Beautiful night out to see Chopra live with my dad the theater was comfortable and the night was one to remember we got to meet him and everything! They organized a nice book signing upstairs it was a very cool experience. Also the ticket people were very accommodating we forgot ours and they helped look us up even instead.
I cant wait to go back. The quality of the performances is phenomenal! The acoustics and sound system make it a stage worthy of the performances.Seating is comfortable. Special handicap seating can be arranged which really helps me out as Im disabled. There are many really good restaurants in the area. My favorite is Cottage II because it is close & they have the best Chinese food I have ever had including NYC venues.
Its a very nice local theater. Clean and cozy. Nothing spectacular like Broadway but they have great shows and they often get major celebrities to come. I have been here a few times with my family and we have enjoyed the performances each time. They have a bar and do serve alcoholic beverages, although inflated drink prices like in the movie theater. 2 drinks will run about $20-$24. No food or snacks here. But anyway, people come here for the show and not the drinks. So go to this place and have fun. I will again.
Great venue, opening night is the best night to be,, Mayo has gone through its changes and great asset to the community and the people of Morristown .Ive been attending various performances here for over ten years..Whenever I have an opportunity, I make the attempt to attend a great performance.Thank you Mayo for everything youve done and what you have contributed to the community and Morris County !!
We saw Vince Gill on Saturday. This is a delightful theatre. It has the charm of the early 1900s with acoustics that sound perfect. The location is easy to get to with plenty of dinner arrangements nearby. Vince Gill and his band played for over 2 hours. The audience loved it ! We loved it. Hopefully the Mayo PAC has him back soon ! What a night !!!
The show that we saw here was absolutely stunning! Amazing work! The projector should be relocated and mounted from the ceiling though, because where it was caused there to be shadows from the people sitting in front of it.
In the heart of Morristown NJ this venue offers great shows is always a fun time. Right next to Jockey Hollow which makes for a fun evening out.
Nice venue. Acoustics are not the best and the chairs are small. However the staff were so friendly and the performance was wonderful. Definitely coming back!
Pete the Cat was great for kids. We went during a sensory friendly showtime, which was very helpful when my oldest melted down. They offered coloring pages, balls, comfy chairs and more. They should offer that at all showtimes for kids!
This place is always great! I saw a comedian with some mom friends a couple weeks ago and just saw a bubble show with my son today. The staff are friendly and the lines are not usually very long. You will just need to plan ahead for parking as they dont have a designated parking lot for everyone. Id say your best bet is just a park in public lots and garages. Have fun!
Nice venue for concerts. Parking can be a pain, but when you purchase tickets you have the option (at a fee ) to park at 3 selected lots that are easily within walking distance. Its nice to see popular acts without having to go to NYC.
Great small venue. Not a bad seat in the house. Ample parking and dinner choices in the area.
Nice venue. Looks like they hold a variety of shows and activities. Saw Manheim Steamroller tonight. Sat in the last row of the balcony and these were great seats. Going to be checking their calendar for future events.
My husband and I went to see Tyler Henry! We saw him in December at Ceasers in Atlantic City. He is truly wonderful. This event he did live readings. The MPAC center is beautiful. They had parking for $5 or you had to find your own place. There was a shuttle to from the lot to the center...for free (we tipped the driver at the end of the evening). Inside, the staff greeted everyone and were nice. They answered questions if anyone had one. The bar on the main floor had alcohol, soda, chips and other light snacks. As we walked into the theater itself we were given a MPAC booklet. They assisted us find our seats. We purchased a VIP pass to meet Tyler so after the show we were lead to another room. There was around 30 people. It went quickly. We all had a chance to meet him. He hugged both my husband and I. He even answered a question for me.Tyler is truly an amazing man and everyone no matter what you believe should experience him at least once. He has a gift and uses it to help heal those that need it.
The person I was with has poor sight in low lightening and uses a cane for balance. The staff made sure we were safely in and then out of our seats. The officer kept an eye on her as well as watching everything else going on around them while I went to get the car.Two thumbs up from each of us.
Great show and performance. We enjoyed it. Parking was a bit tricky.Be prepared to pay about $7.00
Great venue. Saw Cream there recently. Comfortable seats, well staffed, they have arrangements with several parking lots.
Clean, bright, and colorful lobby. Friendly and fun staff, including parking attendents and shuttle drivers. Theater has classic old style, with modern updates. Good seating.
Excellent selection of live performance. Today was Tony Bennett, completely sold out. Impressive performance.
We went kenny G concert. It was nice night out. They performed best musics. The place was cozy and any seat can see stage without any problems.
Great venue. Picture from seat row EE
There was security before you even got to the door, but they were thorough and PLEASANT!!! Not at all disruptive, and I appreciated that they were there. Performance was world class, right here in Morristown, and absolutely excellent. Told my husband on way to car, we should do this more often. A lovely performance, and maybe dinner somewhere in one of Morristowns new restaurants! Like civilized people!
