We have stayed in Morro Bay countless times at various hotels. To be honest, NONE measure up to the friendliness of the staff. The free champagne if you’re celebrating something special like an anniversary.Don’t thing twice, book it before the next mam or woman does :)Anyway, thanks again and the Traveling Beasts will definitely be back in the near future.When we do it will be for more like 5-7 days!

Very clean, good sanitization, although I wiped down everything with a wipe when I entered the room just to be sure, a pleasant experience overall, good location, comfortable bed.

Fabulous place to stay. They’ve thought of everything. Champagne was offered when we checked in. Hand sanitizers and water bottles were placed in the room for our convenience. Beds, sheets and towels were superior quality. Highly recommend for a romantic getaway with amazing views!

We booked a weekend getaway for our anniversary and stayed in the Oceanview room and loved it. The view was great, there’s a nice little balcony overlooking the harbor. The place was very clean and the bed was so comfortable. Service was great and even the in-room coffee was high quality. We will definitely stay again.

This hotel is the best in Morro Bay. From the customer service down to the high quality bedding. The view is outstanding. This to me is a four star Hotel and above. Never disappointed. Second time to have the pleasure to stay. If you want to get away for a special occasion or just want to escape alone for a very relaxing, comfortable night. Felt so good I felt like i was spoiling myself. Can’t wait to come back. Much needed escape from reality.

Honest opinion is this hotel is my favorite hotel I have stayed at in Morro Bay. The staff here is very polite, and friendly. The rooms are extremely nice and have amazing views! To top it off you get a complementary bottle of champagne with your room. Excellent service and a beautiful room with a balcony. Made for a great weekend, would definitely recommend staying here. Wow, what an amazing place to stay in Morro Bay!!! We booked our 2 night stay here with our teenagers based on its waterfront location and fantastic customer reviews and we were certainly not disappointed. Our two teens occupied the Marine suite because they each needed their own queen bed and they were quite thrilled by their spacious waterfront accommodation! It was an impressively luxurious and large space. My husband and I occupied the Morro Rock suite which was the furthest back from the water upper unit, but still had a fantastic view of the rock. Our suite was smaller than the kids handicap accessible suite, but it was plenty spacious for us and very well appointed. I like that every suite has a fire place and a nice counter area with a fridge, microwave and sink. You can easily prepare your coffee and simple breakfast in the room and I really appreciated both the fridge and microwave which we used daily (especially during this time of Covid when the guest breakfast room is temporarily closed, understandably). Our patio had 2 chairs and a small table that we enjoyed sitting on in the evening and have a glass of wine and watch the sun set. Another option was a nice bar with 4 stools on the second level facing the water front where we could sit and have wine, or our breakfast or a take away dinner. An additional waterfront option for outside is a lovely gathering area down by the dock with several Adirondack chairs and a couple of bistro tables and chairs, but we didn’t get a chance to enjoy that area. I like the choice that fir such a small Inn, we had multiple choices for enjoying the outdoors to relax. One evening for dinner we got take away from the American Fish company (which I recommend for eating!) and used the nice bistro table with 4 chairs in the kids suite to have a lovely waterfront view for dinner yet in the comfort of our accommodation and safe from Covid exposure. I loved the VERY comfortable bed and pillows at this Inn and the shower water pressure and quick hot water were superb. All the staff who work here are so nice, genuine and welcoming, they were certainly a very positive part of our stay and are sincerely interested in their guests comfort and good experience. The owners daughter, Katie, who works also at the Estero Sports (who we rented one of their electric boats to toodle around the harbor, worth every penny!) located on the property, was also very concerned that we were happy and having a great time. The location of this Inn was also desirable being waterfront and a little at the southern end of the tiny waterfront district of Morro Bay. Within a couple minutes walk are multiple restaurants and bakeries to choose from for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our teens liked having a little independence to walk in the mornings and get cinnamon rolls or other baked goods for breakfast. Our only regret with Estero Inn is that we didn’t stay one more night, which would’ve been perfect. We can’t wait to return here and hope to before too long, it’s just such a special Inn and such a special place to be!

New ownership, freshly remodeled, the Estero Inn exceeded our expectations. Clean rooms with spectacular views of the Bay and amazing sunsets. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The hot breakfast every morning was a nice treat while watching sea otters float by. We rented one of their electric pontoon boats and toured the Bay. That was amazing and one of the highlights of the weekend. My wife and I will definitely return to the Estero Inn.

