Julie and Jeff are great people that own this wonderful establishment and offer some really good food with an ambiance of Lake Norman which is beautiful and special. The staff is wonderful and its a favorite place of mine to hangout, eat, and enjoy the view. Oops, might have a cold beer too! Coldest on the lake

Nice play to stop after enjoying a day on the lake. Food was decent but the service could have been better. ALL of our food came out at once. Appetizers, kids food and entrees all dropped off at the same time. Honestly who does that? Live band was a nice bonus and the value was food. Overall decent but not somewhere I would be dying to go back to.

Disappointing. Bartender with no mask or gloves stuck his finger with a lime in my beer. They didnt have ingredients for mojitos in August? Friends then had to wait 20 minutes for a glass of wine and a margarita because someone lost the drink order. Food was so so. I had a garden salad and they didnt screw it up, no one else complained about their food. I also had the lobster dip which was way more cream cheese than I expected it to be, but the bread they served it with was yummy. Our waitress was nice.It was my first experience dining on Lake Norman. I understand there are only a handful of restaurants on the lake. Id think they would be trying their best to entice customers.

Great atmosphere! We enjoyed food and drinks by the water with live music in the background. Perfect spot to kick off the weekend.

Great lunch outing for our large group vacationing on Lake Norman. Easy docking area for boats. Lots of good beer on tap. Good food too! Service was great with both the waiter and hostess being attentive but not hovering around or being bothersome.

This is a cool spot to hang out, have a drink and take in the view. The service could use a little improvement in the attention to the tables/guest/ touchbacks, refills. Had the chicken nachos, it was ok but the chicken came in huge chunks that couldnt be scooped up. I would suggest using finely shredded chicken instead and maybe a little more toppings. Most of the plate was just chips. I would go back and try a different menu item.

I’ve been going to apps and taps for a long time but no one waited on us tonight. I had to go in multiple times to ask for drinks and for someone to take our order then whenever we finally got our food a hostess brought one of my friends their food she says that her food was dropped on the floor and they had to make her a new one and played it off as a joke then a while later one of our friends didn’t receive theirs after everyone else had theirs for a while so I went to the hostess stand to ask where my friends food was because our waitress never came back then our waitress was standing at the window and jumped across the hostess stand AND GRABBED MY WRIST and cussed me out then after that I Ask to speak to the manager calmly she refused that that even happened and it and didn’t acknowledge it. Needless to say I will not be going back.

Probably the best venue on the lake to see live music. Huge stage with an amazing sound and light system. Huge dance floor and plenty of stuff to wet your whistle.

We have been there on several occasions and have good experiences. Stopped at the dock one day to fuel our boat and grab a bite. Pumps werent working correctly but we made it. Restaurant was short staffed but service was good and food was great. We have also attended several shows at the pontoon and its a top notch venue. Sound and light are big time! The staff really shines. We had a problem once with our VIP tickets and the manager was on top of it and took great care of us. The servers and bartenders are fantastic.

So disappointed with Apps and Taps tonight. Didnt get our appetizer and eventually had to cancel it. Waited over an hour for our meal as everyone else around us was served. Meals came except my sons - told it was on the way. Waited until told that the kitchen was out of fish. What!?!? We all got fish, plus they couldve told us when we ordered. He ended up getting chicken tenders to go . Asked for the manager and got a bartender who just had excuses and told us that we should have ordered earlier - like this was our fault. Not our servers fault - he was great!

We are visiting from out of town but will never go back. Several of us got sick from our meal and the overall service was disappointing. Our table was dirty when we sat, the staff had masks around their necks and half of them weren’t wearing them.

I am not familiar with the area, so I googled restaurant with outdoor seating, this came up. Based on the featured picture I chose to go to Blue Parrot (right next door) but it looked way to busy when I drove up, so I went here instead. I was pleasantly surprised! It was exactly what I was looking for! My dogs and I sat on the water, I drank a beer and had some decent food. Very calm, laid back atmosphere while maintaining a standard (quality, quantity, service, and aesthetics) above what I would expect. Menu is limited, but decent selection, decent prices. There wasnt a LOT of beer to choose from, but there was a good variety and the one I had was delicious! The service was good, my server was very busy but still made an effort to acknowledge the wait and was polite and apologetic. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and would return!

The southwest egg rolls and dipping sauce are unbelievable.

