I ordered the Herb Crusted Atlantic Salmon & A Captains Punch mixed drink...Extremely Delightfully Delicious My server Macy & Manager, Ingrid, made sure my dinning experience was everything it should be

Nice place to visit. Food was great and a lot of unusual and pretty fish.

So the food was good. The service was amazing. Ricky is supper friendly and knowledgeable about the fish in the aquarium. The mermaid drink was very good. I appreciated that hour wait turned into about 20 minutes. We plan to stop here the next time we pass through.

Okay so for the first time there I throughly enjoyed myself. Although the waitress wasnt as chipper as the environment. I understand how busy they were! The meal came out in a decent time and was flavorful.We had a little wait time so we stopped in the Opry mall which had a very good selection of stores.

Expensive but thats not a secret. You pay for the atmosphere as much you do the food. Food was great and our waiter was friendly and kept an eye on our table for refills and clearly used plates off our table.

Been here a few times before but this time the food was exponentially better than previous visits.

Located in Nashville, OpryMills mall, is a great place for families. restaurant is gorgeous all around, will keep kids entertained with all the fish surrounding you in the beautiful aquariums. Covid safety consciousness. Also next to Gaylord Opryland hotel which is beautiful during holiday season

The food was not the best, didn’t really expect it to be, however the young lady who served us was really good! The view was cool too! Check out the pictures! Don’t expect the best food, however it is okay, but it is a cool little spot to take the kids and let the see the fish! We enjoyed it!

We called ahead to reserve a table for 10. When we got there we were informed our party would have to sit at separate tables. When confronting the manager we got excuse after excuse. This was not the only up setting thing either. We are from Indiana so we were expecting a full menu and did not get that either. In full understanding of the crona. They should have informed use of this prior to arrival. We also order steak and they were not worth the price either. The waitress was phenomenal and did everything she could. Which made it a tad bit better. At this point though I would not recommend this place to anyone for the price.

Very poor service. I had tickets to a Grand Ole Opry show directly across the street at 7PM. I called at noon to make a reservation. I was told they wouldnt take a reservation as seats were being saved for walk-ins. I tried to walk-in at 5:30 to find out it was an hour and 45 minute wait...obviously, not an option. End result, dinner elsewhere and I wont waste my.money here again.

The service and aquarium were wonderful. Macie was our server and did a great job. She was attentive and had a great personality. The food was fine. Not outstanding, but not bad.

Atmosphere was pretty good, big aquarium in the center of the restaurant. Food was fair.... Its on the expensive side!!! Service was not good, had to wait a long time for the food... Our order got messed up, pretty sure the table beside us got messed up....

No Dolphin steaks or shark. All deep fried except the pizza. Drinks are okay. 90 species of sealife and no listing of what is the tank. Owner is putting more work on the wait staff. Nice of him.Coleslaw was dry.

The other reviews are right and that the food is only four star or even three if youre truly used to eating quality seafood. (We moved here from the Georgian East coast so were used to freshly caught, locally sourced, Georgia White Shrimp, so were a bit picky when it comes to our seafood...)However, this restaurant is probably the most wonderful, most family-friendly sit-down dining experience weve had in a very long time. Its the perfect place to bring a toddler, or a pair of toddlers, in my case. My husband and I brought our three-year-old and 19 month old there last night and had an absolutely wonderful time. They have a good kids menu with all the favorites. Your toddlers will definitely have something that pleases their palate. They also have a good selection of burgers seafood dishes and salads.So, in all, I give them a solid B for the seafood and an A++ for atmosphere and family friendliness. We will definitely be back occasionally to treat the babies.

Expensive, but good food! Portions are generous. Noisy, but by design. Most patrons have small children, and are walking around looking at the live fish. Wait staff professional and charming

It was a fun atmosphere but more expensive than it needs to be. Im sure they charge more to offset the cost of the aquarium but still.... Staff was friendly & they were taking great precautions with only every other table open.

Visit led during the pandemic. Love the atmosphere now that covid is here its quieter. The menu has shrunk tremendously so there are not many options. Food was okay. My kids enjoyed it. I would return as long as they have more dinner options.

The atmosphere is incredible! If you have a peanut allergy though, they dont have any non-nut desserts and they will give you a small scoop of plain vanilla ice cream.

It used to be so good there. But what really did it for me was the condition of the bathrooms which smells like they have dead fish inside the toilets. None of the stalls were clean. I almost vomited from the smell. Also they don’t have their amazing lava cakes anymore

This was the first place I saw before rainforest cafe and want to go back to as well.

Great food however they made a mistake on our order so I ask for like 5-10 percent. Young manager pretty much said so don’t care. And was rude about it wow. Horrible What wrong with young people. Give them a title manager and 10 bucks hour they think there on top. You need a new job. No normal manager would ever treat people like this.

The kids (10 & 8) and I also did the behind the scenes tour. It was only 23 dollars with tax. The seafood is AMAZING.

Great place. You get to eat seafood while staring at fish in a tank. I wish steakhouses were like this. Eat a T-bone while a cow shuffles around.

