I attended CalColor a while back and had a great learning experience. I learned a lot​ and CalColor helped me catch up on the techniques that were later used in my school project and etc. They also have great summer school. Teachers are very helpful and caring towards the kids. They also bring the kids to ​museum​s and offer fun activities/projects that attracts everyone. (Good presentation, good teaching skills, tbh, they really try their best to help each individual achieve more in the field of art).

Friendly staff, Interesting curriculum, my kid has had lots of fun here! Their summer camp has cool projects, tasty lunch and park break, my kid loves it!

My daughter was 7 year old and we moved from other States. We tried three art classes and chose CalColor Academy finally since they give the kids freedom to use their imagination and they also give them the template (subject, style and example) so that kids have a start point to explore their imagination. My daughter enjoys the class very much. Every semester, they have well settled curriculum. They give kids opportunities to explore various styles of art, for example, oil painting, watercolor painting and clay etc.. The staff are friendly and responsive. Mr. Charles is very patient, he is her favorite teacher now.

We started to take art exploration class at CalColor from Sept 2017. This is the first art class for my 4.5 years old daughter. She always enjoys the class and comes home with a finished work. I can see her improvement gradually.Ms. Kristen is excellent. I love how she interacts with kids in the class. I also love the curriculum she designed for the 4-5 year old class. She teaches skills as well as aesthetics. She teaches kids to use various kinds of art tools for painting.Outside the classroom learning, we also enjoyed the Cantor art museum tour and the outdoor drawing offered by CalColor.The facility is clean and neat. The customer service team is very helpful and efficient.We will continue our art journey with CalColor. I highly recommend CalColor!

My kid just finished the first quarter at CalColor and she really enjoyed the class! She always look forward to her art class on Sundays. It’s amazing that she learned to express herself by drawings and paintings. Their curriculum is well designed and my kid loves her teacher Ms. Kristen!The principal is very passionate about her school and the girl at the front desk is always smiling and super helpful when we need to schedule a makeup class. Great team and great school! They’ve organized a few free field trips which were also very educational and beneficial to the parents! We enrolled again for next quarter and really looking to the new adventures next year! Good job CalColor!

I have tried several art studios for my 5 year old twins before deciding to go with CalColor Mountain View. I like their custom service, treating you like family, welcoming any suggestion and feedback. Importantly both my kids and I like Ms. Kristen, she is very nice, kind and professional, patient with kids, listens to them and allows kids to speak out what they think. I always want to keep kids imagination as well as creativity in art, not just follow and copy what teacher says. I think this is also what CalColor is unique about.

My 5 years-old has been attending the exploration class since last August and she really enjoyed it. Ms. Kristen is very patient and my daughter loves her very much. We could see her progress each week. We especially liked the one and half hours class length. She did a big project every week and it truly helped build her confidence and interests in arts.

My son started to learn art here right after this art school opened its mountain view site after several years in Fremont with good reputation. We did the trail and my son loved it. The curriculum is combined with skills and appreciation of master piece. His teacher is absolutely awesome and the staff is very nice. Now we are about to start our 2nd session of class.

Ms. Kristen and her classes are perfectly designed for young kids. She is very passionate of teaching kids and very patient of guiding them with various materials. The class is usually 90 mins. Kids are encouraged to finish a independent project during the time. It is amazing how each kid could paint differently with their own creation.

We tried a few studios for our 4 and half year old boy. We feel CalColor is the best match for little kids of his age. The exploration class at CalColor is well-organized, fun, and well-prepared. Our son loves his teacher Ms. Kristen!

It has truly been a pleasure getting to know CalColor . My six year old daughter was attending cal color mountain view school for 3 month . My child has done a very nice job this quarter, taking pride in her work and completing assignments homework. She has made great progress since the beginning of the school term. She loves her teacher Miss Kristen, she is vey nice, kind and friendly . Love CalColor five star.

My 4.5 years old daughter is in exploration class. She tried art class in different studios and chose CalColor to attend because she likes Ms. Kristen. :) Ms. Kristen is a really patient and nice teacher who is good at teaching those young age kids. As a parent, Im satisfied with CalColors curriculum which provides multiple ways of art to kids for exploration.

Best art curriculum! Kids tried different drawing tools: color pencil, oil pastel, ink pen, gel pen, oil painting, water color, clay, craft, even salt painting. Teachers are all super nice.

My daughter started her classes @ CalColor since last fall; she was almost 5. I was hesitant to send her to drawing classes, as I knew many art courses teaching children how to draw similar, or nearly identical to works artist created, but at the meantime eliminates kids creativity. My daughter was at a stage full of creativity, but barely skills; Id like to have her catch up with skills, and preserve/promote creativity. A friend introduced us to Calcolor, we tried one class, and decided instantly to enroll in the rest of fall semester.The director, Ms. Lan is passionate about art education; the curriculum is very well designed - every class, an famous artist and her/his work is introduce to kids; kid learn basic idea of skills, and create their own masterpiece. Its a small class with a maximum of 8 children, where kids get a lot of personal attention, which helps with developing creativity and imagination, while having fun.My daughters teacher, Ms.Kristen is very kind and patient to young kids, always smile. My daughter likes her a lot!

The teachers in schools are very patient and nice. The teaching style is what I am looking for, combing teaching techniques and leading the kids being creative! My kids like to go to classes very much!!!

I highly recommend Calcolor. The founder and teachers are great educators who make real effort to trigger students’ interest in arts. I also want to highlight that their top notch customer service that is rare to find.

Our 5 year old has been attending their weekend exploration class for a quarter and he absolutely loves it. Ms. Kristen is best and we also like the museum tour offered by the school. It is quite an experience to tour the art museum with the teacher!

My kid is seven years old and she is in foundation calss. She experienced different kinds of painting styles and she enjoyed it. The teachers here are nice and professional, and the staffs are friendly.

My 7&5 year olds both like drawing but were a little afraid to take classes as they were afraid the teachers may think they are not good enough (experience from their preschool/after school art classes). We went for trial last weekend and after one class both were excited and begged me to sign up and come back! My younger one is in the exploration class and older in the fundamentals class. I was impressed what they were able to do in one class. The 5 year old who just started to draw things I can recognize was able to follow instructions and drew a couple of super cute penguins all by herself! The classrooms have large glass windows for the parents to watch if you choose to stay. Several parents also just drop off and come up to pick up.

CalColors Mountain View location is a new addition to this great art school, and to the Mountain View San Antonio neighborhood!I am amazed at how kids learned new skills every class and are excited to practice at home too. The 1.5 hours drop off class also gave us some time to rest during the busy weekends.The facility is new and the staff are friendly. Highly recommend this place to anyone with young kids.

My 8th grade son took the digital art class in Mountain View location and really enjoyed it. This is a new site since their Fremont site success. Calcolor has a good system to manage the student enrollment and make up request. The teacher and owner are well inform parents on the progress of the students. My son enjoys to learn the drawing tool and software. The teacher is very patient and target for individual learning experience. My son will continue his spring semester with Calcolor.

It’s an amazing art school, which could lead my little girl to keep her passion on the art!