I did not stay here but due to the customer service I received I never would. When someone goes on vacation it is to relax which is even more difficult now with COVID. Trying to plan a trip is nearly impossible. Cancellation policies but not pertain to pandemics. We were driving down the coast and needed to get home immediately. There was no other option and the owner of the Estero Inn only cared that I was canceling two days prior to my reservation and not that other family matters needed to be addressed urgently.I am grateful for this pandemic to bring to light the places I am willing and wanting to provide my business. Customer services>views everytime for me.

This is a small inn that looks like it has been remodeled recently. Our room had a fireplace. All rooms have some kind of view from what I could see. The bathroom was very nice. The room itself had a sink and bar area. The bed is very comfortable and the whole place was clean and lovely.Upon check in we were taken to our room personally, given water and sparkling wine. There are plenty of good restaurants in walking distance. The staff is friendly and helpful.A small menu for a sit down breakfast is included and very nice. Overall a great place to stay.

The view was amazing! Watching the sunset and sunrise from our balcony was beautiful! Everyone that helped us was amazing. Breakfast was yummy! I couldn’t say anything bad about The Estero Inn!

Beautiful and magical place to relax and set your worries free! Rooms are set up in romantic escapes, with champagne, chocolates, roses, and a beautiful greeting on your bed. You will see a decorative creative swan that is neatly hand-folded in towels. The fireplace and the view if the ocean is absolutely exquisite! Ocean waves, sea breeze, sea lions, otters, seagles, are the sounds you hear! Love here, would recommend anyone here to stay!

We got into town very late. The staff was very nice and accommodating. They left our information/room key in the lock box. They do have an elevator, which was helpful with our luggage. The views of the bay were nice and we loved hearing the seals in the morning. They did have a minimal continental breakfast provided. Room was updated and had everything we needed. Would stay there again if we were in the area. Good place to stay for the price.

Absolutely spectacular location, service and room. The staff were exceptional & extremely helpful, the breakfast has everything you could want and is fresh. The location on the water has a cracking view of the Morro Bay (Rock).

Eight years after staying there, we still have such wonderful memories - the views, the rock, the seals, the boats. And, of course, the comfortable rooms and outstanding breakfasts.

This is a heavenly, romantic getaway for anyone visiting Morro Bay! All of the rooms are unique and have balconies and fireplaces. You are right on the water, the only way to get closer is to get in ocean lol. The rooms are lovely, with a large soaking tub, mini fridge and microwave, and the bed is large and very comfortable. The tv is large, but youll probably spend most of the time outside watching the otters and sea lions swim past your balcony. The staff is very kind and greeted us with a complimentary bottle of champagne with two flutes. Ooh and the fuzzy robes in the room are so comfortable to keep you warm on the balcony as the sun sets. I would highly recommend this place and will certainly be back!

I love this hotel and location️ We had a beautiful view of the rock. We had a sweet Otter on the dock showing off with cute stretches and grooming. The staff was attentive and friendly Check in with John was smooth and Michelle was amazing at breakfast Yummy The Room was beautiful and comfortable after a long trip from Big Sur down the coast. I am returning again this week ️️

Loved this place. Super clean, comfy bed, great room, amazing views over the bay. Great staff too! Its at the end of the waterfront so its in a quiet position but still in walking distance to everything else. The included breakfast was cooked on order and was delicious! Theres also a water activities and boat renting facility. Ill definitely come back. Highly recommended!

Wonderful little getaway right on the water

I dont want anyone to discover this unique hotel. I want to keep this gem all to myself. So I hate having to write this review, but I must, because this hotel is so delightful that I dont know how to say enough good things about it. Everything is thought out beautifully. I couldnt use any item in the room without discovering it was better than I could have hoped. For example, the bed frame includes two huge drawers that pull out of the end, and the drawer bottoms are cedar! The hand rail in the tub/shower is exactly where you need it for easy use getting in and out. And its so sturdy that you can pull hard on it without budging it one millimeter! The soap, shampoo, and conditioner are more than good; they are Bath and Body Works good; they smell wonderful and work great! The counters are high quality stone (granite or marble; not sure which, but beautiful either way). The location is perfect, right on the bay across from Morro Rock. Parking is free and on site. The continental breakfast is superb, offering more choices than supposedly fancier hotels, and the quality is superior. And its included! The staff who took care of us were John, Kim, Rachel, and Felix (the maid), and they were so far beyond helpful and nice that those words are useless to describe how wonderful they were. So please dont stay here! You will never want to stay anywhere else, and then I might not be able to get a room! No kidding, this world traveler has a new favorite hotel.

