My mother decided to have her kitchen chairs reupholstered. The chairs are formal with wrapped legs and a skirt around the bottom. Mom wanted the same look in a different fabric. Deneen did such a fantastic job in a very timely manner. She is wonderful to work with. Highly recommend!

I brought two antique Louis VX giltwood chairs to Daneen that had been messed up by a previous upholsterer. I was so impressed with Daneens knowledge of her craft! She is also an artist, so her artistic eye in using details and elements that would complement the style of the chairs was amazing. And not only are the chairs gorgeous, she restored the seats and they are extremely comfortable as well! Daneen completed both chairs in record time and she was very patient when I would send her photos of various fabrics and asked her questions about the process. I have looked for years to find a competent upholsterer and have found one in Daneen! I was so impressed Ive already dropped off three more chairs for her to work on. I highly recommend her work to anyone.

You can tell the owner poors her heart and soul into this place. Each time you visit there is something new, unique, and amazing that is sure to catch your eye. I simply can’t get enough!

So many beautiful, contemporary, eclectic, and funky finds. There is truly something for everyone one there!! And you can even meet the artists as they often stop in to swap out or update items being sold as well as to teach classes!

I love shopping for gifts at Deneen’s store. While I was admiring the art work I discovered that the artists often come in and give classes. I LOVE taking art classes! No experience necessary, all levels of creativity enjoy, everyone takes away their own creation and no two look alike. Win win!

Yesterday bought an 80 dollar item. Discovered too large for my application, like 1/2 inch. Less than 24 hours later I sought to Exchange my item for a lesser priced item and purchase yet another item to assist in the decor. Shop owner refused. Yes, my fault for not paying closer attention to sign says all sales final. However this would have been exchange not return. Says her consignors are paid Immediately and therefore no means for exchanges. So I donated the item back to her shop so someone rush in. Hopefully it’s on sale! I learned $80 lesson and will avoid shops such as this in future. Seems like pleasant people just horrific business practice. I.e. customers needs not important

One of my favorite places in the Boro

The curb appeal of this store immediately caught my eye. There were so many unique items available for purchase and I especially liked the representation of local products and artisans. I have sent several friends there to shop and they all have loved it as much as myself. My latest purchase is an antique hutch that Deneen custom painted using her own line of paint, Country Chic. She made this piece totally gel with my contemporary style.

This is my new favorite shop in town, a great place to find gifts for hard-to-shop-for people. I get compliments on the jewelry I purchased there every time I wear any. The owner/operator is always nice and helpful. Good luck getting this kind of service at any chain store.

Love this store! I wanted to decorate my house in the Fixer Upper style so I purchased a reclaimed wood dining table, a bookshelf and she even repurposed some of my old furniture to make it useful again. Good prices and even better customer service.

After a wonderful lesson in painting techniques and products from Deneen, we took on painting our dinning room set. She even took the time to show us how using the different waxes will give a look with more depth and antiqued like we wanted. Our tables and chairs are truly stunning with the Country Chic Simplicity. This paint was super easy to work with and that quart lasted forever. I know this set will be cherished for many years and that was possible with Deneens help and knowledge. Go see her for your next project!

Classes are great! Gifts and home items are varied and imaginative!

We used chalk style flat paint (two color- distressed) on an old Rock Maple varnished kitchen table, leaves (2 leaves), 4 spindle ladden chairs...2 with arms, and an old telephone table (also distressed) . We looked at new kitchen sets but the construction of them was pretty poor while the prices were very high. We are not small people... so, using this 40 year old set both in quality and size for the kitchen/dining area was the right choice. D was such a big help in the whole process. I recommend her as a color and design specialist! She did a wonderful job with a difficult project. Thanks D for handling the entire thing from paint selection, through finishing reviews, to extra coats on top! Nice. .
