Nice set of trails in the woods on the east side of the parking lot. I take my kids here to fish whenever were in the area and have caught some nice sized spotted bass on occasion. 3-star rating due to the immense amount of trash all over the woods. We make it a priority to bring bags with us now and pair our fishing trips with a bit of environmental TLC and pick up as much as we can but its WAY more than a few people can handle. It would be nice if whoever maintains the facility would perform or organize a larger cleanup effort to get the shoreline and woods back into good condition and then patrol a bit more often to identify the offenders.Also, theres a recently sunken monohull cruising sailboat just off the shore to the east of the launch ramps.**3/11/19 UPDATE** My son and I took a trip here again this weekend but this time we brought gloves, a trash grabber and bags. Over the course of about an hour, we removed ~60 gallons of trash. It was a great lesson for him and a Saturday morning well spent. Hopefully folks do a better job obeying the No Littering sign posted at the trailhead (entrance to the woods) going forward. #trashtag #keepNatureWild
