Its so fun to have a roller skating rinkThey really need better pizza... even if it cost the customer more trust me that pizza is nasty and outdated unflavored trash. The staff is so friendly and awesome! Really happy nampa has something like this for the community

Going to the roller drome as a child and going to the roller drome as an adult has been almost identical experience one of the best times always creating memories and always having a good experience thank you for having this establishment put together well and the cleanliness is very good they checked us at the door and it was very professional

Wow this place is awesome. Dave works there and is the best I was here today and Im going tomorrow. They are so friendly and kind there. Dave helped me step by step. Im not saying Im a pro now but Im definitely better now because of him. I totally recommend this place.

The floor is not perfect, but that makes it allowable to enjoy relaxed rules with the advantages that go along with that. You can bring your own skates and even strollers.

A blast from the past! This place is historic to Nampa and they keep it alive; it was hopping! The DJ was lively and engaging- super great with the kids. The parking lot could use a facelift, but overall a great time and the community is lucky to have it!

I dont ever leave reviews for businesses, good or bad. Im typically one of those people that reads reviews and makes decisions based off reviews. But, for some reason felt compelled to leave a review for Rollerdrome, a place Ive been going to for over 35 years now. This is place is fantastic and hasnt changed much since I was a kid! Everything from the staff to the rink. I bring my family here (wife and two sons) once or twice a week and we ALWAYS have a good time and get a great workout in. Staff is excellent, especially Vicky, and the rink is world class. I love the wooden floor...its truly like no other, and they do an amazing job keeping it up. It gets a little busy on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, but thats to be expected. Rarely, however, do I ever feel like its too crowded. If youre looking for a fun and affordable family activity, this is it. Id also recommend having your kids check out to the beginner speed skating classes they offer on Saturday mornings at noon. They get to work with Vicky as well as some of the kids from the speed skating team.

Second birthday party we have had there and they always kill it. Absolute blast, love this place.

This is a serious throwback to the old school! I had a really fun time putting roller skates back on after probably 25 years! The staff was really nice and kept things entertaining with games once in a while, like limbo and name that song for a free italian soda! What a fun date night.

Came here for a birthday party and the kids had a blast! You dont have to wear a mask but they do take your temperature when you walk in.

It was roomy and not too busy when we went there with some first timers. The workers were helpful. The only downside was some really good skaters found joy in making my group of first timers lose their balance and fall several times.

It was a fun little outing with the kids. It is a little run down but that almost brings nostalgia to it. Prices were reasonable. Staff were as friendly as roller rink staff typically are.

Everybody loves this place !!! My family and friends have been going to skate there, for decades, and now take their kids and grandkids to have fun, real fun. You can also have a birthday party at the rink, there is a room for the celebration, and they set up the party for you, with all of the amenities like the decorations, serving the cake and ice cream, games for the kids, and all of the clean up after the party. You do need to reserve the room and the the cost includes being able to take everyone skating for the afternoon too. I highly recommend it. The kids get exercise, and have a great time too. Good family fun!

This place never gets old. They have been putting smiles on faces for years and years. I hope they stay around for many more.

Celebrated our daughters 13th birthday here. It was great, Toni/Tony(?) the party host, was awesome. She did it all; served pizza, cake, soda, treats, we sat back and didnt have to do a thing. Definitely worth the price of the party. Good times, thanks, Rollerdrome!

This place reminds me of the skating rink I grew up going to. The floor is still in great shape. The staff is always friendly.

This place is awesome! Still looks the same as it did during my younger years. Some remodeling has been done though. Admission price I feel may be more than when I use to go. I believe it is $8 per person and $1 to $2 for the skate rental.They do have a food court area where you can purchase different snacks. Prices are reasonable and food is just ok. Keep in mind there is no food or drink allowed in to the facilities and no food or drink can leave their food area.My favorite addition is the glow in the dark section. They sell glow sticks, light up necklaces, light up pacifiers, light up everything! They also sell skates if you are interested in that. Again, this section is reasonably priced and a big hit with the kids.Overall, a great experience and perfect for families wanting to have some fun locally and on a budget. My son definitely enjoyed his time here with his friends so we will for sure be returning.