Got there on Sunday afternoon around 5. Got seated within 10 mins. 5 mins layer, Placed order for appetizer and my wife a sandwich. One hour later my wife got her sandwich and I nothing. Was told that they dripped my potato skins on the floor and they were making me new ones. Half hour later was told they are on their way. In the mean time 4 other tables were seated and got their food. Never Got my skins but sure Got the Bill. I guess the point here is dont order apps at the Taps and Apps.

We love this place. Great food. Great music. And always cold beer. It is now a regular stop for us. I particularly love the barbecued pork potato skins!

Love, love the atmosphere! They have 2 patios! We ate on the back patio tonight but the front looks fun too with patio lights! All of our food was terrific! My husband has Sauls Steamer, loads of steamed seafood! He was stuffed! I had the Qurillo. Delicious! With chips! Our friends had shrimp and grits and I cant remember. But the appetizers were great too! Mahi mahi and crab fritters. The food is great! Full bar. Great service! We will be back!

Apps & Taps is a cool place on the lake. Arriving by boat can be a pain sometimes, as there is generally a pretty crowd here. Good food and great drinks. The Bloody Marys were great and the food was delicious! They also offer vegetarian options and have a wide selection on the menu. A great place if you are looking for somewhere to dine on Lake Norman.

I usually come out to Apps on Saturday nights, because I like the live music and wonderful staff. Fischer was my server. He was fantastic. The food took a little while, which is to be expected on a weekend summer night on the lake, but it was well worth the wait. I ordered the Lobster Dip as an appetizer and the Raspberry Salmon Salad as my entree. Big seafood guy. I forgot to ask for an extra ranch when I initially ordered, but it was no problem at all. Fischer was there and back with my ranch in a jiffy. Total professional. I definitely will be back! 5 stars every time.

We went to listen to one of our local sings. He put on a great show (Vegas McGraw). It was very cold and they wouldnt let us in until the exact time. And boy is sure was cold.

Really fun place! The music venue is awesome and the drinks are really reasonably priced. I would definitely go back to see more shows in the future. The acoustics are really good, the stage is accessible and you can get a very good view of the band. There are some seating towards the back, but you need to get their super early to secure seating. The VIP section is pretty tiny and doesnt really offer much benefit over standing literally anywhere else in the venue.

We had a great time. Food was awesome and the live band, Throwdown Jones was great.

This is an awesome venue. We come here often and enjoy ourselves every time. I would like to compliment Brittany on her fantastic hospitality skills. On more than one occasion she has helped to ensure we have the best time. My wife and I observe all that she does and you really have a fantastic employee and a great asset to your company. She is very aware of all the surroundings and seems to be the go to person. She is very well equipped to handle all situations (and we’ve seen her in action). The rest of your staff is fantastic as well. We always feel welcome and safe at your establishment. Thank you for having a great live music venue in the Lake Norman Area! Great times and the calzones are amazing.

Overall, a good experience. The restaurant was a tad smaller than I expected considering its reputation. However the food was decent and the service is very friendly. The nightclub area is killer! Lots of space, one main bar with nearly anything you could want to imbibe as well as a satellite bar, good security, and a decent sized stage for bands to play on with a state of the art light and sound system. The only downside to our evening was that it took longer than expected to get our food once we ordered considering we ordered a Reuben sandwich and chicken fingers, and the restaurant wasnt packed.

Really enjoyed this place! Laid back vibe, excellent local beers on tap, delicious pulled chicken. Narrow view of the lake, but we enjoyed watching sunset. Honestly, way better than I expected when we pulled in!

Brittanie is the best bartender! She is attentive and gets it right every time. The restaurant/bar is great for an afternoon outing on the lake with great views and boat docks. If you like live music, you will love the pontoon upstairs. They have great bands several nights a week. Apps& Taps will not disappoint!

We came to apps and taps the other day by boat and it was GREAT! The thing that stood out most was our server, Reed (I hope that’s his name that’s what was on the ticket). My daughter has issues with being in public busy places and generally doesn’t do well in restaurants. However Reed was awesome!!! He told some corny jokes that my daughter loved and she warmed up and we didn’t have to leave early like our usual trips to restaurants. We had a great time, great service, absolutely fantastic!

Very cool place with live music and great food. Also the view is amazing. Perfect place to go and forget about everything else. Great drinks, food and service. The outdoor seating was ideal, fans moving the air around and no insects.

Horrible service and restrooms worse than any gas station you’ve seen.

