Had my kids birthday party at Lakeside. Kids had a great time. There were very careful about social distancing the kids in the party room.

Gone are the days when bowling alleys were smoky, dingy and loud establishments and this set of lanes is proof! We visited late morning mid-week, they got our lane set up for kids to play (ie automatic bumpers and a dragon ramp) so fast I could hardly believe it. Also thanks to Keith for announcing great job to my 4 year old daughter over the intercom, that made her feel so special! This place is super clean, well-priced, balls well organized by weight and the arcade area looks full of new fun games! Ill definitely be back with the whole family.

Great place to take the family bowling! The entertainment center has been recently renovated and made so many great changes! They also have a fun laser tag as a fun add on.

Friendly & professional personnel. Lanes, restrooms & adjacent areas well maintained.

Great place to grab a lane and knock down some pins! Make sure to visit Keith at the bar

The staff here is the best. My daughter and I go there somewhat often and they are very accommodating and make it enjoyable.

This place has great bowling alleys and fun arcades and Lazer tag, if you ever decide to come here, when you leave you wont regret going.

The renovations made to this alley have been fantastic. Great staff. Had a lot of fun.

Amazing place! John is literally awesome all the time. Such a well put together place. 10/10 the best family center in mundeilon.

The bowling alley is a fun place to bowl. Along with this, there is an arcade with prizes and buyable food.

Excellent lane conditions to practice various lines and tune game. House is very clean and bright with diligent counter and staff. Also the house choice of top bowling coach, Bill Spigner, to train and coach all skill levels.

Fun family place. Lanes were well taken care of.

They need more marketing materials to promote their awesome renovation. The place looks great, they now have Lazer tag!!!! Video gaming for kids and adults. Their food can improve and it should, we ordered pizzas, wings, and nachos. It wasnt as tasty as I had hoped for.

Great bowling. Lazer tag video games!

We went for a Birthday party and had a great time. The price was very affordable and they had a lot to offer. The staff was very nice and the pizza was amazing!!!

Okay this place is okay great when it comes to bowling. But when they hire a new guy they dont seem to be able to train them very well. My husband and our friend went to bowl and they ran our card said it was declined when we have money on it. Then the new hire didnt give my husband and our friend the right amount of games. So my husband had to pay again. Not cool lakes not cool.

The staff is always super friendly. Affordable and good food

Bright, clean and modern after their major revamp. Bowling, laser tag, and arcade all excellent. Very friendly, and active in the community.

Really well done renovation. Always friendly

Ive bowled here since I was in my early teens (some seventeen years ago), and Ive always enjoyed the atmosphere. The staff are helpful when you need them, the facilities are clean, and recent upgrades (such as the addition of laser tag and upgraded lane surfaces) make this a high class alley.Unfortunately, they recently switched to preparing for games. I imagine people were running out on the check before, so to speak, so I understand the shift. You can add onto the number of games you play as you go, though, so it really isnt that big of a deal.

Very nice place! I love that they have literally local Mundelein brewery beer ... and its good !!!

Great local bowling alley. Something for everyone, young and old. Laser tag and bowling, lessons and slots! Program for older bowlers is very good $1.50 per game!

Bowling and laser tag are fun, arcade is cool too

I bowled in the USBC womens tournament at Lakeside. The employees were friendly. The lane conditions were good and the equipment was in good working order. It was a nice center.

As soon as we entered it was a bit busy, but staff handled it really well. They were really friendly when we got them to order. Will definitely come back!!

I loved the birthday party that my friend had there, very well organized. Children were very happy.

This is a really nice family oriented local business. Great place to go on winter break and they have afternoon New Year’s Eve Party for families.

Updated modern facility...24 lanes available.

Had a great bowling, decent prices, very friendly staff!

Were had a good family laser tag match - facility is fine, but the staff managing our laser tag game was not very welcoming/ friendly

Sad we didnt have so much of a pleasant experience, location was great very clean. Staff member was very rude when we arrived we were not greeted or asked how he could help. Went to ask if they sold food and turned down because he had to take care of the bar.... When there was clearly other employees to help out. Upon leaving my husband thanked him and no response or gesture and my toddler daughter said goodbye with no response either.

Fun place to bowl! Arcade is small.

They need to update thier website to show when laser tag and arcade is open. Wanted to try something new and now I have 2 disappointed kids and scrambling to figure out what else to do. Should have just went to rinkside in gurnee in the first place.

Bowling was fun. A little expensive, but worth it. The lanes got stuck once, so not five stars, but still fun and worth the price.

Good alley, always oil right before league play. Rockeys pro shop inside. Very knowledgeable about new bowling technology bought a new ball with shoes and had it drilled right there. Provides lessons as well

Great center for bowling but nearly $50 just to bowl for an hour!

Talk about clean! The kids that work there are respectful and friendly! The older bald headed older 40 something counter guy was rude and mean to my daughter! He costed this business 5 stars!!! Will return! Great prices!

Friendly atmosphere with nice lanes. $9 pitchers of beer good too

Great bartender, Keith. Clean, non-smoking

Awesome time here!

Counter staff members were helpful and the bartender was amazing. Very much recommended this place.