This is the sister restaurant to the one in Houston, TX. I have visited and had good experiences at both. Definitely not in the budget all the time but it is a neat experience and the food was exquisite. Its a special occasion type of place with a versatile atmosphere. Its a perfectly romantic/elegant/ classy fine dining experience but I would simultaneously recommend taking any age child here for a fancy surprise birthday dinner. The place just has wow factor because of the lighting and view of the aquarium tank.I definitely suggest making a reservation to avoid the line. Another thing to be aware of is the tax-free week they observe in Nashville. We didnt know this was a thing until after we spent a half hour in a traffic jam just trying to enter the mall parking area. Think Black Friday shopping chaos on steroids. Its insane.The aquarium has a lot of unique fish I have not seen at other aquariums and sometimes you get to watch a diver in the tank while you dine!

Located inside the Opry Mills Mall, this restaurant offers a unique “underwater” dining experience. There’s a large floor to ceiling fish tank in the middle of the restaurant with tables positioned all around. There are a variety of fish including large eels, barracuda, sting rays, angel fish, and more - big and small! It was certainly a fun experience, especially if visiting with children.They have a great seafood-based menu (although eating seafood in front of the sea life offered a bit of a conundrum). The food was great but I felt it was overpriced. I ordered the ahi tuna salad for $22 and although it did come with a good portion of tuna, the salad overall was underwhelming. I felt the kids menu was great and well priced - you get a main course and a side but it also came out with fruit and rice in addition to my order. Also, the mall location seemed to degrade its full potential.All in all, I would highly recommend if visiting with kids.

Must see if you havent ever been there. They have a aquarium that goes through the whole center of the restaurant. Love the salt water tanks!!!

This restaurant is by far one of the best places to go to for a casual date or even with the whole family! The aquarium in the center of the restaurant is floor to ceiling and the tables along the wall are made to seem as if they are a part of a coral reef. We had no wait time and were served immediately. The menu was reasonably priced for the options given as would be expected for any surf and turf restaurant. The food was simply amazing and fulfilling. The restaurant was clean and well maintained, and the staff was extremely respectful, professional, and courteous. My whole family as well as I, thoroughly enjoyed this adventurous dining experience!

The food was good BUT you are paying for the atmosphere and if you take your food to go, you get very smal servings for the price.

Worst experience I’ve ever had in an establishment. Being in the hospitality field myself. Waited over an hour an 20 minutes for our food. The manager never apologized and didn’t take anything off our bill. The manager basically blamed us for the food being so late since we ordered appetizers. Management is the worst I have ever experienced. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I am embarrassed for this establishment as being in this field. They should be ashamed and embarrassed of themselves.

Service was horrible. We sat for 20 minutes before we were greeted. And when we were greeted she only said I will be right with you and we waited another 10 minutes still no service, so we left.

The atmosphere here is amazing the stuff was good and the food is good. It is a good place to eat if you’re looking for something fun and different.

Seafood and the setting at this place is excellent. I give this place double thumbs up. The bill was good for how much you get.

If they had a 2.5 Id give them a little more credit for the aquarium and ambiance it is a nice setting but the menu selection is minimal at best 8 entries and all were priced 20 or more. For a seafood spot i guess Id expected more. But save your money and go to a regular aquarium with a sacked lunch lol.

I absolutely Love the atmosphere there. You have to see it to appreciate it. Its a gigantic aquarium with dining tables added around it. They have great food, its a little pricey in my opinion but well worth it!

Worst dining experience I’ve ever had. Waited over an hour after our order before having to tell a manager that it had been almost 90 min. She did not care at all and charged me for everything and cancelled my food. Don’t come here

Aquarium is expensive for my budget, but the experience was neat with all the exotic fish, the serving sizes were good, and the service was excellent. I just wish I could say the food was great. It wasnt - it was really good, but it was a little plain in my opinion.

You can imagine our surprise when we wandered into the belly of a hugh awesome aquarium. Our waitress and all the staff was great. The food was good. Generous portions but not over the top.

Me and my husband came here for our 9th anniversary dinner. The atmosphere was beautiful with all the fish swimming around. The hostess was very nice and sat us right in front of the huge fish tank. Matt was our server and he was very nice and answered all my questions and brought our food quickly. I got the seafood Lasagna and my husband got the Asian shrimp and rib meal. We had the castaway appetizer very delicious. My seafood Lasagna was good a bit salty. The presentation didnt look anything like the picture. It didnt even look Lasagna. It looked like sauce and cheese soup with two shrimp and two scallops on top. The dish needed garlic bread to get up all the sauce off the plate. This is the reason I didnt give 5 stars. My husband truly enjoyed his meal the shrimp was very delicious and big. He said his ribs were tender and the sauce was oh so delicious. The presentation was beautiful. The desserts were delicious. I didnt take a picture of my meal because it was a mess.

Well it’s a restaurant with a lot of aquariums and sea life. You can look at what you’re eating while it’s still alive. You don’t actually eat what’s in the tank but you eat the same thing that’s in there. It’s neat and the kids really like it. The food is typical American and seafood. I’ve noticed that the kids really enjoy looking at the fish and the ambience.

