High-end golf at its finest with wide forgiving fairways and tees for any level player. You can also check out the televised Shark Shootout and CME Championships played on the Gold course here in December. You might even be able to caddie in the pro-am and get inside the ropes.

This is one of the best golf courses Ive ever golfed in terms of playability, ambiance, and the views are just spectacular. every hole is unique and different and provides a new challenge. Well I did not like being in the sand, I love the challenge of trying to hit out of the sand. The greens and fairways were in very good condition considering that this is June, and weve golfed all over Naples and this is by far the best of course. And I think youll really enjoy the squishy cushions on the golf carts. What I also really appreciate about this is that theres a shade actual shade. We golfed in the afternoon and we were able to have some respite in the shade.

Played Gold course recently and was surprised how worn the course was. I have played Black as well in the past and did not remember the course being burned out in as many spots as I experienced in the Gold course. We ended the round after 9 after seeing numerous nearby lightening bolts. There was no warning system to notify and clearly the lightening was just a few miles away. When asked about returning in the next day or two for the next 9, we were told no. Also, the rate for 9 is the same for 18, golfer be aware, so we paid for 18 but, only got to play 9.

Great course and great staff. Very friendly staff that was easy to talk to and helpful. Totally relaxed vibe for such a great course. Top notch everything. Golf carts were great, range was great, course was in awesome condition. And cant beat the twilight rate in October. Absolutely would play here again. Beautifully challenging course for a high handicapper, but lots of fun.

Played the course on 9/12 and it was $90 per person. Tee boxes and fairways were in good shape but the greens were horrible and super slow. We were cruising along when we ran into a 6-some from hole 14 on. They wouldn’t let our two-some play through so that added an hour to our round. Told the pro after and he didn’t care.

Walk along with your favorite players.. different options at 18 for shaded seating. Lexi represents us female golfers every year I have attended. It’s just a great day and I secretly love the SHARK...lol Boasts Stay and play accommodations, hosts a wedding or maybe a banquet. Pro shop worth a visit.

Phenomenal course & worth the $ if you want a course to challenge you (or in my case beat me up ;-) As you approach the valet club-drop area you are greeted by majestic palm trees and hospitable staff. The experience continues into the clubhouse that has several amenities. The foyer is classy, as are the outdoor practice areas and GPS equipped golf carts. Views on most holes are spectacular, as is the condition of the T-boxes, fairways, nasty-traps and greens. There’s a reason it’s a PGA Tour stop. Ps. Ritz Carlton is attached!

If I would say get one thing on the menu would definitely be the cheeseburger expensive however very good.

I have been getting lessons from Tom OBrien, now the director of golf instruction at Tiburon, for the past 10 years. He has been so helpful to my game and adds great value to the club overall. I know he has drawn many golfers to play and enjoy the great facilities of Tiburon because they all want to get a lesson with him. He really has a great understanding of the game and can help a player of any level improve and have fun.

Very nice facility with 2 golf courses. We played the Black course. The course was very nice and in great shape. Its a resort course and maybe thats why the greens seemed a little slow and the pace of play was slow as well. I believe the tour events that come to Tiburon are played on the Gold course. It is a nice facility and I do plan to return to play the Gold course.

The Ritz in Naples has the Tiburon course and it is absolutely phenomenal. We have been here multiple times. And each time they outdo themselves. We will continue to come back!! Their service is outstanding and all of the staff display Exemplar attitudes as well as service!! We highly recommend anyone to stay here... they are fabulous! We were only able to go off of the gold course today but it was in excellent shape although it was aerorated not that long ago. However our last time here we were able to do both the gold and the black. And they were in pristine condition. The black is very challenging but amazing. . If you do not hit the ball straight down the Fairway it will leak left or right into the pine needles. The gold was awesome beautiful not as challenging but it was a fabulous course. Thats why were back over and over!

