Just play this golf course today. I used to be a member for 5 years havent play there in 3 and a 1/2 years. Decided to go play today and will never go back again. The golf course is in such pad shape that the sand traps are designated as a hazard and not to play out of them.They have red circles in front of them because they do not want you to try to shoot the ball out of what they are calling a sand trap. The greens and tee boxes have so much burnt grass on them that is very difficult to actually enjoy around a golf. Me and my dad played this golf course for 5 years as members now that the new owners are in they really dont care about the condition of the golf course. Its very very sad. This was one of the most pristine and gorgeous golf courses in Naperville now I would never go back

Great place for playing golf with friends.

Nice course layout, but sand traps need grooming/sand and cart paths need to be repaired. Also, pro-shop entrance & deck railing (bar/reztaurant) need pressure washing or sand blasting/painting.

I give it five stars if they managed the place better and did some proper maintenance on the sand traps. Its a good bang-for-the-buck course and with that said..... Incoming on the golfers that swing so poorly, it takes them more than 10 minutes to finish a hole. The rangers do not manage that part. Enough said to tell the average golfer about how long your rounds going to take right?

Inconsiderate golfers drive their carts on private property, tee off in our lawn, and urinate right in front of houses. As many times as weve called about these issues, its obvious management doesnt care at all.

Right off Route 59 with very fair prices throughout the day and even cheaper later on in the afternoon. Not a ton of trees but water instead. Worth the visit for sure.

In July 2020, Tamarack hosted our Inaugural Greater Chicagoland Club Championship. The staff and everyone involved were friendly and easy to work with. The course was in great shape, and played very well. Because of Covid, many left immediately following the round, but those that stayed dined on delicious food, and reasonably priced drinks. WTG Tamarack!!!

Nice challenging course and lots of water.

We have hosted band events for our high school for the past few years and have had a wonderful working relationship with the Tamarack catering department. They are very flexible and were able to meet all of our needs as requested. The food was fantastic, the service was great, and the club offers a beautiful view for outdoor photos and gathering as well as supurb efforts made to host a large group in the main banquet room. This year, due to Covid shutdowns, our event needed to be rescheduled, which the catering office and Taylor Anians in particular took care of with ease. She was very understanding of our desire to still host this event and worked with us to ensure that would happen. Unfortunately, our school district will not allow us to continue on with this event this summer due to ongoing virus concerns, and we needed to cancel. Per our contract, the deposit was non-refundable. I happened to ask if there was any way we could get back some of our deposit, and Taylor responded immediately with an absolutely and that they would be refunding us our entire deposit. This was above and beyond what they were obligated to do for our group, and it was so appreciated. I highly recommend this venue for your next event, and working with Taylor is a pleasure, she will take great care of you!

Called a day ahead of time to confirm that the course was open the following day. Was told it would be open. Book a 7:30AM tee time. Show up at 7:15AM. Place is closed. Waited til 8:30AM (at this time other customers have already pulled into the parking lot and have waited. They also have tee times). STILL CLOSED at 8:30AM!!!

Courses in great shape they dont need the cart path only rule the course is fine all you have to do is maintain common sense

The golf course is really nice. The clubhouse on the other hand has seen better days.If you are only interested in the quality of the fairways and greens then you will not be disappointed. Very nice and the prices are pretty good.

I hate to post a negative review about any golf course, but Tamarack has the feel of a course that is going out of business. Driving up the clubhouse had paint that was peeling off the siding. It was anything goes on the first tee (no starter), slow greens, muddy, hard, and not even raked sandtraps. It would not take much effort or money to have an outside person control the 1st tee, and have a ranger drive around and hand rake the sandtraps occasionally. And for a course that won best new course in 1989 the greens rolled like they had not been cut since 1989. Just bash your putter into the ball and aim at the hole. Shame, some decent par 4s on the course on the front 9.

Good course. Had a great time with my wife and son there. Fairways in good condition after lots of rain. Greens were good except that a lot of golfers do not repair ball marks. Overall very good public course with a very nice restaurant.

Course needs some TLC, big globs of freshly cut grass laying all over the fairway, side grass very long. Big chuck holes beside cart path, footprints all over the traps. Homes are beautiful, food is good, but course needs attention.

Had our wedding there a week ago and Jill was awesome! From the first day we booked any questions I had she will answer them.. fhe food was so good my guests loved it.. Jill and staff thank you for everything!!

Good Golf for the price!

Location is great, but course needs maintenance. The recent ownership change has been good for the GC. Better dynamic pricing, now they need to mow it more often. Also pls provide drinkable water, the well water in the cooler is only good for wetting the towels!!Course is challenging and has lots of variety.Has been very slow in the evenings.

Okay service at the desk. No ranger to control traffic. Poor tee box condition. Not enough info on hole info signs. You get what you pay for. Good place to get into hobby since its cheap.

Course was in very good condition. Greens were a little slow due to aeriation with in past few weeks. Challenging course and plenty of traps and water, if you spray your shots. Very reasonable greens fees, especially during the week. Also offers senior special during the week, $29.00 and includes food from menue. Drinks extra. Great deal.

Great breakfast buffet today at the golf course. Good food and fun. Nice and Friendly staff. Saw golfers on the course enjoying themselves. Too bad Santa was unfriendly and not engaging at all with the kids unless the kids themselves or parents initiated it. Sad when there are some kids with special needs there to talk with santa and give him a letter of their wishes only to say “ok I’ll see what I can do” or “ok”....or no comment at all. What happened to the jolly ol Santa all kids wanna see?! Management handled it very well I must say, encouraged Santa to be more responsive and even let the kids eat free. Thank you.

Was not impressed with the buffet. Some of the food was kept out too long.

Inexpensive with reservations. Not a bad golf course if You can handle the slow play by the group in front of You. Inexperienced or non caring golfers dominated Our round. Maybe just bad timing on Our part. Might try again with no fault to the Staff.

Its a good facility to host events.

Very easy on wallet, good greens, fun layout, but not for sllicers. Water on right on 16 holes. If you never played get the yardage book, it helps save strokes, and with club selection.

Tamarack is a pretty challenging golf course with water in play on a lot of holes. The course is typically in pretty good shape and the greens are big.
