Very high quality productions and with a newly renovated facility it is a great experience

I actually came to this theater for church and it was pretty decent. The service was good and the people were welcoming. I thought the message was valuable. It centered around how an individual cannot follow God and hate another person. After the service was over, you could get coffee and conversation in the lobby. I liked my visit and the venue of the church. The theater itself is simply beautiful, and I count myself fortunate to have visited it!

I went here to see Matilda, and let me tell you. They didnt disappoint with the acting. Wonderful voices, wonderful choreography, everything. I plan to come here again for the music man in June. Even though I go to this place often, I always seem amazed at this place. If you are around the Muncie area, I recommend that you check out something playing there at that time ^^

Small opening space walking in. And concession stand could have more options. However it was a great experience to watch there theatrical play.

Intimate theater with great acoustics and visuals. Production of Matilda was great. The headmistress was fantastic. Go see a show. You wont be disappointed.

What a wonderful little gem this place turned out to be. The performance of The Lion,The Witch and The Wardrobe was great. We will be going back as soon as possible. If you havent been, make the time to go. Its more than worth the price of the ticket.

Amazing experience! Check ratings of shows- some could lose the language and be just as amazing!!! Love the colors, technology, actors/actresses and am left in wonder and amazement everytime I see a show!!! I love bringing the whole family and enjoying the show!

This is a local gem. Excellent live musicals and theater with local talent as well as talent from nearby Ball State University. Great prices for shows and concessions. Muncie is lucky to have such a great theatre!

Fantastic little theatre! The entire building has been recently renovated and looks incredible. For a small town performance theatre, they really put a lot of effort into the outcome. We have seen numerous performances here and have loved each one! The attention to detail in props and costumes, as well as the focus of capturing the audiences attention, make every experience memorable.

Its always a five-star experience at Muncie Civic Theatre. The production was delightful and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful.

This was my first time to this theater. I saw Matilda, it was fun and I enjoyed the play.

I have been involved as a back stage crew member and I have went and watched the productions, both mainstage and studio. It was a wonderful experience and I met so many great people. I would strongly recommend participation in whatever way you believe is best for you!

Big River was beautifully done. Beer, wine, and snacks available. The amount of talent at this show is truely a hidden gem in Muncie.

This renovated community theater is an amazing building. This is local community theater, not broadway, but many times weve been to shows where we were really blown away by the talent and show quality.Muncie civic also has a robust childrens theater program with many junior shows throughout the year where kids can learn more about theater and perform in the shows.This is a cultural gem in the heart of downtown Muncie and if your are new or old to the community, it is worth visiting.

The updates are coming along nicely. Definitely enjoy local theater. Upstairs balcony railing is not up to code and definitely not safe for kids. Great performance!Update: Railing has been updated and is see through for maximum viewing. Bravo!

We left at intermission. It was torture to stay that long. The great play was murdered by bad microphones, bad singers and poor directions. Only the facility was worth the drive from Anderson.

Muncie Civic Theatre is great! Being involved in plays is the most fun I have ever experienced! Going to the theatre is an exciting thing to do. I want to continue in the theatre for the rest of my life.

Kinda old but the history in this place is seen throughout the whole building so it makes the whole experience better

Went there today just to look around during the auditions for Lion King Jr. I was in several productions in past years and wanted to see the improvements. The theatre looked Great. Im considering trying out for Ursula in The Little Mermaid later this month.

First time. We seen Charolettes Web. Wasnt in the main area but a much smaller side area. So, we didnt get to explore the new interior. But, the cast and performance by the kids in Charolettes web were amazing!! Would recommend small children on hay bales and taller adults in back. Great time!

Gem of downtown Muncie. Community Theatre in a 125 year old historic building. Tickets are VERY reasonable and the quality of the shows is good - in addition to them being done by local, volunteer talent. Try it out!
