I judge a Mexican restaurant by the mole sauce and it was delicious. Guacamole made fresh with large portion. A pitcher of margueritas went well with the steak fajitas and chimichanga

This place used to be down the street from it current strip mall location, in its own building. Ive been to both places now and I do like this location better. Its not the greatest Mexican restaurant, but the service is fast, the food Okay and the employees very friendly. When we had dinner they had a mariachi band, nice touch. They had lots of stuff stored right up front, Im not sure why, it differently looked out of place. The margaritas were actually good. Maybe one pitcher two many! Good place to have dinner before going to the classic movie theater right next door. Happy eating

Seafood pineaple and Gulf of México

Went smack dab in the middle of their lunch buffet. The best part of it? The chips and salsa. Anything on the buffet that looked fresh and delicious was cold. Anything that was hot was dried out, stuck to the bottom of the pan and almost impossible to transfer to a plate. During the hour I was there, not one person tended to the buffet. Not one thing was even stirred.Take your $11 to El Famous Burrito.

We ate at Las Palmas for lunch and had their buffet special. Im not usually a fan of lunch buffets, but this one looked great. We were very happy with the choices on the buffet. The food was fresh and there were numerous different mexican dishes available. They even had hot wings, fried chicken, and fried fish available. It was well worth the $7.95 price for lunch!

The steak was really good. They had music and dancing after 10pm

This Las Palmas previously was down the street, on Ogden, and THEY MOVED. Just recently had a Grand Opening. The food & service is terrific. Im so glad the reopened...... and NEXT to Ogden Six movie theater so I can get great food and then see a movie. Love it!

Disappointed. Hopefully it was just an off day for whoever made the plantains. Plantains cant be eaten this burnt unfortunately.

Waited 2 hours for my food for pickup and never received it. Manager just kept saying 40 more minutes... 20 more minutes... we don’t have the order... ok we have the order, 40 more minutes. Complete waste of time and trash service. I will never recommend this place or go back.

This is a very nice place. Clean and neat. Extremely polite and courteous. The venue has a nice comfortable feel to it.

Beans are BAD. Wow.. what is going? are they burnt? have a terrible taste - what is up? otherwise, food is reasonable, but probably consider going elsewhere for the cost and quality. Nothing special here...

Will they last against the nearby competition?Besides Chipotle, there are two newer Mexican franchises with deep pockets, within 1/2 mile of them (plus two other family-owned places), all fighting for market share.If this place was the only place around, MAYBE theyd have a fighting chance but... the location isnt great (right next to a dollar store in a half-empty mall), plus neither the food or decor is amazing, and its not exactly a cheap place to eat so...If there were a deadpool on Mexican places within this 1/2 mile radius... the big franchises have deep pockets so they have a cushion while finding their customer base, so unfortunately Id bet on this one going belly-up first (sorry guys, and I hope Im wrong).

Hidden gem awesome food and service. I enjoyed the buffet and the horchata here is like ice cream like no other Ive tasted really good.

If I could give zero stars I would. This place is never busy for a good reason.Seems like purposely serve bad food and will not give a refund.The food I was served smelt like a fresh hot trash can.His excuse was its Tilapia, it smells that way.Unfriendly server that can barely speak English. Even worse manager.The entire restaurant has a strong smell of bad chemicals and half of it looks like its abandoned.This is a hole in the wall restaurant. Leave it that way by never visiting so this business can die the fast death it deserves.

They would not take my coupon. then then gave me a generic apology via email and said they wanted to make it right. sure, after they take my money and charge me full price and i have a useless local flavor voucher, months later, they still do NOTHING. I am NEVER going back and i know they moved from the big restaurant on ogden street to next to the movie theater. i hope they move again, MOVE AWAY and never come back. good bye and good riddance, i am never going back!

Not real authentic Mexican food in my perspective . Guys working we’re rude and pushy to order . Didn’t give much time to look over the menu. They didn’t make you feel welcome coming in . First and last time coming to Las Palmas .