I enjoyed my afternoon at the aquarium restaurant it was beautiful, such a fun and relaxing atmosphere. My kids loved it!

Food was great and atmosphere was fun. I highly recommend the herb-crusted salmon! Service was horrible. The waiter only came back to give us our bills, but never to check if we needed anything or refills.

Food was good, at least for those of us that had pasta. Service was great. My dad said the Mahi Mahi was okay but a bit bland. Kiddos absolutely LOVED the fish.

OMG jesus help me, its so so good food. Love the place, good for kids and very good variety types of testy food. Price is responsible too. Love it

Cool aquarium they have little spendy but worth it

The restaurant and entrance have super large aquariums filled with exotic fish including stingray and sharks. We were greeted by a hostess who said there would be a 10 minute wait. The only real disappointment was when we were called, we walked into a restaurant that was only 25% full, so why the wait? If they had sat us quicker, we would have had a drink and not felt rushed. (Who lost there Mr Manager)

Wow,I dont know where to start with this review. I consider myself an avid seafood lover. Going to the Aquarium was my first experience . Im 42 and I can honestly say as many times as I have eaten out in my life,this was by far my favorite. There was a 15 minute wait when I got there,I was seated in just about 10 minutes. While waiting I was able to explore the wonderful breathtaking scenery around me. The hostess asked if I liked to see a menu while I was waiting to be seated, but I chose to look at the amazing sea creatures that were all around me. When our food was brought to us, it was so beautifully put together. So elegant that you couldnt help but feel like royalty. The taste was absolutely perfection. Our waitress encouraged us to walk around and look at their main tank while waiting on dessert. When she brought us the dessert menu,it was fake dessert, presented on a well put together display. The dessert naturally tasted divine as well. There is no amount of stars that is to great for this restaurant.....The Aquarium is by far The Favorite Seafood Destination Place.

I love the food plus you get to see all different kinds of fish and get educated about them.

I had the apricot glazed salmon and it was delicious. It was also very relaxing to watch the different variety of fish swimming in the aquarium while enjoying my meal.

I loved the appetizer. entree was decent. you are definitely paying for the environment. I would recommend everyone try this place at least once though.

This restaurant is amazing! There is a 200,000 gallon saltwater tank that goes floor to ceiling full of amazing varieties of fish. I saw sharks, stingrays, catfish, a moray eel, and tons of other fish I dont know the names of. It was a unique dining experience and the portions were very generous and quite tasty.If youve got family its a great place the kids will enjoy (just make sure they dont hit the glass as that really bothers the )

The food was good but for the price not really worth it. What you are paying for is the ambiance and scenery, getting to eat 5 feet away from a puffer fish swimming around a stingray provides for a memorable meal.

The Aquarium Restaurant was a great dining experience. You can go and dine on a variety of seafood dishes from the menu. As you dine you can enjoy the scenery of the different aquatic creatures swimming by in the giant surrounding aquarium. Not to mention that the restaurant is located in the center of Oprey Mills Mall.

We went with the family and the children enjoyed the giant aquarium. They have interesting fish. I was not impressed with the Mac and cheese kids meal. The staff is very friendly.

This was an amazing experience! My mom loves fish and seafood so this was defintely a treat for her! You’re defintely paying for the experience but that was okay by us. I ordered a steak that was cooked perfectly. The seasonal vegetables weren’t my favorite as it was mostly squash, but the house salad was excellent. My mom has the stuffed shrimp and everything was very tasty.However, our waiter really made he experience great! He was able to tell us about almost every fish in the tank and offered to take a picture of us as we were leaving. He really took the time to have a conversation with us even though he was busy.My only “con” would be the gift shop. I love gift shops and this place had lots of cute mermaid, fish, and sea themed items BUT they didn’t have a lots of “brand” merchandise. I just wish they had more with their logo because I like to collect items of where I’ve been (that has the location/place of where I’ve been).If you’ve never been to an Aquarium restaurant, I highly recommend visiting!

Man this was a really cool place to eat. The prices are a little on the high end however the food was really good. The ambience was outstanding. This is absolutely a place to eat at and make some memories. I went with some friends and when I am back this way I will absolutely be taking my wife. I got and suggest the meal that comes with lobster, shrimp and steak. Yum, yum good it was.

Here for the amazing mermaid show. It was. My waitress though was not up to the standard for the restaurant and didnt do anything to fix any of situations I pointed out. I called a day later to speak to manager, and still waiting. The food wasnt that terrific - in accordance to the restaurants standards, but grateful for food (1st world problems, right?) The mermaids and hostess and rest of staff were awesome.

Friend staff and cool atmosphere but overpriced for quality of food.

Ive read some bad reviews but we tried it anyways...so glad we did, the food was fantastic and the aquarium is magnificent. The kids really enjoyed it, there were 7 in our party, everyone ordered something different and all of the food was great. Service was wonderful, our waitress also knew a lot of information about the fish in the tank. Would definitely recommend and go back! :)
