Ive been coming here for years. Great movie theatre. Their snack bar was great too. I got a flat bread pepperoni pizza with mozarella sticks and a soda. Overall, great place to see a new movie, I highly recommend this place.

Leather seats, electric recliners, a bar inside. Tickets under $20. Id say this place is a huge step up from the rest. The quality of sound and video have been improved. The bathrooms need more attention. The staff need better training as I was next in line at concessions but the kid walked away to fill up the popcorn machine (slowly) I waited about 6 min before anyone responded to me. Maybe next time say Ill be with you in a moment (acknowledge me) almost missed my movie.

If you are into old movies, youll find the Castro Theatre to be a wonderful place. The Pink Panther (incl. on-stage interview with one of the actors prior to the movie), Lawrence of Arabia, Casablanca and sing-along Sound of Music are among the movies I have come to watch here.

I dont really have much more to add to everyone elses comments. 4 stars because this is the nicest theatre anyones ever taken me to..! I typically dislike heading out to watch a movie. If all cinemas were like this one, I might have gone more often though. A much better experience than what Im used to back home!

Endgame was awesome. Shout out to the employees thats were there working all night on Thursday so the fans could watch the movie at 3am

Great spot to see movies for cheaper than usual price, if your a morning person. Plus they have new recliners I believe. A bit smaller than the old ones but just as comfortable.

Smooth and easy trip to the movies with the kids. Line for concessions moved along quickly. Only wish prices were better for a family of 4.

Very comfortable reclining seats. Bottleneck to get tickets. Hint: bring a debit or credit card and use a shorter line.Killer sound system. However, in what Im thinking is a last ditch attempt to keep people interested in seeing movies in theaters instead of streaming them to their TV sets and smartphones; theyve added sound that shakes your seat. Fun for a minute or two but not through a movie.

Nice comfy seats, great surround sound and awesome movies, well worth it! Oh and get some Delicious snacks for the movie!

Saw my hero academia here and it was such a good movie, but to be honest, theres alot of people that cant clean after themselves, hopefully who ever reads this helps the employees and takes out their own trash. But its an awesome theater

This theater has definitely improved over the uears. Its great that the added the full bar, a little pricey, but at least there us one. If Im not mostaken, I believe all the theaters have the cozy recliners. WARNING these seats are so comfy, you might just fall asleep and miss your movie!

Ive been coming to this movie theatre since 1994 and its awsome, freindly and we all feel like home. Thank you AMC you guys rock and continued with tradition and more cooler it has a bar, yeah baby now drink and watch your movie reaxing and much love to that too and Amen.

I love this place! Its one of my favorite AMC theaters in the LA area because its got really comfy recliner seating and the parking is pretty easy. The movie theater is actually pretty well maintained and has been a pleasant experience so far.

There are some pros and cons with this theater. First the pros: you can reserve specific seats. The seats are comfortable leather reclining seats. Now the cons: ok, only one con but it is a major con. i could easily tell that I was in a theater next door to one showing the latest Star Wars sequel. How did I know? You could hear the bass through the walls. At times it overpowered the movie I was watching, making it difficult to hear dialogue. And I was sitting in the back row, toward the center of the theater. No excuse for the walls to be so thin or the movie next door to be so loud.To me, it is a deal breaker not to be able to hear the movie I paid to watch. I likely wont be returning.

Really enjoyed the recliner seats! This theater is smaller than some of the other amcs in the area but its close by the Montebello mall and sometimes its nicer to visit smaller theaters since there is less crowds.

The movie theater is nice but needs more people to work there .

I love this place, definitely wonderful recliners but my favorite part is that I can order all my food, snacks, drinks, etc! On the App so I can skip the lines go straight to my seat and have everything delivered at the exact time I choose by friendly staff. It’s great!!! Definitely recommend it !!

This is the closest AMC to me and theyre pretty decent. ALL the screens are equipped with the reclining seats. There arent as many seats available so I do recommend buying your tickets from the app. Only downside is maybe falling asleep during the movie as it happened to me twice now. Youll hear someone snoring from time to time which pulls you out of the movie due to the snickering.

Great place for movie. The chairs are comfortable at first but made my arm go numb cuz shoulders and elbow sit too high when reclined. Review the seats I suggest. Popcorn is $ 8-9 . Snacks at priced high but the comfort, sound and atmosphere is set for the movie

Here many times. So Im surprised this is my first review. The only thing I can say is to buy the apps offer of like 20 bucks a month, and can see 3 movies a week. Better than paying 14 bucks every movie. Thats obviously if you come to the movies or plan on doing so. Snacks and stuff are outta the question for me as I wont pay 7$ for Skittles that are worth 2, maybe 3$.