Their pretzels were extremely hard like rocks and it took us forever to get our food and they dont have most of my favorite songs and they dont pay back money that we deserved after buying food here. Your basic family fun spot that more folks should try. Brings back so many memories from when I was a kid, and a chance to update em with my kids. And the price is right too. They have so many options to try different types of skates, from traditional to inline. They have a assortment of refreshments, snacks and hot food. The facility may be a bit dated, but remember it has been in operation since 1948! So Id give them slack verses a newly built facility. Its got to be tough keeping operational costs down, equipment up kept, staffing, etc. This is also a great option for birthday parties, and weve celebrated several here over the years. Lots of classes and the calendar is packed with all sorts of activities. The staff are super nice and helpful, even with such a wide variety of customers and experience levels. Its apparent they have lots of heart and dedication. To sum up, they might be rough in a couple areas, but loosen up and give them a try!

Best place EVER!!

There arent many options in town nowadays for rollerskating. The one thats left standing is the Rollerdrome. The kids absolutely love this place. With the limbo and races each time theyre there, they know what to expect and have a blast while getting some good exercise. As an adult, I enjoy the nostalgia of it all. It seems like the place really hasnt changed at all in the last 40 years... and its perfect. The music is updated and the outfits have changed, but its still rolling around in a loop while trying not to fall, with the occasional holding hands with someone you love. Great place for birthdays or just family fun.

For the most part my experience here was good, but there was this lady wearing glasses with her hair tied up with a ribbon working concessions that was EXREMELY rude. there was someone that had cursed and she had shouted to everyone as a whole to stop, which i didnt think anything of because i hadnt said a bad word. she didnt say anything to anyone about the incident again until my friend and i got up the the counter. she proceeded to say she didnt know who did it, but then accused me because she said it was my voice she heard. and i tried to tell her it wasnt me, but she kept insisting, so i walked away. i went back later in hopes of finally getting my drink and my cousin asked her what happened. she then mumbled under her breath and continued to accuse me of attacking her when i was calmly explaining that i hadnt said the word. as i started explaining again she said okay karen and slammed the door to the back room. she also felt the need to tell me she hated her job and i asked if that made her need to take it out on the guests and she said when they take it out on me first. this was not the only problem, either. she was wiping down tables and my aunt had asked her if she wanted them to move so she could wipe our table as well. the worker responded in a rude tone no its fine and stormed off the the back room and slammed the other door. she is rude unnecessarily and does not treat her work place properly. she is immature and most likely should not be working with people, let alone children.

Its outdated and kinda dirty. The rollerblades were really old and the buckles didnt work but it was a step back in time and a fun time.

Giving it a five only because of the memories spent here growing up and now taking my kid.. but that being said. They need to update the rental skates. Probably 20 plus year old skates .

I bought a coupon 10 visits for $20 from seize the deal. The day I redeemed it I used 4 punches, that same day I ended up losing the voucher. When I went to roller drome to get another for my 6 punches they would not honor it even though I had a receipt. They said there’s no way to tell how many punches I used. I asked for my 6 remaining punches not 10, if I was lying I would have asked for 10. It’s $12, it’s very petty on their part. Luckily seize the deal is awesome and credited me the remaining punches. They are an awesome company.The customer is always right is dead and we are all lying thieves according to roller drome.

Great rink with an original maple hardwood floor. Its older but well maintained. I have gone to this rink since I was a kid and I enjoy taking my own little kiddo there as well.

I went there for a friends birthday party and there costumer service was horrible !! There pretzels were very hard and there bags of Cotten candy had like none inside the bag!! There DJ refused to take my song request that didnt have bad words but I was rap he said “ we can’t play this song cause we can’t play rap music “ then a rap song came up after the song before. I wouldn’t recommend rollerdrome, go to treasure valley skate they have better service.

Ive been coming here since I was 8 years old. Now Im bringing my kids and feeling all sentimental. The staff are fun and friendly (except for that ONE a-hole who you can tell has just thrown it in the f-ket bucket... but Im not going to let him ruin it for everyone else whos keeping a cheerful attitude by taking a star away.) and work hard for everyone to have fun!Thank you for hanging in there for 30+ years!

A classic place for the family. We enjoyed skating here and it brought back many memories for me as a child. The prices were fairly inexpensive which was a bonus.

This was a super fun place for me and my friends and family to go! Its great for group activities, parties, family gatherings. Just a around a really fun roller rink. They have really good discounts too, so watch for those! The staff is really great too! We had a problem with another guest there. A guy was just looking for a fight and threatened us with a few things. But we let the staff know, and they talked to the guy and told us that they wouldnt let him come to their facility again. So theyre super good at keeping everyone safe and happy. Great facility, great staff! Would recommend!