Not sure if they were understaffed or what this past Saturday, but our experience overall was awful. This was our first time visiting. Waitress seemed completely overwhelmed (at one point she told us that someone ordered 50 Reubens and that’s why service was slow), portions were pathetic and my main course, minus my sides, came out 50 minutes before my husbands meal. My sides, half of a baked potato for $6 and collards, came out on my husbands plate- we had to ask the waitress for a separate plate. We got the calamari as an appetizer and the portion was very small. two stars for the fact the food was actually good and they had an awesome beer menu, and because of this we will probably give them another chance next time we are in town.

Wednesday night approx 7p, outside deck near the smoking area...the venue was great reason for 2 stars... We were promptly seated and given a menu. Three guys were then seated 5 min later next to us by the same waitress and their drink order promptly taken. They recevied their drink order...and no one had yet been to get our drink or food order. We promptly left.. and went next door..

This location is walking distance from my house which is so convenient. There’s amazing food and drinks and awesome bartenders to keep you company. If you’re in the trinity area it’s a must

Usually like this place back one of their wait staff who was not consistent. She told one of our own party could not put on a seating list because we had and outdoor tasting already. She told another 1 that we could but we chose not to which was a lie

We were told that there was a 45 min wait to be seated, which was fine. After being seated, we were told it would be another 45 min to get our food. Needless to say after two hours of no food, we finally got up and left. Went to Hardee’s, no problem there . Would definitely not recommend Apps and Taps!!!

Terrible service! Came in to get take out. Not greeted, no menus and attitude.Dirty bar Glasses but 3 people at the bar?? Ordered takeout and they never placed the order. House 15% full and everyone in the weeds. Never got my take out and they comped my beers but no apologies.I give them 2 monthsSo sadGreat furniture and great Rehab from the previous Chinese’s place.Will never make it In Lansbrook area.Probably will be a great opportunity for a investor when they fold in a few weeks.Investors take note!!

Went today, drove for an hr . Wanted to try something different and bad storm came through last night and power went out and all meats went bad. They Didn’t have a back up generator. So it was picky choice, didn’t want anything available, they should had put something on there website, it would have saved our gas and we could decide something else, we end up in concord mills.

Get the bologna sandwich you will not regret it. Cool place to take the boat to.

Pretty cool place, but too much like a warehouse (because it is). Lacks comfort and style. Needs less metal surfaces to look at and more comfortable seating options. There have been a few updates since opening, so I think it can get there. Love seeing Blue Monday Band perform there! They rock the place!

Awesome food, great prices, staff and owners are great people. Bands are always great on the weekends. Everyone is always so nice and polite. I love this place.

Stopped by on Sunday and had to ask to get somebody to turn on the gas pump at 1230 pm? Piss poor management. Will never stop for anything again.

Great food, great beer, and fantastic location. Ive been there many times with friends. Last week, I took my son and his girlfriend there when he was home from college. We had a great time!

Went there once. Would love to go a second time and try something different. Tried to est something outside of my wheelhouse and wasnt impressed.

Had dinner which was perfect. It’s bar type food but that is what we wanted. Service was great and the place was full.We headed upstairs for the band and did the VIP area. It was worth the extra $15 per ticket for the bar service. Awesome venue for a band. Sounds was great.

Went to enjoy my friends band. They were great! It was a group of girls. The waitress hasnt come over YET! She was taking care of her regulars. My friend went to the bar and got us a drink. OH WELL. Saved my money. Came home and ate some leftover spaghetti. Was probably better than there. DONT CARE FOR THE PLACE AT ALL!

Monday 6/24Just stopped for munchies and a drink but had so much fun. Our server was funny and he took good care of us!

Got 2 drinks, neither one was good, and one advertised to be made a certain way, NOT.And was Awful,, no one knew what was going on.

Took forever for our waitress to even come to our table. Our food took forever and when she brought my husbands food she informed me they had no shrimp that I had ordered. I now had to reorder and my husband already had his food. The food was ok but ya service not so much.

We always have a great time at Apps & Taps! We love the beautiful view, amazing staff, & great customer service! The bartender who is also a manager, Brittanie always provides excellent service! I went in there the other night and was unsure of what I was in the mood to drink and she in seconds whooped me up an AMAZING cocktail! There are not many places in Mooresville where you can get all of these things in 1!

It was my first time at apps and taps. We ate dinner downstairs, the food and service was good. We headed upstairs to watch the band. This is a great venue. Beer was reasonable. We had a great time and will definetly be back.
