Im talkin about a place where the beer flows like wine, where the women instinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano. Im talkin about Spage.....me and the boys make it a go to on Friday for happy hour and karaoke and get sloshed!!!...Im too big of a p*** to say sup but plenty of smokes attend the event as well so if you have a set unlike me maybe youll get lucky....highly recommend

I went to this bar for the first time last Tuesday. I ordered a beer and enjoyed about thirty seconds of conversation before being rudely interrupted by a heavily intoxicated man at the bar. The staff later told me this was an off work employee. He interrupted my conversation with my friends, asked me if my friend and I were brothers, because apparently all us white guys look alike, then very loudly accused us of being racists. Mind you we had not said a word to him (except to say no, we are not brothers) or even had time to say much to each other yet as we had just arrived to the bar. Then he started yelling about how we were personally responsible for the enslavement of his ancestors and we were also apparently personally responsible for his current financial problems. The emotions were wildly back and forth, alternating between crying and anger. He tried to get my phone number so i could help him get money and move stuff for him. Never could get a straight answer on exactly what he needed me to help him move. I politely tried to get him to leave and he became belligerent. My friend asked the bar tender if she could do anything about it and she would not. The most amazing thing was they kept serving the man. Several other customers left the bar to avoid him. Ive been told this is actually a good bar so I hate to leave a poor review but I can not go back to this place so long as the staff allows off work employees to verbally harass patrons. I left after two beers and will not go back to this bar so long as this person is employed and the staff is unwilling to deal with this kind of behavior. I would be more than willing to discuss the behavior of the person in question with management.

Good place to grab a drink, the fries here are terrific if you get in before the kitchen closes. Even when students are gone the place usually still has a decent number of patrons at night. Classic hang out

The Sports Page is the most consistent college bar in town. It will be the only place to stay busy no matter what else is going on. Cheap drinks $2.50 domestic 20 oz.) and they wont short you on mixed drinks. Very attractive bartenders. Sometimes there can be a short wait for the next round, but never excessive waits.

I normally like to go to spage but lately its been going down hill. My sister came in from out of town and I wanted to take her to some of the bars. I was EXTREMELY offended with one of the bartenders working there last night (the red hair one). My sister and I have the same looking debit cards and we both ordered drinks and then ran our cards. First she poured not even close to a half a shot in the shot glass and then charged me full price for them. About 2 hours later and let me repeat 2 hours of sitting at the bar I asked for another round of shot the bartender then proceeded to start yelling at me and being completely rude because Ive ran my card to many times and that I wasnt allowed to do that. Excuse me I ran my card ONCE and I tip pretty well to for a college bar. They also werent busy at this point seeing as it was 2:10 am. The best part is Im not the only one she was yelling at and being completely disrespectful to that night. the man sitting beside me needed to buy another shot for a friend that walked in late so he asked for another shot and she then started yell at him that he shouldnt make her make more shots and that hes not allowed to do that. As a bartender myself your job is to server the customers not yell at them if I wanted to get yelled at I would just call my mother.

Pretty good food. Fun happy hour. Good drink prices.

Standard college town bar. Bar tender (red hair one) is extremely rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. We were visiting from out of town and she tried to pull a fast one on us by charging $9 for a Bud Light. Yes, you read correctly $9 for (1) Bud Light. When we questioned the price she said she didnt serve us. Excuse me, we had a few drinks BUT we were not drunk enough to not remember who served us. Because we questioned the bar tender we were asked to leave and escorted out.

Nice bar with decent wings. Ok beer selection, they carry more imports and craft beers than most of the comparable sports bars in the area.

I frequently visit sports page. And the particular bartender on my visit this last past time was extremely rude. Blonde, with a tattoo on her wrist and thigh. I paid with my debit card on my first transaction and was going to tip in cash. My girlfriend asked for a drink as well right after I paid on my card, and when I went to get her a drink the bartender proceeded to ask are you paying in cash with this disgusted tone. It was really obvious that she did not want to serve me or my girlfriend and that it was a problem that I didnt want to tip on my card on a four dollar check. I understand that she makes money off tips just like I do at my job. I was honestly planning on tipping with cash but afternher attitude I paid for my drink IN CASH, tipped 3 dollars and went on about my business. Normally I only deal with Ashley when I visit sports page and after my experience tonight, it has been made clear that Ashley is the only one who cares about her guests.

The best place to grab a couple drinks and relax after work and catch up on what happened in the world of sports.

Best vegas bombs by one of the bartender name carly. also try their WV long island iced tea as well as raspberry longisland iced tea.

No matter where you live in the USA, when you come into the Sports Page, they will put on YOUR local teams. Coming from Boston for a few months, I didnt expect them to have access to NESN, home of the Red Sox and Bruins. There are enough flat screen TVs scattered around the two rooms, you can sit almost anywhere and watch the tube.Food is typical bar food, with a few extras thrown in. On Fridays at 5 pm, they do a small buffet for $5. Beer and liquor prices, are good, compares to Boston prices.I have definitely fell in love with this place, as I spend too much time here. Décor is a little beaten after 15 years or so, and you can see the wear-and-tear has taken its toll.But enjoy the company (mostly WVU students) and beer selection.
