Went the day after valentines with my bf. Directions were easy to follow and we had lots of fun. They even give you extra time at the end to make any touch ups on your painting.

Great place for a bachelorette party or girls night! Had the option of painting wine bottles. Very cozy and inviting.

Love to go paint and wine. The place is good vibe and the instructor are pretty clean explains the steps we need to take to paint.

About a year ago, I came to this location with my mom. It was the first time we had done a paint and sip. Unfortunately, we joined a night that it was someones birthday party, and the group was pretty loud and drunk. The instructor could barely speak above them. The birthday girl kept shouting obscenities and just generally made a mess of things. Although it was no fault of her own, the instructor apologized profusely as we all left. A few weeks ago, I was deleting my old emails and I came across an email from the owner that I had completely missed at the time, offering us a discount to come in again and take another class. I really appreciated this unexpected gesture, and it just goes to show that she cares about her customers experience rather than just collecting money. I will definitely go back and take another class. The price is great for all that you get out of the experience, and the owner is very friendly. She really guides you though the activity, and helps boost your confidence in your art skills!

Pinot’s Palette is a spot on Bloomfield Ave in Montclair for painting events. There are group classes you can sign up to attend in advance or you can rent the space for a private party. You’re given all of the materials you need - the canvas, smock, paint, brushes, and water cup. Instructors do a great job of walking you, step by step, on how to create the model painting. The location is BYO, so you’re free to bring your own alcohol and snacks. Ice, utensils, and wine glasses are provided.

Love this place. Its a great way to disconnect your mind. The place is clean, girls are nice and very helpful. Good option for your family or for friends.

Had a great time. The only thing is parking. Get there before time so you can find a spot! The staff was very understanding of all of us and waited a good 10-15 min for people before starting.

I didnt think I would be able to do it but the girls break it down step by step and are so helpful. Loved the atmosphere.

I went there with my girls for a day out and it was a really nice experience. I would have liked the instructor to be a littlw more lively and excited but that doesnt take away from her skill. All in all, I will gladly recommend

We had such an amazing time during our paint event!! It was the perfect mix of fun & relaxing and my friends & I couldnt have had a better time. The instructor was friendly, energetic, & fun, and broke everything down into super simple steps, so we all ended up leaving after an awesome night with a surprisingly impressive piece of art as a souvenir of our girls night. Will definitely be back!!

Really love this place! Amazing artists and wonderful painting library to chose from for my private party which was a blast! Owner Colleen was so gracious and warm and worked alongside of me to create the perfect party for my birthday! I highly recommend this studio! Best in town.

Great location. The staff is helpful ans friendly. The place itself is very clean and well-organized. You can have a large group and everyone will have more than enough space. Parking can be difficult, but thats like most places in Montclair.

I was there on Saturday - fabulous place still - I was there about 2 years ago with my son, who lives in Montclair, and he took me there. I couldnt believe I was painting a Van Gogh! Very fun and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this upscale studio for any occasion.

This was my first time going to a painting party. It was a lot of fun, and the staff was very friendly. No complaints. Parking can be difficult especially on a Saturday.

Came here for a girls day out. What a lovely place! The artist were so nice and helpful through every step of the painting!

Very disappointed! We had a private event on 12/10/2017 . We had a total of 20 ppl. Our Artist Adriana was not good at all. She rushed through ever step for our painting. When we asked a question she was not very helpful. We had several private events at this location and never experienced what we experienced on 12/10/2017. She basically painted her canvas and left us behind to catch up. She didnt give us enough time to finish one color or part before she moved on to the next step. Very disappointed.

The staff deserves the best. Its amazing how they gracefully help with the painting & have patience with the ones who need a lil help. Very inviting I will be back

Its a beautiful place, she started 25 minutes late after we were told to arrive 30 minutes early. She started by complaining she was alone that night. When informed customers couldnt see her demonstrating, she was rude and said, Im painting, people were talking afterwards how they were falling behind and it wasnt fun any more.

Nice place for relaxing and painting. The instructor was very sweet. She basically guided everyone step by step on how to create their painting. Youre free to modify the colors you use, so everyones painting comes out different than everyone elses which is nice. They have a huge selection of paintings that you can sign up for to make. Theyre open most days with multiple classes per day so its relatively easy to pick a day/time that works and painting that youd enjoy making and seing on your wall. Downside is that if your painting doesnt dry by the time you leave, it may be hard to transport it home, but this minor, and they give you a paper bag to store it in just in case, and a hook for hanging it up. Some of the classes are pricier than others.

Fun with the kids but parking is not fun. Had to do meter parking which meant going out to put in more quarters during the painting.

This was my first time going to a paint and sip and i can honestly say I had a wonderful experience!!!!!!!! the painters were very helpful and make the whole experience enjoyable.. I highly recommend this location!!!!!!!!!!!! Im already planning another visit!!

This location was the WORST!! First off it was overly crouded. Granted it was a Saturday night, but still the lay out was tight and cramped. They played a little bit of old 90s music I was not that into it. We had a large group there to celbrate a birthday and we certaily did have fun although there were other painters there that thought they were taking a art history class and were suhhhing us and being soo rude! The icing on the cake literally was one woman who needed to personally come over and scold us for having fun. The women that worked there did not remain impartial and they treated us poorly. I will NEVER EVER GO TO THIS PLACE again! Try Grapes and Canvas is much better!