I lived in Fort Myers, FL for a few years and had the opportunity to play the Tiburón Golf Club on several occasions. There were several memorable holes; the finishing holes on each side and the first hole on the Gold Course, a reachable par five. More on that in a bit. Another memory that stood out in my mind about the course was the rough, or lack thereof. As I recall, the grass was the same length, whether you were in the middle of the fairway or rolling off the side into a palmetto bush. Any type of hook or slice – which was my game at the time – usually meant reaching into the bag for another ball. It also led to long rounds of golf; sometimes 4 ½ - 5 hours. Trust me, you didn’t want to be the group behind us!That was about 7 or 8 years and several sets of clubs ago. A few months ago I had the opportunity to spend a couple of days at Tiburón and play both courses and my, how things have changed! There’s now a cut of rough which defines the fairways as well as areas around several greens where deeper Bahia rough has been recently planted and should fill in nicely before the 2020 season officially kicks off. For my money, both courses are a lot more playable and enjoyable. As you play your way around either course, you’ll encounter numerous and various hazards. Towering pines form the boundaries on several holes and are often surrounded by coquina shell waste areas. You’ll also need to play around or over water on at least 13 holes depending on how bad you spray it. Many of the greenside bunkers have stacked sod walls which look great and can be very penal, although I hit into one on the 9th hole of the Gold Course and it shot around and out the other side like the high banked ovals at Daytona!Of the two courses, the Gold Course is a little over 400 yards longer and can play a masochistic 7,382 yards, compared to 6,949 yards on the Black. However, the slope rating on the Gold is 137 vs 147 for the Black, making it considerably easier. There are enough sets of tees on each course that you’ll find a comfortable yardage regardless of your ability. The Gold Course opens with a short risk-reward par 5 with towering pines in play the entire hole. The hole doglegs slightly to the right before bending back to the left as it winds around a large lake. A good drive down the right half of the fairway will leave a manageable distance to the green but be warned, the green is surrounded by trouble. The closing holes on each nine are the most photographed on the course and evidenced by the signage near the tee boxes; the clubhouse and Ritz Carlton are in full view. They are both par 4s, with water in play off the tee on Number 9 and in play on your approach shot to the green on 18. There are also several sod walled bunkers around the green on 18. Par both of these and you’re probably shooting a pretty good round. The Black Course has a very distinctive look with its pine straw-lined fairways, crushed coquina waste areas and undulating greens nestled amidst acres of pine trees and native Florida foliage. The Black Course offers six sets of tees and is similar in design and beauty to the Gold Course. As you make your way around, you’ll find lush playing conditions and wonderful views. The green complexes can be penal and some of the bunker complexes are massive. Play around your way around the layout without finding a trap and you’ve accomplished something. The 9th hole is a par 5 that is a three-shot hole for most players. A tee shot that finds the fairway is a great start, but it’s just the beginning. You’ll need to hit a precise second shot, preferably in the middle of the fairway to have the best angle in to the green. Your approach shot will be over a large coquina shell waste area and a lake that protects the left side. Now that you’re skilled at playing over water, you’re ready to take on the par 3, 10th hole, that plays 188 yards from the back tees. A right-side pin placement can be tricky as it leaves only a sliver of green over a bunker. Par both of these holes and you’ve accomplished something!

My buddy and I golfed the Black Course while the Gold Course was undergoing maintenance for a few months. The Black Course was quite challenging but very enjoyable. The course itself was immaculate and definitely one of my favorites and I play around 90 rounds a year all over the place in the Midwest. The Black Course mustve opened a few weeks prior since there wasnt a divot to be found. The practice facilities are excellent and the clubhouse is gorgeous. The staff are also very welcoming as well. This is a course youll definitely want to play but be sure to keep your ball in the fairway or itll get ya.I wish I wouldve taken photos but I was too busy taking in the sights and trying not to lose too many golf balls.

However the reponses were short unhelpful answers, with an undertone of arrogance. Played here 3 times staff usually great. I had a very disappointing time here. I dont feel the staff was forthcoming with information about the course. I dont feel the pace of play was adjusted for having a female golfer. And they let us get out there on a day that was over 95 degrees with one water. Even after telling the person who set up my rented clubs that is be grabbing a couple drinks and a snack at the turn and he didnt say a word. (This course does not have a turn) it also has massive highway that separates the course which causes almost a half hour ride from the ninth hole back to the clubhouse in a cart. Had the staff actually given me information about what to expect I feel I would have had a very different experience. I would not recommend this course to someone who is looking for a nice golf day with a significant other. Its more for a group of guys who are hardcore golfers.

Amazing courses. The tee boxes are like fairways, the fairways like greens, and the greens are identical to the grass that exists in heaven. A ton of money is currently being pumped into course renovations on both the black and gold courses which will be extremely beneficial to the players. The golf carts are beyond comfortable with extremely plush seats. Electronic scorecards and GPS distances are visible from the golf carts attached Android tablets. These courses are both challenging, yet gettable. If your swing is on, expect great scores. If youre off, expect your score to be impacted. The gold course is home to the Greg Norman Shark Shootout and the LPGA CME, season ending tournament. If this course meets PGA and LPGA standards, itll meet yours too. Best of all, this is not a private course. The food is exceptional at the snack bar and even more impressive at Sydneys restaurant. The view from the 2nd floor outdoor seating area is spectacular. The Tiburon experience is a must for both Naples natives and vacationers.
