I love coming here... they have everything I need craft wise.... and their clearance isle is so organized and easily accessible compared to other locations I’ve been.

Just like every other micheals. This one usually only has one cashier so if there are more than 3 people in there there willbe a wait.

Cashier was nice. Store was a little all over the place but I cant blame them for that. I know corporate usually tells them where to put stuff.

Good overall. Clerk thought is was more important to have a five minute conversation with staff member getting off work before finishing with me.

Got creative after first grandchild was born. Didnt want to be like everyone else going to the gift shop. Great prices,great service.

I love this location because they usually have what a career artist need to make quality work and get paid. Staff always assists when needed and have never been treated poorly. Waaay better than hobby lobby hands down. Plus i like to use their great coupons on expensive items...d9nt have any pics of my canvases n phone atm but heres some stuff from my notebook i made w supplies bought here and a few of my phsycadellic ice dye designs.

I might be biased because this is my absolute favorite place!! The staff is really nice and have never had a prob using coupons I usually find what I need if not I can do so online which the shipping was really fast. Downside sometimes the store is a bit messy it’s hard to maneuver or find things when the boxes to be stocked are consuming the aisles. I can handle a few boxes but when it’s all over the entire store it can be frustrating to shop. More assistance on the sales floor would be nice also kinda hard to find an associate sometimes.

Michaels is a well stocked store with a friendly staff. If youre going to make some craft-related project, theyve got whatever you need. The reason why I didnt give them a 5-Star review is their lack of cashiers... Michaels would be perfect if theyd keep more than one lane open for checkouts. Waiting to give a store money is really aggravating and its your last impression before leaving.Great selection and staff, less than perfect management strategy for checking out though.

Who knew there was so much arts and crafts stuff here. Found my girl exactly what she wanted. She was happy.

Nice craft, interior decoration, and hobby store. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are fair. Parking lot is free and usually can find a good spot. Has other good shops near it as well.

Good selection, friendly employees. Theyre more about crafts than art, though, so if youre hoping for high-end art materials, their selection is limited. If youre looking for craft supplies to fill a lazy afternoon, theyve got everything you could ever want.

Found everything I needed and it was not expensive at all. I tried the pen paints for my project but they were more like thick chalk I had to return a 2nd time and get regular paint. I thought I could cut down on dry time but it was unsuccessful.

The store seemed clean and organized. Found what we were looking for easily and even better it was 40 percent off. The cashier was super quick and nice. She was friendly and very personable.

This location has a very good selection. Employees here are nice and the facility is well-kept. The pricing is reasonable, but slightly more expensive than Jo-Ann or Hobby Lobby. Today the store was crowded, and the checkout line was very slow. The Prattville location is usually less crowded, but the selection there isn’t as good.

I used to love Michaels but the last few times Ive gone, Ive had a bad experience. Being overcharged, employees being rude, not accepting a gift card I had, etc.

You need art stuff, they got it. You need wedding stuff, they got it. You need pictures framed, they got it. You need a tire rotation and alignment, you gotta go elsewhere.....

Good sale on yarn, cashier was friendly and interested in learning how to crochet. I recommended the Crochet Crowd on you tube is a great place to start, the host Mikey is a great instructor.

Found exactly what I needed and wanted for my wedding

I went in to find something that a family member told me they needed that was on clearance. Had it not been for the very knowledgeable staff, I never would have been able to find it.

I went to another craft store looking for an item they said they had stocked in store. However, could not find what I was looking for. Need less to say I went to Michaels and they had exactly what I wanted and it was on sale. That was a plus plus . And the customers were great too! Everyone seemed so happy.

They have the 12 x 12 big pads of cardstock buy one get two free I stopped up. They also had the eight and a half by 11 ombre cardstock pax 3/10 I am good for paper.

Friendly staff, and a ton of crafting supplies - how can you go wrong? Ive had several pieces of art framed here, and would highly recommend their service.Keep an eye out for deals, they almost always have great things on sale.

What can I say about Michaels? If you need supplies for your hobby this is the place to go! They have an awesome frame shop too. However it pays to wait until they have a framing sale because the regular prices for a custom frame are a bit high.

Quick pick up

Wasnt happy that I couldnt take advantage of a sale because everything in store does not qualify for buy online pickup in store. Even if they have it in stock at the store.

Asked an associate for help and she was ON it! Shalandra went out of her way to push a HUGE ladder over to an aisle where they kept storage for overstock trying to help and searched through quite a few boxes on the top shelf. While they didnt have what I needed, I am so very impressed with the great attitude and willingness to really put effort into helping me. Thanks Shalandra!

I think perhaps if youre looking to draw things with colored markers or pencils or pens this is probably a decent place for you to go if youre looking to do some beading I would just keep on down the road their selection is poor to non-existent. So unless youre drawing or you want to do some fake floral decorations with ribbons then this is probably not the place to go for crafting supplies. I did not see very many Associates out on the floor I was not asked if I needed any help while I was there. I can totally see why there was not very many people inside the store I think their business model is probably a little dated.

I love this place. They are well organized and usually have all my items in stock. Could use more staff. Ive been in and walked out without purchasing anything bc I wasnt able to get the information I needed.

I was able to find exactly what I was looking for very quickly. It took some time to check out since there was only one person as the cashier. There was no one around to give any help.

The capital of craft stores and not over priced if you use coupons. You usually will have to seek out someone for help.

Once again the aliens are thinking they know where I am and when. I have never been in a Michaels. I am tempted to keep my phone covered in aluminum foil when I travel to attempt to keep the aliens off my back!!

Food was good...employees pleasant...many of the drive-thrus are very, very slow...

Poor customer service. Never any one on the floor when you need them. I have been there when they acted like they where doing you a favor of being there. Spend your money at the other Michaels in Prattville. Or better yet go to Joann few doors down.

I go in here a lot but I don’t really buy anything from here. I only have brought a couple of notebooks and some paint. I’m not sure how helpful the staff is, they never really recognized me in the store.
