Bell Wine Cellars

Our host was phenomenal! He was very accommodating and friendly. This was our first stop, and at the end of the day we all loved this place the most!

Superb experience, beautiful grounds, and Mike is wonderful! Bell Cellars came highly recommended by another tasting room as I love cabernet. Mike is incredibly knowledgeable and a pleasure to have explaining the wines and answering our questions about the area in general. He hung out with us at our table right next to the vineyard - gorgeous, fun, and learned so much!

This is by far the best and the most educational wine tasting experience we had. I have been here twice in different groups and more than satisfied both times. The host carefully assessed what we know through casual conversations and gave tours about exactly what we wanted to know. The host (Marc, by the way, was very knowledgeable about wine making in the entire Napa valley) even briefly took us to the vineyard to show how the grapes were ready to get harvested. How seriously this winery cares about different clones of Cabernet Sauvignon and wine making in this area in general is definitely worth hearing about!!!

Been club members for several years - love these wines and such great value - in a world where wine prices have gotten a little crazy.

Excellent winery and the nicest / most knowledgeable winemaker!

We came to this winery as the first stop on a tour and it was our favorite wine of all the ones we visited. Even our driver, Jim, when I fretted about buying wine at our first stop told me that it was the place I should def. spend my money. The man who did the tastings was super knowledgeable and we really enjoyed all we learned about the regions and varieties of grapes. Ill be back here again for sure!

Darren was a wonderful host and taught us so much about wine and the napa region. The wines were also fantastic. I highly recommend a visit here!

This is a beautiful winery with arguably some of the best wines in Napa. From the time we arrived to the time we left, Jan treated us like royalty. He was fun and knowledgeable as he walked us through the process. We learned a lot and enjoyed the whole experience. And the wines! Oh the wines! They were probably the best wines Ive ever had. Unfortunately, this was also the very first Napa winery I ever visited so the rest needed to live up to this one. A difficult task indeed. I would go back to Napa just to visit Bell Wine Cellars again! Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience here. I forget the name of our host, but he had only been at the winery for about a week. After visiting maybe 50 Napa wineries, I can say our host gave us the most useful and accessible information for our knowledge level that I’ve ever experienced. The wine was great and it was a super personal experience. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

I visited Bell Wine Cellars with some co-workers and we had a wonderful experience. In addition to the wine being delicious, our Guest Relations Ambassador, John Helfrick, was amazing! He gave us a great tour and was very knowledgeable about the winery, wine making and of course all of the wine we were trying. He made us laugh and made sure we had a great time. It was like wine tasting with a friend rather than an employee. He made our experience at Bell very memorable, and I highly recommend all visitors ask for him when visiting. For great wine and a great wine tasting experience, I highly recommend John and Bell Wine Cellars.

Ask for Victoria she was fabulous! I loved this winery. Very elegant wines, beautiful flavor and excellent atmosphere. I really enjoyed the educational aspect of all of the wines we tried and the history of the winery was so neat. Thank you Victoria!! Highly recommend this winery.

Bell was the last winery we visited on our Napa trip, but I am sure we will be back. The tasting with John was wonderful! He was very knowledgable, friendly, and answered all of our questions. We truly enjoyed our time with John and having the tasting outside next to the vines. Excellent wine. We joined the club, ordered some extra bottles and are looking forward to cracking open a bottle in our first of many shipments! Cant wait to return and visit again. Truly felt at home. 5 stars!

Best Wine tasting experience during our trip to Napa, highly recommend

Absolutely amazing. This was the first winery that my family and I visited. After going to a few others, it was a pleasure to start out and have such a high expectation. We had the wine tasting experience with four different wines, cheese and crackers. The best part was the employee. He was extremely knowledgeable, was not pushy like some other wineries were, and even let us see some vats of how they made it. Overall, this is the one you visit after the others just for experience.

We attended the “Grape to Glass” tour here - it was such an enjoyable experience! It starts out with a walk in the vineyard, an overview of the processing machinery, the barrel room, and then a tasting. They pair various red wines (the Clone 6 is amazing!) with delicious, high quality cheeses. The winery employee was super knowledgeable and so nice. Highly recommend for anyone who is interested in learning more about the wine making process and tasting some great wine!

We had a fun time at the bell winery with John. It was our first wine tour so we dont have a base to compare to, but it was a nice mix of picturesque views, winery tour, and tasting session. The wines were good and the tour was fun.

Phenomenal. Great wines, great people. We had a very relaxed and informative tour. Our favorite out of the 7 wineries visited this week.

Great place !!! The staff was so friendly. We went there for the cheese pairing and it was fabulous. They have bocce courts and a great outdoor area!

I found this to be a top level tasting comprising exceptional wines, a visit to the barrel room and vineyard. Melanie was an authority on Bell wines and the evolution of winemaking in the Napa. This is a must visit winery for lovers of cabernet savignon - nirvana!