This place is very comfortable. They have a full bar. I still cant get used to that.Beer tasted better when we used to sneak it in. LOL!!!!!!!.

What distinguishes AMC Montebello from other nearby theatres is the super comfortable recliner leather seats that will put you to sleep. This feature is comfort defined. The concession stand is well stocked with goodies galore and the workers do a great job moving your order along so you wont miss your movie. This theatre has come along way from its ho-hum past. This is a great movie experience...if you can stay awake.

Its worth it to buy the premiere stubs membership. You can reserve tickets online without a fee and theres a shorter line for food. Their seats are nice because they can recline. The theater gets a bit cold so I bring a jacket. They have the soda machine with tons of flavors. Its a nice theater overall :)

My kids and I enjoyed ourselves very much, since the last time I was there I believe theyve changed the chairs they were very nice

I enjoy the option of reserved seating on AMCs Signature reclining seats to watch the latest cinematic blockbusters. But the Montebello location is getting on in age and its time for some much needed remodeling of the facilities.It is a prime location for a Dolby Cinema theater on-site to serve the surrounding communities.

When we paid for our tickets she only gave us a ticket we did not need and this family were looking for their seats and said,those are our seats we said no, we picked these and the dad went to the worker and she asked us for our ticket and we did not have one so she had to go look at the pitches we made and I just left because we were going to miss half the movie. The manager gave us a 2 movie ticket and he said those tickets are worth more than what you paid for. That was nice of him but still not fair. I was with my son

Pretty nice feel to it. As any movie theater, it does get packed but from my first time experience here, they forgot to clean up a theater room and was all messy. I understand it was a busy day and had employees all around so Id still give it 4 stars, since I dont know if cleaning up every time a movie finishes is a routine thing or not.

Love this theatre, been coming here for years and and I have to say it keeps getting better and better. Stadium seating with comfortable reclining and spacious seating throughout. Special seating reserved for disabled persons is also available. The concessions are plentiful with various food and beverages available. One of my favorite features is the Coca-Cola soda machines that feature hundreds of beverage options; there are also Icee machines for the young and young at heart. Separate bathrooms with plenty of facilities available at least from the mens room perspective. They do have a bar though I personally do not drink so I could not tell you much on that front, I do appreciate that they have a television there that shows sporting events. Immediate parking can be tough to come by during prime time showings, however the shopping mall is big and does have plenty of spots all around. Nearby amenities allow you to make a whole afternoon/evening out of the experience. Will definitely keep coming back!

Theater smells moldy. Restrooms are super dirty. I had been here once before and had a worst experience. Thought i gave it another shot thought maybe it would be better. But nope. Not coming here again. I rather drive a little further and go to city walk. My favorite top notch amc theater

Amazing this is my first time coming to the AMC in Montebello all the employees are super nice. The snack bar was delicious and the employees behind the snack bar where excellent . Before my movie started I try the bar. Wow the bartenders are beyond excellent . Super friendly great with customer service . I would definitely recommend people . I give them 10 out of 10 .

Always a busy movie theater but I am always able to get a good seat for any show even the ones that just opened. Staff is friendly, helpful, and fast when getting moviegoers through the lines.

Its a good place to just watch a film if youre bored. Keep in mind the outside machines to buy tickets dont work. Also some of the rows in the movie time dont have numbers, which is inconvenient since the seats are assigned at ticket purchase.

I went during Christmas season so it was incredibly packed. But that was to be expected, especially in a more smaller location. But in the end, the staff was super cool, reclining seats were comfy, and the location was updated with the nice bar (perfect when youre there to see a kids movie with a big group of kids)Will go again :)

Nice place to come and relax with a good movie night. There was an issue that I hadnt experienced before. I could hear the movie next door. It was very loud and was a bit annoying. I didnt want to miss the movie I was watching so I didnt go complain. I just hope that it doesnt happen next time. I really like this theater.

The food and snacks are very expressive. Yes the seats are comfortable but the snacks are ridiculous they want a arm and a leg from you. Its better renting a red box movie. Then go to 99cent store and get your goodies.

Ive been here before and it was a decent experience, however the screen was horrible. It looked very textured and was very distracting for the movie.

Havent even gotten into the actual theater. LUIS has a s****y attitude. I had to greet him. He didnt even acknowledge us as we were ordering... I had to ask him if he get out order. Idk who hires these humans, maybe the manager was out that day. This guy needs to work in a dark room by himself digging holes or something. This new generation and good customer service doesnt really exist... Sucks for everyone.