Nice place and friendly staff. We paid for an hour and they gave us 10 minutes free so the kids could finish their game

We held our sons birthday party here, and it was fantastic! We had family members of all ages attend and everyone had a great time. We will definitely be going back!

The guy behind the counter was very rude and ignored our questions. The carpets, tables, shoes were dirty. The fries we shared smelled of stale fat. 3 stars only because the bowling lanes were so good. We will find another place to bowl.

Good place. Nice people. Clean facility, and good bbn bowling.

Ive been going here for years, and I love it. They recently updated everything, and added arcade games and laser tag. The staff have always been awesome- especially Tom, who works at the front desk. This is definitely my favorite bowling alley.

This place is awesome especially with Sunday promotion. Its cheap and fun.

Nice place to enjoy time with family

This place reminded me of a neighborhood bowling alley

Stopped in when it wasnt busy, got some attitude from the employees, would maybe find another bowling alley before this one

Bowling was as expected, pizza and wings were good.

The new look is amazing. The Lazer Tag is great. Arcade is fun. Food is good. The staff is friendly.

A good hometown bowling, bar, night out, and party place. They have kept up with the times and keep improving.

Friendly helpful happy staff, super clean, and all mechanicals work flawlessly. One of my favorite indoor recreational facilities in Lake Co

Great clean bowling alley with a friendly staff

I had my bday there its was the best time I ever had and the people good to but one problem was a bald dude there at the front desk that was trying to hit on my mom I do not like the bald dude at all he need to be check on and you guys really should have military discount so thats all my problems with you guys for everything else good.

Dont judge this place by its facade. Its stunning inside. Had a blast here.

Had a birthday gathering for our 5 year old grandson. All the kids loved it, and this place is bright and family friendly.

Theyve made massive improvements since I was a kid. The place is awesome now. Love it.

Really nice staff working here. The outside looks older but the lanes and digital score keepers are great! There is more inside that what it seems on the outside.

Pretty cool place to get together and do some bowling. It was my first time here with my boyfriend celebrating our 3 year anniversary, we enjoyed our time here.

Lot of enjoyment + good quality snacks +nice service.i appriciate.you need to visit for nice experience !

Ok lanes are great. very clean ball return was lighting fast. the arcade sucks it is overpriced. lanes have malfunctioned many times often slowing our games down but the staff are great.

Lakeside Lanes hosted our Christmas party this year and we had a blast. They set us up with a private room, bowling, and catering. They were super accommodating and helped make it a great experience. I would recommend working with them.

Great experience. Recently updated with laser tag and new game room. Friendly staff and easy parking.

They run a great league. I have two boys in leagues there and they love it!

Awsome place for family to have fun together

Was nice to see new updates to my old bowling alley. Sad there wasnt enough people to actually enjoy the laser tag.

Terrible. I will never come back. The owner of this establishment should treat his employees better. Everything was a mess. Staff was upset with management also. Waste of money and everything was half ass. The party hostess is the only reason we stayed. We will never come back.

Very friendly helpful staff. Nice local bowling alley with laser tag and arcade. Ive only been bowling here.

No wait for lanes on a Saturday night. Balls are organized by weight, which was nice. We ordered pitchers of blue moon with orange slices too for our individual cups.

Laser tag and bowling with good food and drinks. Super friendly staff!!

Fun place for everyone!! Great prices.

They have great weekend bowling packages, its clean and theres a snack bar too. The staff is very friendly and helpful!

What a great way to spend a Friday night, they have laser tag, bowling and arcade games.

Awesome place to go bowling or to play some good redemption games. But froday nights are hard to get a lane

Recently updated lanes, bowlers area, and scorers are great. New redemption games and laser tag. Very active owner operator and friendly staff. Active in youth leagues if you want to get your kids into bowling.

I have always been going there for leagues and to bowl/play pool! I would always order food and have a great time. This is a nice place to bowl and even though i may not have hit a 300 in bowling there, I may have been there 300 times!

The seats are cramped and uncomfortable. Not a great place to socialize. However, the lanes were clean and working smoothly.

Nice bowling alley. Friendly staff. Decent drafts @ the bar.

Reasonable prices daily, and usually have specials. Call ahead to make sure its not a league night. They have a sock machine, which has come in handy before.

I like the new renovations. Family friendly place with quality bumpers for the kids and a nice arcade.

Great lanes. Always. A great family night!

Much nicer than I expected considering the location. Very clean with friendly staff.

We have been neighbors for over 22 years. Illinois State Insurance. Thank you for the customers. Great bowling Alley

Everyone is nice, its cheap, and so much fun!

Awesome new arcade and Lazer tag, cheap to bowl and a great option for birthday parties with the new renovations complete.

Something for everyone! Plenty of games and a lot of space for parties and events.

Great place

Keith the bar tender is awesome, nice, friendly and quick to serve.

Had a fun time and the place has a nice atmosphere.

Great family place

Very friendly staff and fun family activities!

Nice lanes and friendly

Nice lanes, table set-up a bit ackward

Great place to spend afternoon. They are in processor adding laser tag and redemption games.

Fun place. Great with the grandkids

Clean, family friendly place to visit.
