Hadwen House

The house looks much more grand on the outside than the inside, but its an interesting quick stop to get a better sense of Nantucket history. Its also on probably the handsomest residential street in Nantucket, so theres no reason not to walk over and see it. But, it is a fairly typical house museum, so you probably shouldnt expect to see anything you havent seen before at other old houses. Be sure to check out the nice garden in the back of the house.

When on Nantucket take the tour through the mansions. Great history stories.

We stumbled on to the sculpture gardens just wandering the streets of Nantucket, and what a delightful surprise it was!
