Dog River Field

Always a lovely place to take my little dog. So much room to fetch and play, and the river is always a good time for her to play in during nice weather. Most of the dogs weve ever met there are playful, sweet, and never vicious or violent.

Great park BUT it needs to be mowed! It is extremely overgrown! People with dogs need to pick up their dogs poop, its everywhere!!

Great place for field sports but even better for a dog walk and swim.

Good location, however, as a soccer field, need to get rid of the gravel at one end. Unsafe for kids to manage changing surfaces while in play. Thank you, A Concerned Grandmother

Thank God we still have this field for sports practices. After loosing the college green and gym to the college of fine arts, fields and gyms are in short supply.

I had to take a star off for the flooded state of the parking lot. Looked for a spot to walk the dog while visiting Montpelier and Dog River Field fit the bill. Normally dogs arent necessarily welcomed on athletic fields but this complex is the exception. Didnt see much access to the river.

Its two softball fields along the dog river. Very pleasant.

Its a place with nice green ground

Smells like the feces they process at the waste treatment plant across the street... why would you put a rec field next to the sewer treatment?

We play softball here. Sometimes we win, sometimes we lose.
