My daughter will no longer train at Realis Gymnastics. I have discounted her membership because she was harassed constantly by her team mate, which was brought to the attention of the staff several times. On 11-10-20 the student threatened to cut my daughters wrist with a knife. I immediately brought this to the attention of the staff and the mother of the student. The mother denied that her daughter would say something like that. On 11-12-20 returning to practice, the student and her mother stopped me outside the gym before practice and proceeded to apologize for her daughter saying what shed previously denied saying. Her mother admitted that her daughter threatened mine...but claimed it was my daughters fault for bullying hers - which she never did. Her daughter lied about doing it, then her mother continued to defend her actions. The gym did not adequately protect my daughter, they instead allowed a student that threatened bodily harm to another student to continue their training. It appears that the gym cares more about financial gains then the safety of their students. Especially in recent times no threats should be taken lightly. I do not feel its safe for my daughter to countiue to go to Realis Gymnastics because of the lack of consequences for that students constant harrasment and threats towards mine.
Having a hard time getting my daughter to get the teacher we are signing up for
Awesome place for gymnastics
Today was a great experience for my daughter. She really enjoyed being there and would love to go back. The coaches there are really sweet and have patience with the kids which is wonderful. I recommend if your kids want to go Gymnastics to go to this place because you won’t regret it.
Thank you for being here and staying open.
Hey I’m a 16 year old male teenager that’s has no experience at all in gymnastics but wants to join and be a gymnast. Do you guys except guys ??? How much would it cost ???
This gym is great! The coaching is amazing and they care about everyone. It doesn’t matter how old you are you are still going to have a blast!
Realis is an amazing gym with great staff and facilities it’s always a blast and your child will be able to grow in every way with the help of amazing coaches. Realis offers a large variety of classes for to make sure there’s something for everyone to enjoy no matter who you are.
Very good gym, not very many gyms have owners that care as much as this one does. There are two locations and both of them are very well taken care of, two of the cleanest gyms anywhere
This is the best gym in Southern California hands down. The owner, my former coach, (and his wife) who built and run both gyms are masters at their craft. They have managed to create an environment that is very structured to get results while also filled with HEART, kindness and passion. I myself became a world champion under Youri’s (owner) coaching two times (2002,2004) and continue to work with him on a regular basis. He and Tatiana have the CLEANEST gymnastics gym I have ever been in (which is rare), with top notch equipment and a coaching staff that includes multiple WORLD CHAMPIONS and hall of fame members. Realis is also known for its DIVERSITY and inclusive policy which welcomes people from every different background and helps them to become their best not only in gymnastics, but in life. If you live in The inland empire and want to enroll your kids in a program that will better them physically, mentally and with life skills, this is the place for you. This is also the home of AcroArmy the 3rd place winners of America’s Got Talent Season 9 on NBC.
I love the hours. The staff is informative and I like how the instructors are a little strict but helpful and focused on children.
This is a fantastic guymnastics for little and older kids and it gives you exercise so you can stay healthy so I hope you will really like this place to
There was an issue with jenica and my 4 year old daughter who was in Hot Shots. They changed the schedule to their classes three times. Decreased hours and changed days with less than a weeks notice. Little to no communciation between trainers and parents. Jenica left my daughter hanging on a bar with her back towards the wall. My daughter cannot climb that high and couldnt get down especially since her back was towards the bars she needed to get her feet on. She was left there crying and hanging. With another instructor no more than 5 ft away who obviously heard her. As i walked towards my daughter I asked her, dont you hear her and she said she had another class. Their response to that comment was that instructors dont interfere with other instructors training. My response to that is, what about the well being of the child??My daughter had a bruise on her back the following day. The owner said she could have gotten it from anywhere. I have the whole conversation recorded. Its quite disgusting how she treated this situation. No corrective action was taken towards the instructor, even after we were told there would be. We were told we would be called back by the owner and never did. When my sister walked in to take her daughter out of the gym, the owner said that she heard it was taken care of. She was out of town so she couldnt do anything. What type of owner takes no responsibility for her employees actions?? This was not the first or second time Jenica made my daughter cry. The first 2 times I thought it was part of the strengthening process and that she probably pushed too hard without realizing it. I told my daughter to communicate with Jenica when it hurt too much and to just stop if it hurt. But leaving her hanging on a bar, crying, and struggling to stay up and find her footing is disgusting and considered child abuse to me. I had to walk across the gym to get her and no one helped my daughter. I thought for sure someone would get her down before i got to her and no one did. My daughter was blamed for the incidence. We were told maybe she is too young for this class and maybe we should move her down to kinder tots. They were the ones who suggested putting her in Hot Shots. Maybe their instructors are not trained to work with children her age in this advanced class where she is the youngest. You would think a good instructor knows what type of child they are working with and know how to adjust their training to their needs. And if this is not the type of gym that does that, then dont suggest putting my daughter in a class that is more advanced. I should have realized the instructor was not fit when she would storm in and out of the secretarys office. Very disrespectful. We were also told that we were refunded the tuition. We were not. She corrected this by saying that we didnt get charged for the following month even though cancelling requires notice. Truly miserable experience. My daughter always get worried when we pass by the gym, asking if we are going to the gym. When i reply with a no, she reminds me, good mommy, because they were mean to me and they made me cry and hurt me.