Milo was phenomenal! What ruined it for me... people with their cells taking videos and photos.
Love MPAC! Saw Alice Cooper tonight. 3/9.The staff at MPAC are friendly and laid back. Nice venue for a show. Will absolutely look to attend more shows in the future.
Awesome venue with an amazing lineup! Plus occasional young professional happy hours!
Nice performance but the singing was too loud. DL is an amazing singer for her age
Great venue if you want a good show without trudging to the city (NYC or Philly)
Always a great venue to see a wide variety performers in a beautiful intimate atmosphere. Great variety of dining choices in the area too.
Good place to watch a show. Comfortable, no waiting outside to get in like at Radio City lol
Saw the Manhattan comedy night show, and thought it great. Nice theater to see a show, wide seats have plenty of legroom. Excellent drink choices at concessions.Plenty of good restaurants to grab a bite before show. Make sure you get there early as it can be difficult to find a parking spot.
A great venue with a terrific mix of acts and artists. Parking is free at the municipal lot, an easy 10-minute walk.
I love catching shows here. Its convenient and cozy enough that any seat is a good seat. Ive never had a bad experience. I go on date nights with my hubby and take all my kids for family outings.
Saw nutcracker. Good show. Had to pay $7 cash to park half a mile away.
Great venue for a show. Have been here many times. Definitely a great change from NYC.
Great show never a bad seat . Mayo definitely needs to learn the proper definition of when to shut off alcohol to individuals, several surrounding members of audience became blinding drunk at an acoustic show lol... will return next month for another great show..
Enjoyed the Elton john tribute concert by a very talented group. The theater is so accessible, and avoids the major hassle of a trip to nyc. Good acoustics, and all seats have good view of stage. Only downside: seats fit short bodies; if youre 6 feet tall, you will suffer.
Great seating regardless of where you seat. The space is just the right size, acustics are great too. One downside though, my family and I were there over the weekend to see Peppa pig live and I had to go use the bathroom to change my daughters diaper, but none of the mens bathrooms had a changing table.
Great venue - easy access- not a bad seat in the house.Good restaurants all within walking distance.
Nice place for someone like me who doesnt like going to NYC. Great shows.
Love this place..so happy to have it in our neighborhood! Support it please!
Comfortable seats, nice location. Nice that they have parking lots even though they are a few minutes walk away. Wish the lobby was bigger, as it can get crowded in there. Great experience for a concert!!
I have been to Mayo several times over the past few years and every single visit is a wonderful experience. The shows have all been enjoyable and the facility is well-maintained... however, most importantly, the staff and volunteers are consistently personable, helpful, and thoughtful. This is a great community theater!
Magnificent selection of entertainment. Fabulous acoustics. There are no bad seats.
Nice small venue. Not a bad seat anywhere. Bar closes early during events, so be sure to get last refreshments beforehand.
Beautiful theatre - real gem in the community. Good seats and viewing from all parts of the house. Attentive (and not snooty) ushers and good acoustics. In the start of the heart of Morristowns downtown area, so parking remains a challenge. They are working with partners who have small lots nearby. A challenge for a lot of live theatres in NJ.
Really nice theater, comfy seats, great choices of entertainment.
Went to see Ruben Studdard Sings Luther. It was wonderful. Lots of fun.
We saw Terry fator. A whole lot of fun. It was clean and staff was friendly.
Really nice place to watch a show. Easy to get to off I-287. Park for free in the evenings at the Town Hall parking lot about a 5-minute walk from the theater. Lovely area with shops & dining.
Beautiful theater, orchestra and dancers. Disagree that there is not a bad seat in the house. Very disappointed that the main scene of the Prince kissing Sleeping Beauty was done on the extreme right hand side of the stage( almost in the wing) which was not visible from my partially obstructed view seat, 4 in, on the right side of the theater. Considering that this was the point of the whole story, it should have been done center stage for all to see!! Didn’t expect to miss the highlight because of the poor staging for the main scene!
Family friendly programming at attractive prices.
Helpful staff always with a smile. Amazing venue in a small town with iconic country performances
Saw Jackie Evancho last night and very, very happy with everything. Great venue. Great parking set up. Some amazing artists show up at this location. Very happy
Great venue with great places to eat nearby . I come here often
This is a wonderful local venue for shows of all types. Its conveniently located near several bars and restaurants, making it perfect for an afternoon show followed by dinner or an evening evening after dinner. Parking might cause a slight problem, but locals can Uber right to the theater!
