Not sure why LMSC has 2 google accounts but in the interest of protecting the community I repeat my review for both accounts. Not many soccer clubs can claim the honors of having not one but TWO coaches arrested for inappropriate sexual conduct with minors. One of these coaches is now gone, but the other remains with the club and was hired by the club AFTER his arrest for inappropriate touching of a minor player (although not ultimately convicted despite young players testimony of the behavior). Check the coaches credentials - this is all on record. They may teach great soccer skills but the cost is high if you care about your daughter’s well being and future relationships with men.
Let me prefix this by saying that the actual soccer training and clinics are wonderful but the organization leaves much to be desired. We had our son try out for the club (U8) and we were super excited (and so was he) that he got in. So all was good. We went to the pre-meetings and were told to sign him up (around $800). We did, we asked about schedule etc. but they said games were on the weekend and practice a few times a week. All was good but no schedule given ... not a big deal.. so we signed him up.About 4 weeks prior to summer we got the schedule -- practice is 2 days a week from 8-10am. With two working parents we asked if there were any other options -- NO.. in fact we were told that you should get your baby sitter/nanny to take him to practice Right... like we have one of those! Even if we could take him 2 days a week, what about his other summer activities -- or should he stay at home those 2 days? Just a terrible experience.. we eventually -- 2 weeks later -- withdrew from the program. Note no practice sessions had been held (even as of today still none held and we have been out the program for at least 3 weeks). NO REFUND.. nothing. When we asked we were told that life is just tough and we should have been ready for any practice schedule. So net net if you have a nanny, or only 1 parent that works, and are prepared to let your son or daughter not go to any other summer program then this just might be the program for you. Oh yeah.. bring a checkbook... lots more to pay for...