The ladys that work the front counter are so rude I have never been talked to that rude to before in my life!! I would never recommend this place to anyone!!
My 3 year old daugter really enjoys the tiny tots class here, every time the day after she asks if she can go to gymnastics again. The coach is great and keeps the small kids engaged, learning, and improving.
My daughter has been coming to Realis for over 6 years and I absolutely love my daughters transformation. Not just in my daughters gymnastic skills but of the young lady she has become.. She has learned responsibility, she is discipline and she has confidence because of this gym.. It translate in her school academic as well. The coaches are amazing, experienced and motivating.. My daughter absolutley love Realis and calls it her second home️️ Lol.
This place is the worse I have ever seen and the owners from Russia and they are money hunger and the rudest of all. after having my daughter train there for 7 years we decided to take her out from the greediness of these owners we told them we are leaving on the 25th of the month and they charged us another month that my daughter did not step in that place said we did not give them at least 10 days notice we only gave them 5 days . they are disgusting and will never advise anybody to go there. you been warned .
So easy to join...They have great instructors my daughter loves it!!!
My 2 daughters have been going to Realis for a few years now. My youngest is 4 and currently in Kinder tots, and my other daughter just turned 6 and recently started with the level 2 team. I have had nothing but great experiences here, and both of my daughters love it! In tiny tots and kinder tots, my girls have had several different coaches. Some seem to have a more natural and pleasant attitude for coaching younger children, but they have all been competent. My girls favorites have been Kyrsten and Crystal. My older daughter started hot shots last year with Jenika, and now is coached by her and another coach for the level 2 team. I saw another review about this particular coach, and wanted to offer another view. I can tell that Jenika takes her job seriously. She has high expectations for the girls and pushes them to do their best. She doesnt let sloppy skills slide, and keeps working with them to help them improve. She does have a teacher voice and seems to have a serious and no-nonsense personality, but I personally think thats a good thing. My daughter likes working with her and thrives on the higher expectations. Since hot shots and team 2 is at a higher level than the other classes for younger children, she does expect them to pay attention and focus, which can be challenging for some younger kids. Our experience with her has been great, and I cannot believe how far my daughter has come in the year she has been coached by Jenika. We have had great experiences with the office staff too. They are organized, friendly, and willing to help you find the classes that meet your schedule. As many good business do, they have policies in place to make sure payment is received on time, and their cancellation policy is strict, although clearly stated on the initial paperwork. We used to go to the pop-in playtime on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10 A.M. for kids 5 and younger. This is a great time for the babies to run around and play! Its inexpensive, and my girls loved it! We also love the open gym time on Fridays from 7-9 and I believe anyone that meets the minimum age requirement can go to that if they pay the 7 bucks and fill out the waiver. I havent been to the new Redlands gym yet, but I have heard the facility is awesome! This gym produces excellent high-level gymnasts, and also has great recreational classes for kids who just want to be active or excel at their own pace. Their acrobatic gymnastics program has amazing gymnasts who are champions. It is incredible what they can do!
Do we have to buy. Gear? If we do how much?
It is an amazing place to learn something
Realis helps a lot with whatever u need to work on and in open gym if u need help u can just ask and they will spot u in this gymnastics academy u will show a lot of improvement by a month at least
Owner and some coaches are rude.
