I just had my first curbside pickup yesterday. The men was very good, but some of the food lacked seasoning - especially the catfish which had no flavor (it was supposed to be blackened). the gumbo, on the other hand, was the BEST that I have ever had. All things considered, it was well worth the $15, and I will definitely try it again.

Ive been here for so many different events from weddings to birthday and holiday parties. The food is great...love the lemon rice soup. The staff is very accommodating and friendly.

The Center is a very good place to have Sunday brunch with friends or family. The restaurant is large and can accommodate any size group. However, you may want to make a reservation if you are a large group. There is a buffet for savory food that includes a carving and omlette station. There is a separate dessert table. Each area offered a wide variety of dishes. Wine is included with the meal. A pianist also helped create a very nice atmosphere.

Love to go at least once year for a scrumptious brunch spread! Desserts are decadent and you can enjoy a Mimosa with your meal as a great treat. A little expensive but worth it. You can see a show after 2PM on sundays right after the brunch too.

Ive had the pleasure of coming to the Center For Visual & Performing Arts in Munster Indiana. The space is beautiful, very clean and welcoming. They have plays here and different events as well. My daughters elementary school held an arts competition there and recently the Red Cross held a blood drive there. There is also a gift shop inside with goodies to eat and drink and beautiful jewelry and knick knacks. Whether youre trying to attend a show or looking for a venue to hold your event I would tell you to check them out!

The Center is a great place to go for live theater. They have good quality shows for decent prices and every seat has a good view.

My wife and I attended a Sunday brunch and it was excellent. We were seated right next to the pianist and the food was great. Theres nothing like this in Northwest Indiana, I highly recommend!

Seating is perfect no matter where you sit in the theater for stage performances. Wish there were signs outside the doors to note which entrance was which. Ex: Entrance A B C D etc...

I had my wedding here in August and it was beautiful. The venue was super satisfactory, the food was excellent and Lily who was my venue coordinator was excellent. I highly recommend this venue.

Great place for Art Gallery. Theatre. Art Classes. Sunday brunch. Many special events. Gift Shop with many interesting items priced reasonable.

The brunch was better tasting than I was expecting. The staff was very friendly and our waitress, Gracie, was very helpful.

Interesting place; kinda like a mix between a Greek diner and BBQ joint.We tried the ribs and pulled pork. The flavor was really good and did was not overpowered by smokiness like some places. Meat came with a healthy amount of BBQ sauce and was served pretty quick. My only gripes were the tables were sticky and cashier had some questionable hygiene; glad she wasnt preparing the food.

The Center is one of Northwest Indianas great escapes. Very family friendly oriented place. They offer dinner & theater, art, concerts(classical, jazz, folk, etc.), exhibits, art/craft classes, etc. for all ages, prices are great for the entire family. They also have World class art shows/exhibits, from local to iconic world renown artists. Their annual art competitions are my favorites. Most art exhibits are free, most days(contact for details). Open most days(except on major holidays), prices for individual shows, dining and memberships(sign up for their quarterly magazine) are the best among Chicagoland entertainment venues. Valet, and ample self parking. Disability accessable. Minutes from main interstates, safe, quiet, friendly Community. You can tell I like this place.

Seen many a show there, its a hidden gem, I recently went there to donate blood during the. ABC 7 blood drive for the red cross, ill be going back there to see some great plays soon !

Very enjoyable Sunday brunch. Meats from the carving station were delicious, as were the desserts. Would have appreciated a custom omelette station, but I can understand how that could slow things down. Staff were friendly. Odd seating arrangements for large parties; they put two large, circular tables together. Would be nice if they had large rectangular tables. The restrooms need changing tables; there was a bench in a mens room, but it has a fabric top that cannot be adequately cleaned. One mens room did not have a changing table at all.

I enjoy this venue, their Sunday brunch is amazing and well worth the price along with their bottomless mimosas.The staff is amazing and very attentive. They are incredibly personable and work hard to give you a great experience each time.

Held my mothers 90th bday party. We sat 58 for sunday brunch. Chef Joe and his entire staff work with us to make this party fabulous. Everyone in our party said how amazing the food was, great selection of items. Great waitstaff

Brunch is so so definitely not worth the price. Food was cold and tasteless. You can get a better breakfast almost anywhere else around. Not too many lunch choicesCold roast beef and fried chicken. Skip this place.

Went for a wedding. The ceremony was outside. It was perfect. The reception ballroom was absolutely beautiful!!

My husband and I absolutely love this place! We always bring our friends and out of town guest here. Very classy and the food is fabulous! Excellent place for brunch and other functions like wedding receptions and baby showers as well!

I was there for a banquet. The food was fresh, warm and delicious. I didnt get a chance to tour the facility but what I did see was clean decorated nicely. The employees were very pleasant, friendly and helpful.

The buffet was delicious and the show was outstanding.

I went to the buffet and it was excellent. But my wife is diabetic and there was not much to choose from for her.

If you want a GREAT wedding, have it at the Center of Visual and Performing Arts in Munster! The staff was amazing: they listened to what we wanted and made suggestions that we loved. From helping us to plan the details of the reception down to the attention given by the wait staff, they all went out of their way to make it perfect. We had the Italian buffet, and Chef Joe was great to work with. Everyone has been talking about how good the food was. The elegant setting and the charming staff provided us with a beautiful and lasting memory of our daughter and new son-in-law’s wedding.

Various artistic activities and performances.

I love bringing groups here. The food is always good and so is the staff. When Charlie comes and greets the groups he is so warm and friendly. I always get a hug from him. He is always happy to see us!!!

Beautiful Venue and Great food!

The center was great at first. All of a sudden go back and the place is completely shut down. Without any notice at all. Go figure. They took my money and ran with it.

A beautiful place to visit and enjoy live entertainment

Shows are mostly curated to entertain the very old or the very young. Not much for the large age demographic in the middle or very much in the way of diversity, but the performances tend to be good quality.

Great place for plays and brunch.

Attended a retirement party here...its a great venue for hosting such events as weddings & receptions, etc. The food was tasty ( it was family style) staff were friendly, fast and efficient. Definitely someplace to consider if you have an upcoming event.

Food was cold, roast beef over cooked, not worth the price.

Not the great place it used to be fir brunch, but still pretty solid. There is always something surprisingly good on the table. Lastly is was fish sticks....no....not your Mrs. Pauls....but real slices of Cid battered and fried. They were delicious!

I received my first impression of the school through a man producing wonderful music on a violin at my local grocery store in Hammond, IN.. Upon checkout, I approached the sponsor table for more information. The very first thing that comes out of the mouth of the man (hefty and balding) sitting between two others behind the table was, Would you like to make a donation to the School of the Performing Arts?. He asks this while my hand is reaching for the flyer right at my fingertips. When my answer is giving politely, but not to his liking, he snapped off and felt the need to inform that the flyer I was reaching for was for music instructors only. I found this very rude, off-putting, and condescending considering this man didnt know a thing about me but was projecting his personal judgment into the situation. If that was the case of me projecting my opinion on him I would have judged he was a garbage man. So, in a nutshell, the violin performance that initially drew me to the sponsor table was wonderful. However, the speaking representatives of the organization left much to be desired. The were really just begging for money and were obvious about it, getting upset when that request was denied.

For the brunch buffet. Have not seen a show here yet.
