The Best. I wanted a custom made, versatile shotgun for trap, skeet and sporting clays and spoke to Rich Cole on the phone initially. Rich is an expert in fine shotguns and with his help I decided on a Perazzi MX8 SC3 12ga, after considering several of the other major brands. I then met with Rich for stock sizing, to pick the wood and an engraving pattern and other options and placed the order. Perazzi only makes 5 shotguns a day so you must be patient, especially for custom engraving of the receiver. The gun arrived and fits me like a glove. The mount and hold are perfect and the beads line up just right with my large frame. It shoots where I am looking!. Ordering a custom made and fitted shotgun is a great experience and luxury that I highly recommend if you are passionate about sport shooting or hunting, but you need an expert that knows what they are doing to get it right. Rich and Jona Cole were great through the whole process keeping me updated throughout. If you are considering a new shotgun or repairs, Cole Gunsmithing has the experience and expertise like no others and are highly recommended!

I bought a Beretta Silver Pigeon V that had its stock customized by the prior owner. . I took the plunge hoping that Coles could help me out with it. After talking with Megan I selected an awesome wood set from their great selection and sent it off to Naples. I just got it back, and to say it is as good as new would be shortchanging it. It looks better than any new one I have ever seen! The wood is gorgeous and perfectly fitted and turnaround time was spectacular (especially during this Covid crazy time). Props also to Pedro for getting my desired dimensions exactly right. Im very happy and highly recommend Cole Gunsmithing!

I sent my Beretta 687 silver pigeon III to Coles for some upgrades. They converted my pistol grip stock to a Prince of Whales style, and its beautiful. Also had two new forends fit to my barrels, one needed all the metal hardware fit to it, both fit perfectly. Anyone needing any gunsmithing work done, this is the shop to send it to. You come to a place like this to spend a good amount of money if the relationship started off like this.. Coles is where we purchased a silver pigeon shotgun for our son that is on a competitive youth shooting team. The customer is service is top notch!!! They treat you like family and appreciate your business. After a year and a half and thousands of rounds being shot thru the gun, they also rebuilt his gun to like new! He just won 2 tournaments with it! I highly recommend this family owned company!!

I have dealt with Cole (both Florida and Maine locations) several times over the past few years and the only thing that surpasses the quality of their products/workmanship is their customer service! I have had them upgrade a 682 Sporting, 687 EL and now a 686 Onyx. Most recently, I have dealt with Kelly in Maine who has been instantly responsive and answers my questions thoroughly.I would recommend every Beretta 680 series owner to upgrade to a stunning Cole stock - youll be the envy of your gunclub and hunting party... why would you want to shoot an ugly gun? :)

Purchased a cole special A400 excel few months back. Really enjoy shooting the auto. The customer service was great from start to finish. Really like to trigger work done on the A400. Only regret, wish I had got the real word now.

Have worked with these guys a few times and have always been impressed! To be honest, Cole Gunsmithing does better work than the manufacturers of the guns they work on, so they are the GO TO source when you need your guns worked on, fitted or repaired. They can also provide upgraded wood (INCREDIBLE stocks), upgraded replacement parts and replacement / additional barrels in various gauges for your gun. Need a new gun? They do that too! The bottom line is a gun from Cole will be better than you can find elsewhere and they can make your own gun better, too. No need to look anywhere else!

I have been interested in an SO5 for a number of years but they were generally out of my range. Recently, I saw a new SO5 with a headed stock blank at a great price at Coles. I called and was able to speak directly with Rich. I’m the first person to admit that I can be a real pain about details and questions but Rich could not have been nicer abut answering all my questions and asking me the right questions about the types of shooting I enjoy and the loads I typically shoot. Now I not only have a beautiful new SO5 but I have a gun that is the ideal combination of barrels and chokes in addition to a custom fitted stock. I can’t say enough about the fantastic service, selection and value at Coles.

I bought a beautiful wood set for my 686, the customer service was fast and friendly. Rich and his crew are definitely the go-to people for Beretta work but Id trust them with any shotgun related issues no matter the brand.

Visited the naples last march while the family was in marco for spring break. Love the store and everyone is more than willing to help you out with any questions you may have. While I did not make a purchase that trip, I plan to when we are down again next march.

Bought my new Perazzi MX2000 skeet gun from Rich. Couldnt be more happy, Rich measured me up, ordered the gun, came in 2 months early and fits perfect, just love it! In my opinion you would be foolish to go anywhere else! Rich is a master of his trade!!

Went to Coles branch at Sarasota Trap and Skeet to buy a shotgun. No doubt that Coles is a good gunsmith. But they wanted full retail plus the 3% credit card fee for a new Fabarms. Seems like the pricing should be more competitive so I will buy elsewhere. No one pays full retail for guns anymore.

I had my Berretta serviced by the team at Cole Gunsmithing. The service was excellent and the work was terrific. Specifically, I had one of the barrels on my O/U reshaped to accept chokes (I inadvertently dented the opening in my workshop). The communication from their team was a terrific and the price for service was affordable. I would highly recommend them for your repair needs.

I recently purchased a TSK stock for my son from Coles. I needed the stock sent ASAP as we were heading to a week of intense training and we wanted this in place before we left. Kelly was great and made sure it got out. But thats just the start. While at training we needed some custom modifications made. I was thinking wed be working through this for a few weeks. Without question Rich made the part and Jona worked miracles to get the part sent next day so my son was able to finish out his training with the right tool for his sport. Only one word for this company - OUTSTANDING! Over the past forty years I have purchased various guns from many companies and none have ever equaled the personalized service and attention we received from Jona and Rich Cole. While their store is over three hours from us, it is worth every moment of the drive there and back. When we picked up our grandsons new Beretta DT11, Rich took an extra amount of time to fine tune the gun and to make sure that it fit him perfectly. He checked the trigger pressure, the fit of the receiver, checked each and every part and then worked with my grandson on all of the fine points of the gun. Never had I experienced this type of attention on a gun purchase. On a recent trip back, their service on the gun was another outstanding experience. If you have not been to their new store you are in for a treat. You owe it to yourself to visit and talk with them before you make a major purchase - you will be glad you did.
