Saulsbury Bridge Recreation Area

Nice little hidden gem. Tent sites on the banks of the cedar river. Primitive tent sites that you have to walk a trail 50 yards or so to get to. Main camp ground for rvs. Cedar river sites have a no water restroom house, 6 stalls. The chicken creek has a boat ramp for kayaks and such. Much more calm than the cedar river. Main camp has a clean bathroom with water and 4 nice showers. Very pleased. Will return. Dont know if there are reservations allowed, as this particular weekend was 1st come 1st serve.

This is my favorite campground in the area. It has huge sites, good shade, trails, fishing, biking. Be ready for mosquitoes though.

Awesome place to Camp. You can be right on the water if youd like. The only minor detail I would improve is the restrooms. They are pretty bad. Fix that and youve got five stars.

Fantastically beautiful! Playground needs an update, minor issue though. Come here for the rural park!

Usually fish here but today it was packed with canoes. Oh well still a wonderful place

A wonderful place to go camping very quiet very safe the staff is extremely helpful and keeps the restrooms extremely clean. Couldnt ask more from a campground and and the park rangers. There are free Wednesdays and Saturdays if you have extended Camp needs this is the place to do it at inexpensive $5 bundles of wood and just a beautiful place to train your dog walk your dog in the woods or enjoy the river if you like to fish

Decent building. Nice location.

Needs updated. Seems like it hasnt changed since I was a kid. I think its the same toilet seats. The camping site are just grass and a fire ring. Pretty bland.

If you love camping and fishing,this is a great place to go.

Large recreation and natural area with many trails, fishing and hunting.

Grew up with park and a lot has changed over the years.Various picnic and grill areas as well as a new bridge,boat landing and fishing pier.Clean,modern restroom facilities,access to Chicken Creek and Cedar River for anglers,DNR frequently hosts outdoor hikes,canoe trips and learning activities for the entire family.Modern campgrounds with electrical as well as tent camping are available as well.
