Loved, loved, loved the Wizards and Spells! Got to use wands that really worked, potion puzzles and ... go see for yourself! We liked it so much we did the Japanese Thriller, too! The owner is fantastic!

Ive done around 20 different escape rooms all over the country. This one is way too basic and too easy. In all ways, choose The Escape Game over this!! The price is very similar but the value is not even close! It feels like Music City Escape rooms are just capitalizing on a trend for profit and not putting their heart into making a great experience. The production value was so low and puzzles simple.I would only go back to try the other rooms if it was $8 per person max.

I would DEFINITELY recommend this place to ANYBODY who likes thrills, has a sense of adventure, and is looking to have lots of fun with family and friends! Our hosts were Jessie and Antonio. Theyre super nice!

I went with my colleagues as part of our management team builder. One half of us did the Japanese horror room (which starts before you get in the room), and the other half did the superhero themed room. Neither team got out (we were on the very last puzzle), but we had a great time and felt silly when we saw how easy it was to get out. Olivia was our assistant and she was really helpful.

It was really generic and with only two people made it almost impossible to do in an hour.

Such a fun place! We had a bunch of teenage boys and did the Japanese Thriller. Olivia was an awesome host. She helped keep everyone focused and did a great job instructing the whole party on what to expect. I highly recommend this place. One of the better challenges for the price.

I took our whole youth group (40 people) here while in town for a conference. After calling several escape room locations, Music City Escape were the easiest ones to work with. They quickly accommodated our huge group by giving us all three rooms at one hour and two rooms the next hour. On top of that they worked with us on an affordable price. They were helpful on the phone and just as helpful in person. I personally did the Superheroes room and my team had a blast. We got to wear capes and even were given funny superhero identities. Olivia hosted us and she made it exciting and fun for my group from the intro room all the way to the close. She even laughed at our bad jokes. All of the teams who went to the other rooms had a great time too. No one was disappointed. Thanks Music City Escape!

My daughter went off to the escape room for her friends birthday and she said that the Japanese Thriller Room was awesome but was sad that the moderator was about to do the haunting but never did it.She also came home with a sugar high!!!!From my understanding the host Olivia had tricked the kids into giving a good review for candy.

It was good, quality family time trying to escape the Wizards and Spells room. It was a fun adventure for my 11 year old daughter who loves Harry Potter. I recommend this room if you have kids. Our host, Olivia, was fun and informative and enhanced the overall experience. We’re already talking about when we can go back and do the Japanese Thriller room.

First time ever going to an Escape Room & boy what a blast we had! When I am in the area again I will definitely be back to challenge myself with another room. We all went there for our grandsons graduation and I am so thankful that we did! The staff were very helpful and made it very clear on how these rooms were. We had a blast and you we too!

Great escape room. Olivia was super great host we felt like real super heroes when we escaped the room with 20 seconds left on the timer. She was great for the time we booked our time to the finish.

Oh where to begin. Their wesite said they were open till 10pm. We booked a room on their website for 8:30 pm. We drove 40 minutes to get there arrived early as the website said. They were closed we even waited around and no one showed up. I called and sent a email . 2 days later i get a email sending me a reservation for for 830pm for that evening. No apology nothing asking if that time will work. So i call ahead and get someones voicemaile that evening about 700. I call back ten minutes later and someone answere hello. No name of the business, i ask if its the escape room, yea is the reply. I asked if anyonea would be there he says well they should be. I finally got a yes they would be open. We get there the guy was very unprofessional he speed talked through the instructions to the room. The guy working there was arguing outside the room on the phone with someone for about 20min when we first got into the room. The room was very unimpressive everything was outdated. I will not get into details or it would gild the secrets away. For $16.00 mor per person you can go to the mall and theirs are 10x better and are from this century and their employees are professional.

Because of its unique theme, we really wanted to see what Japanese Thriller was about. We were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed it quite a bit! Im probably butchering her name but Kirsten was very helpful and an awesome game runner! Weve done a lot of escape rooms, and we will definitely be back to try more.

As far as escape rooms go, this is a good place to start for an affordable room for beginners. The puzzles were a little tricky, and the idea of competing to be the best team of the month is a great idea. There are only three rooms, and its a bummer that the only one open on the day I went was the Japanese Thriller room. I would have liked to try the Wizard or Super Hero room. Rachel was appropriately enthusiastic and helpful.Pros: affordable, friendly, helpful staff, interesting games.Cons: only 3 rooms, the location isnt inspiring from the outside, you get what you pay for with set aesthetic, well done but not intricately detailed.Overall, I would come here with my friends who really like escape games and want to do every one. And Rachel was nice and even funny at times.

Fun. But really rushed. I am not sure doing more than once would be worth it given that you would be tipped off of what to watch for on subsequent visits. We all enjoyed our time here. Lots to do on this side of town, though not in the strip mall where this is located. Not so easy to spot from the road.

We did the super hero room and had a blast! Joseph was our game master and was great. We managed to escape right at the last second in true super hero fasion. We will definitely be back for another room soon!

My co-workers and I did a team building exercise at Music City Escape. We had such a great time, Adam who works there was fantastic. We did the superheroes challenge and had a blast. I look forward to going again very soon with my family and friends.

I brought my 12 year old son and his friends to do the Japanese Thriller escape. Olivia was a fantastic hostess. The 10 boys were crazy excited. She was polite, well informed, and assertive enough to keep the kids under control. We will be back!

That was a lot of fun. Went with 2 men over 50, a gal about 50, a 19 year old gal, a 13 year old boy, and 12 year old girl. Everyone played a role! Some things adults couldnt figure out, some things the kids couldnt figure out. Really fun. Pay attention to details. We made one error early on that hit us later. Everyone should look at answers; dont assume because someone told you an answer that its right! Going again.....next weekend.

It was a fantastic experience. Our host Adam was great and friendly. The room was challenging a bit creepy (Japanese Thriller Room) and fun. Theres an in house competition against other groups for the highest points over a months time. The points are only cumulative of the nights escape. Its an added part to push you to get the room done the best. Overall I would definitely recommend this location to everyone.

A great place with a pretty challenging room! We did the Japanese Thriller Room, which I was a little nervous about being too scary, but it was good. There were a lot of puzzles to solve, and I found the bonus points quiz at the end interesting. It definitely made you pay attention to more details in the room! Alyssa was a wonderful moderator and really helped prepare our team and help us escape!

Adam is awesome!!! The kids had the best time! Got passed from Groupon and they did an extra game for $15/person. Totally worth 2 hours for the bambinoes. They liked Wizards better than Super Heroes. But sad both were fun.

The story behind the Japanese thriller room was so cool that we ended up doing research on the serial killer it was based on. As a matter of fact we walked out of there having had so much fun, we even started getting super excited at the prospect of the different themes we could incorporate if we were to own our own escape room! Moderately challenging and enjoyable, our group tried our hand at the Japanese Thriller game and had a great time! It was fun and suspenseful with puzzles that were interesting and, I thought, creative. It was also just exciting being with friends and working together to figure out our escape. This was our 1st experience in an escape room and Music City Escape Room did NOT disappoint! It was a quiet spot, easy to travel to, as well as had on site parking. We enjoyed every minute and puzzle that was thrown our way. Olivia did a fantastic job making sure we understood and got excited for the journey we were about to embark.