I thought this place was closed down but it actually moved across in side the strip mall in the far back. I wish they would have been allowed to but a sign in the old place saying that. Missed the mexican buffet has some very good choices (at least when went) it was a Tuesday afternoon around 1or 2 buffet nice and stocked and the food nice and hot as it should be. The waiter kinda slow but very nice but the choices was good but not as many as you might be used to. But good.

Absolutely the WORST experience I’ve ever had! Waited 50 minutes for food that was served only warm and not hot. One meal was served on a chipped plate. Drinks were $2.75 each and the meals for what we got were way over priced. The rice was undercooked and was just inedible. This place only had 5 tables full and smelled just awful. Just run away from this place and DONT waste your time!

Very first time coming in and pleasantly surprised. The waiter was great, the buffet was better than expected, and over all was a very nice experience where I see myself not only coming back but recommending it to others who enjoy the buffet scene. Ill be trying the menu section next time Im in! Muy bien!

They recently moved from down the street. This is a much smaller joint. Had the lunch buffet for $9, a selection of dishes. Love the chicken soup! Quality OK, could be better though.

Quality of food per price...not good at all. My wife got flautas w/ been a and rice and I got the burrito. The flautas looked unappealing to me (she offered a taste & I said no). Edges of the flautas looked burnt from being made, stored, reheated & served to my wife. Like we say,Con hambre, no hay pan duro.No such thing as stale bread when youre hungry.Now my plate; the burrito. The flour tortilla tasted zesty. Like the brand Mission burrito flour tortillas that you can buy at Aldi or Walmart. The meat was under chard; probably thought that they could cover it up by adding extra greasy.Our drinks, I went w/ a basic pop that you pour out of the can so no problem there. Although, my wife ordered horchata and this showed me how lazy the crew is behind the line. When my wife took a sip of her horchata she coughed & told me that it was all powder. Yes, we sent it back & she settled w/ water. The cherry on top, when the brought our dinner entrees we waited 5 minutes for our utensils (fork and knife) before I got up & went to look for them myself. If youre starving and dont care for authenticity/quality come here. Other then that, go to the next Mexican restaurant.

Had the opportunity to have dinner at Las Palmas in Naperville. My wife and I both like steak fajitas so we decided to get the serving for two. While they were preparing our dish, we enjoy the chips and salsa. The chips were nice and thin with not too much salt; the salsa was also good, though a bit hotter than you find at many restaurants.The steak fajitas was excellent. It was served on a warmer, so it stay hot while we ate. This is the first time I’ve had fajitas that was made with mushrooms; it was a nice addition. The portion was very generous and we took home a good amount for another meal.We enjoyed our dinner at Las Palmas and would recommend it if you’re looking for some Mexican food on the north side of Naperville.

Im back after a long absence of a dining experience at Las Palmas. Im glad to find them at their new location. They have fine selections of buffet trays, tasty and good service. This is a must try restaurant, nice drinks too.

I cannot believe they served a torta on a hamburger bun! The ingredients were thrown together on there to where you could not distinguish what was what. Que verquenza!! If they cant a a simple torta right, then I dont know what.

The food is good, however its kind of cramped here and doesnt feel clean, the ambiance is slightly uncomfortable.... when it was across the street on Ogden it was a much more vibrant place and a lot more comfortable to dine there.

Was looking for a restaurant with TV to watch soccer, they not only had soccer but got to watched the bears at the same time. The buffet was very good, one of the (owners, with the beard and hat) was very courteous and kept bringing fresh dishes to the buffet. Chicharron, fajitas, arroz and refried beans con tortillas de harina was the bomb. Great price! I will definitely go back as soo as I can.

The food was good but the services was horrible! This is my 2nd time coming to this restaurant at its new location and this experience was not good. Today we had lunch at this restaurant. The fajita was the worst tasting I have ever tried. It came without any spices 1st. We send it back. Meat was very dry. Will not recommend it to anyone.

Good food at a good price. Very good lunch buffet with a large variety of the most common Mexican food. They have flautas, chiles rellenos, rice, beans and much more. Hard to find hidden by the classic cinema theaters.

We eat here a few times a month. Everyone there is so amazingly friendly(especially Nick our favorite server), the food is fantastic, and the drinks are amazing!