First of all, the hotel was very helpful when we made a mistake and booked two nights instead of one. Though the booking was non-refundable Estero Inn cancelled it without any charge.Secondly, our stay was very nice though it became even shorter than planned. We arrived after sunset, and had to leave quite early but still hade enough time to enjoy our stay.Our room (pictured), on the second floor with a small balcony with views over the bay and Morro rock, was great. Nice, clean and a comfortable bed. The breakfast was also nice, even though the said to be amazing waffles were maybe not more than average. But hey, theyre still waffles. =)Estero Inn is also close to everything you need in Morro Bay, so two thumbs up. Nothing much to complain about.

We had a harbor side room— it was right on the water. Quiet and gorgeous. Loved downtown.

Stayed July 2018. Staff were great and rooms were unique. Stayed in upstairs corner unit and loved our views and balcony. Only issue is room temperature was uncomfortable and it was difficult to regulate room temperature throughout the night; too warm/stuffy without patio door cracked, too LOUD to keep it opened with marine life- arr! Arr! Arr! all night long (haha). 3rd option was air conditioning, but that was insanely noisy. Enjoyed visiting the rock!

My wife an I spent our 2nd anniversary here and it couldnt have been more perfect. I booked directly with the hotel which also gave me a lower price. Additionally, as an Army Veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom it made me feel good that they gave me a military discount. Check in was a breeze. We get to our suite and were overwhelmed by the view and accomodations of the staff. There was a fireplace, balcony, and towel oragami with rose petals waiting for us on the bed spread when we arrived. I spoke with the owners, a younger married couple who expressed appreciation for our business and made dinner arrangements for us at a restaurant down the street called the galley. We get there and they created a custom menu that brought my wife to tears and made the day one for the books.The hotel was clean, quiet, friendly, and beautiful. They serve a breakfast that is great as well and are in the process of setting it up so you can rent boats, bikes, and other activities. They also sent us to a few wineries that only added to the perfect evening. I cant stress enough that this is the place you need to go if you want to show your special someone how much you love them. I truly appreciated all of the support and hospitality the staff at Estero Inn gave to make our 2nd anniversary perfect. We will be back.

Estero Inn, Morro BayWe found one of our new favorite places to stay in San Luis County. On the way there, we received a call that our room was ready early. Upon arrival, the staff was very nice and walked us to our room. The whole facility is very clean. Great views of the harbor and the Morro Bay rock. Walking distance to many restaurants.

We stayed for a midweek staycation and absolutely LOVED our experience. We stayed in the Kelp Forest Suite and the view of the bay from our room was simply breathtaking. The property is very clean and modern with comfortable amenities. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and truly taken care of. The price definitely reflects what you receive and it is worth every penny. We will gladly make Estero Inn our usual place to stay when we just need a luxurious night away without leaving our county!

My boyfriend and I were celebrating his birthday and I got the birthday package, it included champagne, strawberries, chocolates, balloons, cake and candle made of towels and a card, it was sweet! We had a great experience at Estero Inn in Morro Bay. The service was fantastic, especially manager, Carrie, who made us some wonderful breakfast waffles with fresh strawberries. Our room, the Morro Rock suite, had a wonderful view with a small balcony and fire place. Not large, but very clean and comfortable. We loved sitting out on the deck chairs watching the sunset.

We arrived after 6p.m but the young woman on reception couldnt have been more gracious and helpful; she even upgraded us to a king room with a sea view. It was fabulous with a microwave, fridge, iron and board and a fire. The artistry in the bathroom was wonderful and so were the products.

Wow, if you are heading to the coast make this hotel your destination. Great views right on the water, super comfortable and well appointed rooms, and great staff. We went to meet up with family and booked two rooms. Each was well appointed and very comfortable. Balconies with chairs to watch the sunset over the Rock. Try the waffles at breakfast, you wont regret it!

We stayed at Estero Inn at Morro Bay for the first time this year and returned again a few weeks later to visit again as we enjoyed our stay so much. The location is great and the view from our room was fantastic.

We booked this hotel as a romantic weekend. We paid extra for the second floor bay view. The reviews and office staff told us the bed were very comfortable The room we got was rather small, nice and clean. The view was of a ugly barge. We sat on the bed and sank 8 inches - very soft. The queen mattress was so bad we immediately left (ate the cost of the hotel room) and found other accommodations locally. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody over 40 or who may suffer from any type of back issues. The mattress and no support
