Went here for a play. Was really good. Facility could use a lot of improvement though. Its in an odd location. But at least there was plenty of parking. Sat on folding chairs for an hour and a half. Was a bit uncomfortable. Then again, its an old church (I hear Zelda Fitzgerald was baptized here?) Turned into a community center. So considering, not a bad experience at all. Especially for a charity benefit.

Beautiful and well kept venue for hire.Ive only been to shows/concerts here and every time it is an absolute blast.Montgomery needs a place like this.

Spectacular event space for live music, dancing, community events, and so much more! The historic building is beautiful, the acoustics are perfect, and theres a world class recording studio next door that can feed their sound directly into the sanctuary!!!

A nice intimate venue that has the right amount of character. The inside is a nice open space that you could decorate and setup without being hindered. There are two grassy spaces outside that can be utilized for seating, etc. The parking lot is small, but ample street parking. Its a bit hidden if you arent looking for it specifically. Overall great space that Id definitely use and recommend to others.

Good place to do events, prices can be negotiatable. Plenty of ethnic events happen here pretty often.

Fantastic venue for mid size events.

Beautiful venue but, the young man that opened the venue was very rude. He didnt speak, he didnt give us any instruction on the equipment/ sound system then he didnt answer calls or return text messages regarding questions/ concerns before our event.Terrible customer service.

Original, beautiful, historic, GREAT acoustics, and it supports a hidden gem of an area in downtown Montgomery. Great venue to rent for ANYTHING!

The Sanctuary is a great place to host an event. Its a quaint place with lots of charm and staff.

Good for a wedding but dont expect enough access to it.

The Jubilee Community Center is the host organization for the Sanctuary. Its montgomerys best place to see original art and performances.
