I had a wonderful time here. My daughter enjoyed her birthday party. I’m glad I did not take the advice of some of the reviews. Yes it’s under new ownership and they are black. They were very courteous. The music was not too loud, so I guess that issue was taken care of and the floor was pretty even. I’m doing a fundraiser and the owner was very accommodating in helping me to make it a success. Check it out for yourself!

I love this skating rink, It is well recommended. If you’re looking for a place to skate and get a sweat this the place to go. The staff has excellent customer service very much so family oriented.

Staff was very welcoming and I loved the family aspect of the environment! Such a cool place!

This place was like an OVEN!! It was hotter inside than it was outside! One of my children couldnt even skate because he got overheated. I was absolutely POURING sweat just sitting on the bench! Dont recommend unless you want your child to have a heatstroke!

Just left an event at this facility! Very clean, staff was extremely professional, and we ultimately had a ball! Definitely go and book your next event at 2211 The Ultimate Play Zone!

“Last minute” birthday celebration was a SUCCESS here today. My daughter ENJOYED her “8th” Birthday!!!!!

I really enjoyed myself and so did my kids. The staff was nice. Not prejudiced like the last owner.

Looks can be deceiving...the new owner would not allow the day time staff to not turn on allOf the AC units in the building which basically made the entire building a melting pot. This is a disservice to the Families and Youth looking for fun non-violent activities in the community of MONTGOMERY and surrounding communities. This was truly a waste of a trip from Selma to MONTGOMERY...the carpet had an odor, the kids sections was run down, unused construction materials were just laying around near the skating rink floor. All of these still didn’t compare to how hot and humid it was inside the building.I would never recommend this place to anyone and would never return. Don’t waste you’re money or time. Travel further Birmingham, Tuscaloosa, heck even Auburn.

NOT a kid friendly place. The music was so loud, it hurt my childs ears. We didnt even put our skates on, just put them back on the counter and left. Incredibly disappointing.

This was a terrible experience for my three girls ages 10, 7 and 21 months. I normally take them somewhere on the weekend for fun. I wouldve thought since the former Looneys was closed down and opened under new management it wouldve been better but this was a disgrace. Looneys was way better than this. My two oldest girls were asking about where the previous owner was. He was a white guy with long hair. They stated that he was very nice and they always enjoyed him when they came to skate and when he came to their school. He even played different games for the children but not the new owner. Now this facility has a black owner (which was stated and pointed out to me today...which was a women). I would not recommend this place to anyone. Whoever the people are in the City of Montgomery that give business owners license they need to come inspect and just shut it down. Here are some of my major concerns that I had....there were not any tissue in the bathrooms and we came around 2:45pm and their was already a big party going on; so why werent their any tissue. My girls and I had to use some of my daughter baby wipes to use the restroom. The MUSIC WAS WAY TOO LOUD about to bust my ear drums so imagine what it was doing to my 21 month old and my other two daughters. We could not even enjoy ourselves that we left after only being their about an hour and 30 minutes which was a waste of my money that I had to pay for myself and my two oldest girls. This music was even louder than the music that be played at the CLUBS for GROWN FOLKS. Then the owners have the nerve to charge and admission fee to the adults even if they are not skating and just sitting on the side watching their children skate and in my case also watching and holding my 21 month old daughter. The carpet was nasty and some of the skates werent in good condition. My daughters also stated to me that the customer service were terrible when I gave them money to buy a drink from concessions. The floor were also uneven that one of my daughters trip and hurt her knee and my other daughter said their was a big hump on the skating floor and she tripped as well and hurt her elbow. Also the owners and the DJ allowed children to be on the floor with balls and trips which is an accident waiting to happened or could be a case of someone being seriously injured. Im just saying. Also on the sidelines their were also building materials, metals and tables flipped over which could also cause a major accident for children as well as adults. If youre looking for somewhere fun to go for your children BEWARE and keep it moving...you DO NOT want to come here...just stick to NEWTOPIA, ROCK N JUMP, CHUCKE CHEESE, ICE SKATING/VIDEO GAME PLAY AREA in Eastdale Mall, GO KARTING/.MINI GOLF on Wares Ferry Rd. or just go out of town somewhere else. If I did not have to give a STAR they would have received nothing (ZERO)

Music WAY TOO LOUD!!! Staff was very rude to me and my family, and floors were very uneven. Skates were in terrible shape. I have no idea how this place had 4.3 out of 5 rating, I would definitely rate this place 0 out of 5.

Great facility, staff is super helpful and nice, food is great and it is a huge upgrade. They really push good old family fun.

IT WAS NOT GOOD ME AND MY MOM WERE HOING TO SKATE THEN IT WAS 5 DOLLARS JUST TO LET MY MOM WATCH ME SKATE AND PEOPLE WERE THROWING SKATES!!!!

The floors are uneven skates are in poor shape A great place for kids to have fun but it needs more updating
