I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Frauenthal Staff and all the attention to detail they put into our wedding, especially Heather, the even manager. It was by far the most space, for the most reasonable amount of money and they made it so easy for my other vendors to work with them, so there was minimal stress. Theyre not just great for shows, they are able to assist you in putting on wonderful events!

A truly beautiful old building to see a play or hear the orchestra in. Love the old architecture.That being said the seating is a nightmare. The seats are so tightly packed together that the airlines are jealous. There is no room on either side or in front of you. The seats are also uncomfortable. The decor could also use some updating.Overall Im giving 3 stars. I considered 2, but the architecture and history saves it. Would I return? No. Too tight for me.

This theater is just amazing. The interior has been beautifully restored and it feels like youre walking back in time when you see a show there. We sat in the balcony and it didnt feel like we were far away from the stage at all. I dont know if theres a bad seat in the place, ours were great. The acoustics are also very good, will definitely start watching for more shows to see here.

Only issue I had was the seats were tiny but its an old and beautiful venue I absolutely loved the show.

Muskegon frauenthal theater holds United States largest singing Christmas tree

I love the history this place represents. I love that it brings people to downtown Muskegon. Plus I love the Singing Christmas tree being held there!

What a GEM! Great acoustics, flawlessly renovated. The gilding in the building is darling. Go to Muskegon just to visit this performing arts center... And then get a great BBQ down the street...

Always top notch entertainment here. Muskegons orchestra is over 80 years strong, and can compete with any larger town. The Frauenthal is probably the prettiest venue in Michigan, actually prettier than any venue in Chicago, even. Rich in history, and oh so beautiful. The acoustics are absolutely perfect. Enjoy! ALSO, FREE PARKING. How cool is that?

What a awesome experience tonight viewing the movie The Black Man touching on the lives of positive men in our community...so glad my son got to see that your skin color doesnt and shouldnt limit what and who you can be!!! Shout out to all the participants spme i know personally so powerful!!!

A magical place for the audience as well as the performer, the Frauenthal Center is beautiful and well run. Theres always something happening and its right here in Muskegon! It is special.

Some of the best shows I have ever been to were here. Two of my daughters have performed in concerts here. My youngest daughter loves to look at the architecture everytime we go. So beautiful! The staff have always been very helpful and friendly. Great for a family night, girls night out, date night, or even just a night away from chores and responsibilities. The environment is very elegant. You dont have to dress up, but sometimes it is fun to get all dolled up before going to see a show.

The theater is small and intimate, which is really nice,. However, the seats are really tight so youd better have someone next to you that you really want to be cozy with.

Incredible place for a wedding!! We thoroughly enjoyed our day - great prices, we had the entire two days to ourselves, staff was helpful, Heather was amazing and so great to work with, easy communication, worked with my vendors so my day was totally stress-free! We used the ballrooms and the art gallery area, with our ready rooms in the theater dressing rooms. Lots of great photo ops in walking distance, and the space was so versatile. Heather took all my needs and requests and made them a reality in ways better than I even imagined, from floor plans to bar estimates to seating arrangements, and answered all my questions! I would highly recommend this location! Thank you!

Beautiful restored theater. Comfortable seating and great acoustics!! Attended two concerts there this year and both events sounded great. The staff is very friendly and accommodating with volunteer ushers to take you to your seats. The concession items are reasonably priced should you need a snack or drink. I look forward to attending another event at that venue.

Beautiful!Came here for the first time Christmas 2018 for my daughters performance with Mona Shores High Schools choir for the Singing Christmas Tree. The performance was incredible and both the choir and the Frauenthal Center exceeded expectations.

An original and wonderful place to enjoy the modern arts.

Watching a performance in this theater is absolutely amazing. I have been here on numerous occasions attending a performance as well as performing. The seating is comfortable, and the performance space is like none other. I hope to perform here many more times as well as attend performances.

I visited the Frauenthal center first time and inside was beautiful it made me feel like I went back in time. On how theatres looked like with William Shakespeare and the English era when kings and queens had there private seats on the balconies of the theatre; it was like being at the theatre plays watching everyone perform there part on stage.

Beautiful space. I am part of a BNI group that meets in the Hilt building on the 3rd floor. The ballroom has beautiful wood floors, and chandeliers with a gorgeous view of the ships in the harbor.

Worked here on multiple occasions, its a beautiful venue. Great new meets old architecture concept going on here.Stop by and catch a play or concert, I highly recommend this venue for anyone in or around the Muskegon area.

Our first time here. What a wonderful place! We totally enjoyed the symphony, choirs and Christmas music.

The entertainment was excellent! We saw a magic show with real lions!The restaurant down below is very nice, and the Ahi tuna was wonderful as well!Very reasonably priced.We were pleasantly surprised!

The staff was great. It is the system that is broken. To allow up to 20 tickets per online order seems excessive while those of us standing a long slow line watch the available tickets disappear. This wonderful event always sells out and a broader audience would love to see it but tickets sales need more regulation to accomplish this broader diversity.
