The best experience I ever had with an estate sales group .I just found out about Magnusson Group and I am pleased and satisfied 100% .Amazing at everything starting with the polite hard working staff, the professionalism the organizing of the event and the quick response via message .I later received a phone call about my request and info I requested, about other upcoming sales .Very personal genuine phone call .All just perfect. The stuff was beautiful unique and the prices were reasonable. Can’t wait for the next sale. Faced with emptying my parents house in a short period, my sister and I were referred to the Magnusson Group and could not be more pleased with their service. After almost 70 years of marriage, their 4 bedroom house was chock full of stuff - furniture that ranged from inexpensive big box finds to higher end pieces purchased with a decorator in High Point, countless sets of dinnerware and cutlery, holiday decorations, and so on. It was overwhelming. Drew and his team were professional and kind. They quickly figured out what could be sold, what was suitable for donation, and what was headed for the bin. When my sister and I returned to the house, it was completely empty and broom clean. We are so pleased with the service offered and highly recommend the Magnusson Group!

The person who was sent from Magnusson to help evaluate and dispose of our furniture and all other valuable items was little help to us with our antique furniture after we were told that they would either auction it or put it online. However she was interested in our silver and silverware and best china. She bought the best pieces, but promised over and over again that she would come back for everything else and give us a comprehensive price. Before Covid19 she came back to retrieve the china dinner service but she said she was in a hurry and would come back for everything later.This way she cut our chances to get anybody else who had worked successfully for our friends because we had not chosen them first and had sold the best silver and china to somebody else.A month before our move I called her to remind her of her promise and asked what to do with the remaining pieces of furniture including an English farmhouse settle of the nineteenth century. I was only able to speak with her assistant and to add insult to injury they only offered us to pay $300 for a truck to take away the two pieces of furniture with nothing in return and not even the courtesy to let us know what they would do with it For the rest they said they were not interested.If they did not want to work with us they should have been honest to tell us from the beginning that they only dealt with huge estate sales and not left us on a limb. Most unprofessional

Drew (& Mrs.) & Lauren Magnusson never disappoint. They put on beautiful sales at gorgeous homes with amazing finds at every price point. The number signup process is the best in the area, the staff is professional and courteous ... whats not to love?

Really shady operation they have running in Morristown this weekend. They like to play games with people and really don’t care to learn anything about the items they sell. They are rude and are also really weird when it comes to taking payment which made me think they were skimming some off for themselves. If I were the homeowners/estate owners, I’d be concerned.The sale itself was disorganized, no price tags anywhere and none of them talk to each other so you could be wasting your time on something that has already sold. I just couldn’t get over how rude they were, it was so strange.I wouldn’t stop if I saw a Magnusson sign again.Follow up!!!! As you will see, the “President” says that I did not shop at the sale and there is no record of me attending the sale. This is 100% false, although indeed there would not be any record of me attending as my girlfriend signed the registration sheet under her name, not mine. She was also the one who made the purchases, not me. Sorry Mr. Magnusson, but your attempt at devaluing my review on your terrible operation completely failed.

Our experience with Magnusson was five star! Moving is an extremely stressful process and they provided tremendous piece of mind during a very hectic time. From the first meeting with Lauren Magnusson to the final item being sold, they executed their every move with professionalism and efficiency. Lauren and her team dont skip a beat and provide such a level of control and comfort that you literally sit back and let them handle everything for the sale. I walked into our home following the sale and took a huge sigh of relief. My house was practically emptied and what wasnt sold they work with a wholesaler who purchased the remaining items. Their office staff (Lori!) is equally as wonderful. We had a follow up meeting within days to go over the receipts and was provided a check. All I can say is they better be around if I ever have to do another estate sale because I couldnt imagine having done this without them!

The Magnusson Group took a risk on my project, disposing of quality antiques in a middle class home. Rather than sell off my parents legacy at fire-sale prices, Magnusson held firm. They understood I would prefer to keep these gems rather than give them away for a song. My siblings and I made some money, while Magnusson did not. The items that sold are not missed, and made some buyers happy. In fact, my house now looks so good I may take it off the market and enjoy it awhile longer!!

I purchased a table online and there were a few issues regarding wear/damage due to age. As soon as the issue was detected, Jack from The Magnusson Group contacted me and honestly reported what he saw. I agreed to have the item mailed to me and what a bummer, FedEx damaged the table even more. I contacted Jack again and he responded immediately. He took the time and care to follow through with the damage claim with FedEx and got me a refund for the damage. I was so impressed with his follow through and communication. I would highly recommend working with this company!

First let me say if I could give 10 stars out of a possible five I would ! for over 15 years I have been going to estate sales in New Jersey and by far Drew and Lauren and employees run the most professional classiest organized sales I have ever gone to, 95% of companies running estate sales should not be in this business, hands-down if youre thinking of having a sale its a no-brainer this company should be first on your list

We used the Magnusson Group for our estate sale in Montclair. Lauren, Drew and the rest of the team were highly knowledgeable concerning a wide variety of items from collectibles, furs, china, shoes, clothing, handbags etc to unique collections, jewelry and art. Their attention to detail was amazing and they worked diligently to make sure everything was set up to draw the buyers into buying items. When they say they can sell anything and everything, it’s true. By the end of our sale, we only had a few items left. They have a strong network of followers who attend their sales. In fact, on the first day of our sale, buyers were lined up in our driveway at 7:30 and sale started at 9am. We were extremely pleased with their professionalism, especially in with the way they conducted the sale. The Magnusson Group was a pleasure to work with, and we highly recommend them because they proved to us that they are the premier estate sale company. Ive never used this company personally, but Ive been to many of their sales. You can tell they treat the home and the items with the utmost care when hosting a sale. Friendly staff and they arent on your back while you shop. Very knowledgeable, too.

We completed our house sale mid October of last year in Brookside. Our experience with Lauren and her staff was outstanding. They are very professional and honest. They even cleaned out our storage unit in Parsippany, assembled the pieces and brought it all to our house for the sale. Anything we didn’t want to keep, they sold or donated. I can’t tell you what peace of mind is worth, but they certainly removed a lot of stress from us. The sale was extremely well organized with plenty of help all around. We had a finished barn as well as the house, and they handled it all without an issue. They cleaned up after the sale, and we never returned to the house. It passed the final walk through before the closing without a problem. We received our check in short order. They know what they’re doing and how to price items. I can’t tell you how highly we recommend them.

Rude Staff and sometime they keep good stuff for them. sometime they dont have tags (Not for sale) and if you pick those stuff to ask price, they will make face and will ask you to put it back. She wanted to sale blue car windshield washer for 6$ (market price is 3.99)

Was turned on to this place by a friend. Interesting stuff and reasonable prices. When the house is finished, Ill be back. Im told that new stuff is frequently rotated.

Lets just say Im not happy with the end result. Wish things had turned out better for both of us.
