feels like a second home with a community that quickly becomes family. Everyone is incredibly supportive and helpful. He wants to see you succeed and he will constantly challenge you to help you meet your goals. Visit a class some time and see it for yourself. Itll cost you nothing but a little time and before you know it, youll be hooked too!

This is the first experience I’ve ever had with acting and I was absolutely blown away. I was a student for a few weeks and I wish it could have been longer but in that time I learned a lot about the business from William who often shares insights about his own experiences. He’s encouraging, yet firm while remaining fair and easy to work with. There is no shortage of good things I could say but if your on the fence go audit a class! (Its free) I would absolutely recommend the 4th Wall Acting Studio to my closest friends and family. It’s just a great environment to learn/perfect your craft.

Honestly, its a studio that teaches far more than acting alone. Ive taken away phenomenal life lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Moreover, it continues to challenge and motivate me to be the best me I can be. And for that I am far more present in life than I have been in a long time.

I have been coming to the 4th wall for about 6 months now, and its probably the best decision Ive made with regards to acting. Its an acting studio, but theres also such a sense of family and community. William genuinely has our best interest in mind, and it shows through the kind of atmosphere he creates for his students. We are there to uplift and support yet challenge each other at the same time. Would highly recommend to anyone!!

The 4th Wall Acting Studio will forever be my home. Last year I audited a class (FOR FREE) and by the end of that class I had made friends that I will forever call my friends. William is the best acting teacher I’ve ever had (that includes my LA classes) because he refuses to just be a teacher. He is a mentor and a friend. He will force you to break through walls you didn’t know you had and then help you up and give you the confidence to find the next one. I love this place! Best Acting Studio ever!! The 4th Wall has changed my life in so many positive ways and has really prepared me for work as an Actress in Film & TV. One word, COMMUNITY. I love this studio. Its a group of folks all pushing each other to a common goal. We work, build, and grow with each other every time we meet. Outside the studio we create and work to advance our career. I found my BESTFRIENDS HERE. I honestly dont know where I would be without this group.

The 4th Wall has not just been a class, but a home to me for over a year now. I wouldnt have my success without Williams coaching and guidance. He not only pushes you to be better each time you perform, but you will also learn through watching and listening to his coaching for the other actors and scenes in class. The community, or acting family, that Ive gained since being apart of the studio is something I will always be grateful for. Everyone is so encouraging and passionate and hard working! The 4th Wall Acting Studio uses a personalized teaching approach to grow each student in the direction of becoming their best actor possible. From preparing for the audition to self-assessment post-performance, the 4th Wall provides a structure and community in which an actor can thrive in his or her craft. Additionally, the community bears a unique collaborative energy, resulting in a close-knit group of students who have each others backs and work together regularly.

Ive taken a lot of acting classes and this place is the best. Not only is William Arnold, the teacher, awesome but the students are too. There is a sense of community, where everyone wants each other to succeed.

William is an engaging teacher and coach and pushes his teens to go deeper into the characters they are studying. He has a colleaguial style with them and they are treated like adults and professionals--it is not a kids class!! The content is serious and relevant for working actors, but he makes it fun and inspiring. We are so lucky to have William and the 4th wall in Nashville!!!

First time actor stretching muscles I never used before. However, 4th Wall makes it comfortable, yet challenging to try new and exciting things in preparation for tv and film. Great connections and even better people!
