Been there several times for weddings over the years. Nice venue. Great outdoor seating. Nice views.
I picked up takeout for my mom because she lives in this community and cannot leave her house right now. Its close and convenient. She really likes the lobster roll and chocolate tort cake. However, no one answered the phone when I tried to call to order food. I called 20 times in a row and nothing. I had to go down there to order and wait 20 minutes while the food cooked. I was appalled that no one was wearing a mask--none of the a patrons and none of the workers. It made me question what was going on in the kitchen. There had been a golf tournament and the remaining golfers eating outside were literally hugging, kissing, and talking really close to each other. I chatted with the young man charging my credit card. He was telling how he takes turn with his family caring for his 90 year old grandmother right now. I felt sick thinking about his exposure to those patrons and then caring for his elderly grandma.
The people love it.
Top Notch from start to finish. From our initial walk thru with Lynn we felt at ease and noticed how well the property was taken care of. As the days got closer Lynn coordinated with our vendors and helped us with all of the day of details. She was always an email away and we found her to be extremely responsive. Lynn has such a calming effect for those who have a stressed personality and she really made everything perfect. We were introduced to Josh who was the day of coordinator. Josh was on point, every single detail, every minute! Josh corralled our wedding party of 23 and helped us figure out the line up. The day of Josh made EVERY detail fall into place. From making sure we had drinks to bringing passed starters. Josh kept the day on track and his entire staff in line. He made everything seem so seamless. We would like to thank Lynn and Josh along with all of the staff at Sky Meadow for the best day of our lives.
Beautiful wedding venue and incredibly accommodating staff. Cant say enough about our experience.
Great private course in southern NH that even has a few holes in Massachusetts too! Picturesque and a good amount of water make this course scenic and challenging.
Beautiful course and surprisingly good food. I loved my day here and hope to go back and play the back nine someday
Great food, great service... went for a gala that was held there. Wonderful experience!!!
EDIT:After giving my initial review, I was contacted by the couple who got married and they told me that the wedding coordinator had shown them the negative points in my review AFTER the wedding. I am appalled at this unprofessional behavior as my issue was not with the couple AT ALL but with the venue. I am not sure what she was trying to accomplish by making it a point to show my friends this review, but what she did accomplish was forcing me into an extremely awkward conversation with a good friend of mine AND making my friends fresh home from their honeymoon feel badly and worry unnecessarily that people did not have a good time (which of course they did). I am seriously unimpressed with this behavior.INITIAL REVIEW:Pros: Venue was beautiful. Food was delicious. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bartenders were quick and efficient.Cons: Wedding on a rainy day and it seemed poorly planned on the venues end. Guests were stuck in the rather small front lobby area for upwards of 45 minutes with no access to the function room. There was no explanation given for this hold up. There was nowhere to sit for 90% of the guest in that area, no drinks or appetizers as we waited to be allowed into the function room. So essentially, the cocktail hour started an hour after everyone had arrived. We didnt start getting the first course of our meal until almost two hours after we had been allowed into the function hall and the time in between courses was extensive, so when all was said and done, there was only an hour left for people to dance and socialize after dinner because they only had the space until 10 p.m. All in all the event was enjoyable, but the apparent disorganization meant that everyone spent a lot of time sitting around waiting for things to happen, rather than actually socializing, etc.I know people who have been to other weddings at the venue who were surprised to hear this and did not have the same experience, but they did note that they had been summer weddings in sunshine with the option of spending time outside on a little patio. Seems as if they had no contingency plan in place for a rainy day in October.
Great place for parties! Good space for gatherings and events! The staff is friendly and very hard workers!
Was there first a business luncheon. Great venue...attentive staff
Great place. They offer hydro therapy there if you have back problems. Only downside is the expense.
The attendant at the guard house was rude. The guard house setup was very unwelcoming. Poor first impression.
The staff did an excellent job for my daughters wedding. Highly recommend.