If I could leave zero stars for this establishment, I would. My friend and I have tried many times and been unsuccessful at purchasing tickets because the only tickets left for the show we want are groups of three and we are a couple. Im sure if someone wanted to buy a single ticket they would let them, but I am barred from buying two tickets. Its really a very discriminatory practice.
Great local theater hosting traveling shows or musical groups. Tickets are reasonably priced and it takes the stress out of going into the city for a live show.Theater itself is nice but showing signs of age.Overall Id recommend it if youre in the area or if you want to bring younger kids to experience a live show.
Really nice and quaint. Very helpful staff. Saw Collective Soul and Gin Blossoms there and ate up the street at Urban Table. All were in walking distance from the reserved parking lot at the Verizon building.
Great place to see a show. Easy parking and lots of places to eat.
Saw an excellent performance, I had a wonderful time, very friendly staffs.
Its a very nice place. Tje works are very nice and helpful.
We thoroughly enjoyed the Concert wonderful venue and outstanding lighting effects. Also, sound system was fantastic.
SYTYCD Live show was great! I was sitting far back in the balcony and still could see well.
Great venue! Chris Isaac was his usual entertaining self. Wonderful show!
I saw Bernadette Peters, and she was amazing. The theatre was clean and organized. I had no problem hearing her, and I was impressed by the lighting coordination. Props to Bernadette and the production staff.
The place you want to be for a wonderful show is MPAC. Easy to get to, easy to park, in amazing Morristown. Great restaurants everywhere here for a pre performance meal or snack an a drink afterwards. The venue is spectacular. Warm friendly atmosphere, three concessions, attentive and helpful staff and ushers. You dont need Broadway for an awesome time in New Jersey. Just saw Dave Sedaris for an hysterical reading and book signing. The seasons offerings here are fantastic. Biggest names, from classical to country to rock, Broadway shows, childrens Theatre and music, great acoustics, comfortable seating, they really go way beyond to make certain that you have a grand time and are pleased with the show. Not a bad seat in the house. You dont need to spend New York prices or parking... Come to MPAC!!!
Lovely venue. Excellent performance of the Nutcracker.
Went to see Mannheim Steamroller the show was awesome
Great show, went to see Bernadette Peters. She is fabulous!!!!! A must see performance
Very cool venue in the center of a very cool town.
Great venue. So easy to get to compared to any other.
Great shows all year long! Clean bathrooms and sippy cups.
We LOVE the community theater! We go to one show a month on average!! It is a hidden gem! An asset to out town! Attached is a picture from Morristowns Got Talent! A must see show of local talent and it is a fundraiser. Weve been going every year for the last 3 years! We will continue this annual tradition.
Great place good acoustics and wonderful staff!
Great place to see a show. Big name bands down to free movie nights. Cant beat this place.
Well done, a fav of the local venues. Most importantly the sound crew knows not to go to turn the dial to 11, in fact keeps the sound at a pleasant 7, juuust right, like auditory heaven.
The concert was great. Our seats were great too.
As always a great time, pleasantly surprised with the shuttle from the Verizon lot.
Good acoustics. Older building with slightly steep stairs (they have an elevator). Comfortable seats. Lots of street parking on weekends.
Great Theater, good acoustics, comfortable seats, helpful and friendly volunteers! The bathrooms are big and clean so there is little time spent waiting in line! MPAC is in a great town with lots of restaurants and parking as well.
Quality performances by quality performancers!!Lots of variety in the offerings. Youre sure to find something that will suit your taste
Great theater. Parking always seems to be a problem for me.
Wonderful theater. Parking can be difficult.
What a beautiful theater. Every usher was so sweet and pleasant. The box office was so polite and helpful. Each person who worked there seemed to have a smile on their face and was happy to be working there.
Very clean, organized and friendly staff. Easy to find and access too.
Always a treat to go to MPAC. Its so close to home and has such great shows. Cant believe that in this part of NJ they can attract big performances and artists. There is pretty much no such thing as a bad seat in the house. Orchestra or balcony allows you to see and hear the entire performance. Definitely would recommend for an intimate show on a large scale stage.
Nice small theatre not far away from NYC (1 hour or so on NJ Transit train, them a 5 min walk).A variety of acts perform here to avoid expensive NY venues. Perhaps a congested lobby and lines to use restrooms when busy, and thats why not a 5 stars review.
The theatre is lovely and the ballet was beautiful.
Great Venue. The staff was friendly, seats were comfy, nice and air conditioned and the bar gave us our drinks in nice sippy cups with lids that we could bring home as souvenirs
Nice venue, beer, wine and snacks, close to shopping district.
Amazing staff, best small theater and great shows. Love ya John...
Fantastic, oldtime theater with some great shows happening each month, The ticket takers are very friendly and the seating is great, no matter where you sit. My only gripe is parking, but what can you do ?
Good show. Doesnt get 5 stars because the seats are uncomfortable.
