The dj talks to much and doesnt let the music play in peace

Best place for dancing if you dont feel like going way out to boise, great atmosphere and good drink specials

Awkwardly witnessed a catfight...totally turned off. But then we got a free round so all is well....

Luna Blu is the most nightclubish bar in Nampa. Its beautifully lit, has lovely blue lighting, quality drinks, fair prices, lots of seating and is very clean. We dropped by at 10pm for their dancing and live DJ (because no other space in Nampa offers this) and the music was ear drums bursting LOUD. Our group of 8 went from celebrating a party to having no ability to communicate verbally because we literally could not hear ourselves think. The DJ also added a touch of fog machine to the unbearable music. The place was so fogged up we could barley breathe. It was disappointing that the only non smoking bar in downtown was filled with synthetic fog. And NO ONE in the building was dancing. The music genre being played was combative and had a negative undertone. I mean play something up beat, that gets people out of their comfort zones and having a good time, connecting, not mind numbing Rap that made it feel like a bar fight was going to erupt at any moment. There is also an issue of safety with the fog, the blasting music and the negative vibes of everyone there feeding off the energy of the overwhelmingly loud music. Theres incredible old school rap, rock, Michael Jackson, newer age artist you name it that could have been played and creating a great energy in this well put together nightclub. This business was an extension of the Destination 112 which closed earlier this year due to lack of customers. They seem to have stepped up the visual representation of the business and its stunning but they have the same issues, to loud of music, weird preference like gassing their customers and a crowd that feels like it will erupt into violence at any moment. There is also only one pool table. All in all this is prolly a decent spot to drop into early in the night, but it gets pretty unsafe in my book after 10 and with the current nature of domestic attacks on nightclubs across the country It feels to negative and unsafe to justify bringing people I care about and enjoy here.

I agree with the above review. The music was so loud I walked out at the end of the night with a huge headache and a hoarse voice from having to shout just to make conversation. Decent place but just way too loud.
