Fun, fun and fun.... I cant wait for reopening

The local talent is amazing. Weve never been disappointed in our two years as season ticket holders. Everyone associated with MCP does their best to make their shows an enjoyable experience.

This place is one of the best local theaters Ive ever been to. Its important to my family and our friends. Good people, good shows, great content.

Outstanding talent for a small town. A great performance of Mama Mia fully engaged the audience. Amphitheatre style seating indoors, not a bad seat in the house.

Local talent on display! The play Tucker Falls was wonderful! We were very glad to discover some improvement in the acoustics in this 50+ year old live theatre building. We had serious difficulties years ago (unable to hear much of actors dialogues) that we stopped attending for a long time. We can now recommend (at least) front row seating for those with hearing aids & hearing issues.

This makes for a wonderful “dinner & a play” date night for my husband and I. The plays never disappoint and the atmosphere is cozy. We love supporting local talent.

The theater needs a little updating but the plays that are put on are always very good. I just would like to see some new people

Every production we have gone to has been so amazing! We just went to Mama Mia and it was fabulous! They do such a wonderful job!

Having been an actor and fan of theater I always look forward to plays, musicals and these type of events. Having been to Circle Players before I was very much a fan of this organization. However, after last nights performance, My not so funny valentine, I will never be returning. Its to my disappointment and sadness that I have to post this message and I do so with all respect.Furthermore, the plays performance was at a whopping 30$ per ticket, which did come with some tasty treats and refreshments, however once the musical started I was ready to leave. The actors and musicians who are very talented, showed no real interest in the performance and it could be seen. From the get go, the plays motto or theme was completely contrary to what love actually is. To be honest the entire act was the worst demonstration of love I have ever seen. The hosts would often make jokes such as, hey man can I have her back, my wife back after tonights show. Or if you really love him youll share some of him with me. These are just a few examples of how awful this show was. Not only that, but the constant and repeated theme of divorce. Quote: You are married now but not for long. Or dont worry youll soon be divorced. Are you serious Magic Circle Players? This was the most offensive and in your face attack against marriage and love. LOVE IS seeing the beauty of a elderly man and woman holding hands after 50 years of marriage. Love is being their when your loved one is dying, love is holding hands on those lonely, dreadful nights.Love is patient, love is kind, love doesnt envy, it doesnt boast. Love never gives up and it never fails, although you demonstrated that it does give up, it does cut corners, and it will not last.This was the worst play/musical I have ever witnessed and not due to the performance of the artists, but due to the grotesque messages and themes throughout the night. I truly wanted to leave the entire time and only reasons for staying was having spent 60 dollars and hoping it would get better. Although we did leave this event early, I believe everyone in that building should get a refund, because they were ripped off on a dollar store version of love. I could write a novel on why this was the worst and most disgusting version of love, and rebuttal what love is, however I will not waist my time. I am beyond disappointed with this event and it wasnt put together with much thought. The cheap sexual jokes and attacks against marriage was enough for me to never want to support or associate myself, my family and friends with this type of organization. The jokes were not funny, they were offensive, the jokes werent funny and you dont go on stage laughing and joking about divorcing, cheating, lying and stealing. Its so brutally sad when their are so much better songs and demonstrations of love and you decided to not use your creativity but rather use a destructive path of raunchy sexualized filth, and offensive one liners and attacking jokes. Not to mention no warning of the show being soft pornographic demonstration with young kids in attendance. Lastly, not only was I ripped off for 60 dollars, I was cheated out of a date night with my wife that doesnt happen often.

Incredibly talented people...not to mention...ALL volunteers! We have purchased season tickets for 10 years... Never miss a show!

Always a blast! Season tickets are always a great idea. What could be better than a great play and a nice glass of wine! Opening night is always tasty!

Its always a joy to attend a play when Im visiting Montrose. High quality productions, terrific acting and a wonderful sense of community. Keep up that awesome work!

Young Frankenstein was absolutely hilarious,technically well done, great acting, the songs left me gasping for air.

It was a lot of fun to go to a live play. The cast did a great job. I wish more seats were filled.