Fun for the kids but it is a bit outdated and the staff is sometimes awkward

Its very old and smells of skate leather, oil, and sweat. Its just the way an old skating rink should be. Very great nostalgic atmosphere.Would be 5 stars if it werent for some signs that reflect a very u friendly attitude. One said we couldnt leave and reenter, though staff told us we could, despite to stamp or bracelet system. Their attitude was totally welcoming, but some signs didnt reflect that.

Good place and I think the prices were reasonable. Only real complaint I could make was the food service was really poor (they ignored my son when he went to check on his order). And the game room is kind of a joke. But you go for the skating and that part is totally fine.

Always enjoy roller skating here the rink is old but well maintained. I cant skate like I used to but nobody cares, just good wholesome fun. Plus great calorie burn sign said 600 in an hour.

Great for kids?!

My five year old loves it she did won the race last week for her age group and then she was in the Championships! I think were going to take her more for learning how to speed skate!

Love skating here really fun and staff are awesome to rely on and the food is awesome i like how they have lights and music i recommend this place if you need to get out of the house and has some fun for a really great deal.

The staff are super friendly and helpful. The rink doesnt look huge at first but its just fine for all of the skaters without being too crowded. Plenty of wall space for support for those of us who havent been on skates for, um, 20+ years. Eating area seems a little questionable, doesnt seem particularly clean but prices are decent for snacks. Overall our family had a great experience. Pro tip, do NOT leave your stuff out for even a minute though while you get a locker. We did and came back to find somebody rummaging through our stuff on their way out the door, had idea.

Me & family havent laughed so hard in a long while. I would have given 5 stars had it not been for an extremely rude teenage boy, that is apparently the only one allowed to wear headphones. Continuously knocked little ones down. Knocked down my autistic son. When it was brought up to staff the older bald guy did nothing and instead blamed my son! Needless to say i confronted him and a manager heard. Only at that point did they go get the kid. and instead of handling themselves they had me speak to him where he continuously tripped over his lies and fake apologies. This kid should have been reprimanded and asked to leave at the very least. They would be wise to hire a more responsive staff that ensures family safety FIRST, rather than have special rules for friends.

Great place to take the kiddos. Couple things though lights are too bright no strobe lights going on. And the admission got more expensive plus they also charge for skates on top of that. I grew up in Nampa it never was like that before. It was ok.

Fun roller rink. Ive been twice and it really has that retro vibe you would expect from a roller rink. Very friendly to people that have never roller skated or roller blades before with railing going all the way around. Rentals for roller blades and skates are also offered here. A pretty solid choice for some weekend fun!

The Rollerdrome is an affordable day of fun for the whole family...especially if you use a Groupon! They offer a variety of games to keep each session interesting including limbo and speed skating. A small food area sells nachos, drinks, candy and burgers.

Over priced for what it is. The guy on the Mic likes to hear himself so he doesnt shut up long enough for you to enjoy it. Rental skates smell awful. Wont be returning

It was the worst time Ive ever had rollerskating. Rollerblades were broken I asked for a different pair because I couldnt lace them up all the way due to a broken eyelit they gave me a second pair same thing I asked if they had a bigger size they said no. Then they asked if i could wrap the laces around my leg or use duct tape i said no. Terrible customer service my daughters skates wouldnt stay because velcro was gone she kept falling because they would fall off I asked for a different pair a guy that works there handed me a different skate and I wasnt aware that they were adjustable I held them both up and the guy takes it out of my hand rolls his eyes slides them apart and didnt say oh hey let me help you or anything. I will never go back to that place. Nancy was very helpful she tried making it right but I was not impressed. Try spending some of that money you guys make on equipment and less on other unimportant things

Fun skating with too many breaks to do activities that only a few can participate in. 30 min to skate wait 20 minutes then you can skate againTo update this review we came back on a Sunday and it was much better. There was free skate the whole time and my daughter loved it

One of my neighbors kids refused to skate after Id already paid for his first time skating. The staff was gracious enough to refund his admission and mine even though they didnt have to. THIS is what A+ customer service is. The kid eventually came around and I repaid his entry. He is now a skating addict and he nagged his mom to take him back.

This place is very fun I go every year and I look forward to it. They play great music but if you dont enjoy skating or you are looking to meet pleople this is not the place. It is a family oriented place more than a singles people place.
