Ive been going here for over 5 years, it was the first venue I checked out when I moved here. The comedy open mic nights with a strong crew of established local comics every Tuesday will always have you laughing. Ive discovered so many great local artists here. From pop-up restaurants to Dan Deacon having the audience make a human tunnel out back door, the East Room is an essential part of the Nashville experience.

Sound was good. Really nice sized stage. Easy viewing. Only serve beer to my knowledge. Havent played here yet, but will report back when I do! Audience perspective is that its a great venue to see acts in.

As a local artist, this is my favorite venue in the area to play. I also really enjoy attending events here. clean, laid back but not a dive, unique and artistic space. I love it and find its a great space for parties or shows. parking is limited so be advised if you dont arrive early you will need to find street parking, which is really not very difficult just something to know. also if its your first time, the entrance is down the side of the building (your right side if youre facing the building)

The East Room is one of the few venues in Nashville I can say I’ve never seen a disappointing show at. I’m not talking about bands or clientele, but more the sound. Every show has been mixed well and it seems no matter where you are in the building you’ll be able to hear and for the most part see everything. Also if you’re a musician, playing there is great too. I felt on top of everything I was doing for our entire set, which had so much to do with how the sound guy was running it. Great place all around.

My first time to the East Room was very unique, My first night in Nashville I ended up at the East Room. It happened to be open Mic comedy. Ive never been to one before anywhere. It was super chill, great people and great entertainment . Very dark inside, and I guess I mean very intimate atmosphere. Took a minute for my eyes to adjust but it could have just been the way it was setup for comedy night. Had a great time. Will return

Saw Sun Seeker and Ranch Ghost here on Friday. The high ceilings and mezzanine are cool, the show was $5 at the door, and the music was pretty good. The place isnt too large, so its always easy to get a drink at the bar and the staff are all pretty chill. Theres a nice outdoor smoking area in the back where you can get away from the crowd between shows. The only bad thing is the bathrooms, there were fairly substantial lines between shows, especially the womens room.

Always an interesting mix of shows; a great place to see local talent. Good layout, good people.

Great music venue in Nashville!

Im not really a concertgoer, but I liked this venue. Its small enough to be intimate, but (at least the two acts I saw), it wasnt overwhelmingly loud, although Im sure that could change depending on the night. Im glad I know about this in case Im intersted in going to a show.

A total dive venue. I saw Jeff The Brotherhood there and had an amazing time. My daughter was in the mosh pit when she popped up and had her first crowd surf, proud papa!

Great, small, intimate venue with surprisingly grate sound. It may just be a little, hole in the wall, but I miss the days of intimate places like it. Seeing up & coming bands... Not much of a beer selection, other than that. i recommend it!!

Favorite music venue in Nashville. The sound guy gets my hats off any day. Diverse venue too! I’ve seen soul, funk, hip hop, jazz, blues, rock, indie, punk, and comedy here.

Their hallway coming in is a level 1 boss area, but once inside youll be grateful for beer and good music. I miss the comedy nights.

While watching a band there I light fell from the ceiling and hit some people in the crowd. No one was hurt but come on east room, get it together.

My wife and I was invited on Tuesday night for comedy.wow!!!!! No one there was funny I was really looking forward to a good laugh.Only thing there that was good was the pizza and beer lol!!!!! Everyone in the place was so stoned and acted like they was on some really good drugs maybe some happy mushrooms..Most of the comedians would start a joke then would run out of time and just walk off stage lol!!!! Who tells one joke for 5 min then stops omg!!!!! If you know you got 5 min to tell a joke at least tell a shorter joke...This place really is terrible!!!!
