Really disappointed this morning when I got there. Place was empty. Shelves were cleared. Place was great the last 2 yrs n I even went on the 4th and they had n unreal selection. Just terrible. Going to Indiana in the morning to Great Grizzly. Had to go there today because of the reviews I seen for this year. Its all correct. Red Apple is empty.

By far the best fireworks store Ive been to. Huge selection, best prices Ive seen. They were also happy to substitute items that were on my list, but not in the store. These will be expensive trips, but Ill be back for sure! Lots of products from Brothers Heavyweight, Winda, Pyrostar, and more. If youre a fan of fireworks, this place is amazing.

Been coming to this store for my fireworks since it was called motor city fireworks. I know the owner well, his son also. I can’t believe what I saw this year, it’s terrible. There’s nothing in stock, place is empty. Been empty since the end of May.

Customer service was awful no employees to help and absolutely little no cases at the store and they refuse to sell individuals at case price (which I understand) but should clearly state that online. I drove 4 hours to buy next to nothing and getting very average prices at best. Store is in terrible condition water damaged cases from the leaking roof and very poorly kept in general. Dont waste the trip if youre looking to buy in bulk.

I just called the phone # and was greeted by automated response saying the store was open too!!! Thanks allot! I should send you a bill for my time, gas, and mi leage. This is ridiculous.

Highly recommend it to anyone looking for awesome fireworks it’s a little drive from where I’m at but it’s way worth it

After 4 years, might be my last trip. Selection was lacking from previous years, 75% of the items had no price listed, monthly promotion prices werent in effect and honored, had to get price adjusted because they rang up higher than the few prices that were posted (!?), I walked out with half the product for nearly the same price as previous years (prices were 30-40% higher on many items), no Pyro rewards at checkout, no public service extra like previous years...Just doesnt seem worth the trip any more. Might as well just go to a firework stand at this point. Not sure what happened here.

Love shopping there every year except this year. Spent $300 on fireworks and get no points towards anything bc theyre not accepting points this year? I should of went somewhere else bc normally this is the place to go. Not this year

No prices are nothing no time to talk to you my last trip to I was at the Flint store getting away with the brothers fireworks thats some of the best ones

I have heard great things about this company and the prices and service but I was greatly let down. I havent been to any of the stores, but I ordered a shirt from the site. This is during the COVID-19 pandemic so I wasnt too worried about it taking longer than normal. I simple selected the 3 days shipping so I was expecting it to be a week at max. Well turns out it has been over 2 weeks now and I have heard nothing. I havent even got an email confirming my order. I was thinking about ordering actual fireworks in the future but I doubt ill do that considering this experience.

Selection is not very good. They advertise case prices and have very few. Maybe doug should stop hording all the new stock for his store.

No sale items in stock. Barely any items online in stock. Most of the employees were not wearing masks and the ones that were had them around their necks. Most of the patrons were not wearing masks either. I walked out. Its not worth maybe getting Coronavirus for limited stock.

I went to other red apple fireworks store it was good and really clean place but today i went to this store and first thing i see so many big bugs flying around outside the store some are dead and stick on front door disgusting like come on now i was afraid to go inside but still went in and you guys was acting like its nothing so disappointed you guys going lose regular customers sorry

The prices are absolutely unbeatable. But thats just the start..for the price you would expect some water down, low sound inconsistent fireworks. However these fireworks are the best Ive ever shot. The colors, the breaks the over all presentation of fire in the sky is above any other product out there.... and for a fourth a freaking fourth of the cost to go to the kitten tents! Not to mention that it is a family owned MI company! In short you get the best stuff at the lowest prices from a family that lives here.

Great firework store. Open all year round. Has great prices on fireworks of all categories/sizes. They have a No Dud Garuntee. Granted you take the dud and the product to the main HQ, you will get the same firework for free after evaluated by an owner or manager.

I buy a bit of fireworks every year, these folks have one of the nicest stores I have been in. They price match any ad and their case prices arent bad, especially since you dont have to meet a dollar minimum to get case prices.The quality of product is good, they carry several name brands as well as their private label product. I picked up a few cakes as well as a 60g can assortment, liked them all. Definitely check out the Spirit of Detroit set, video didnt do it justice!

This place is great! Try to go in the off season you get some major dealsand the older guy that works there KNOWS HIS FIREWORKS.Will steer you in the right direction. When I travel up to Detroit from Ohio. I always stop in and usually leave with bags of goodies!Place is right off of I-75, 9 miles into Michigan.Its worth the drive up from anywhere in Northern Ohio.OH AND THE BEST YET. No silly Ohio disclaimer/travel/waiver forms to fill out or IDs required as long as you are over 18.

Best fireworks store by far! We drive over 30 min to come here every year, even though fireworks stores are now a dime a dozen. The employees are super helpful, and take time to explain things and show you to what youre looking for. They have tvs in almost every aisle showing the various fireworks so you can see exactly what they do, which is so helpful. Their prices are awesome, and I just cant say enough about how great the service is!

This place was huge. It has a large selection of all types of fireworks. The aisles are well spaced out to allow you room to walk and browse. The prices were well marked and they offered by the case purchases. Friendly staff also made the visit memorable.

This place has stuff you just cant find anywhere else. They have sales for everything (its Wednesday sure lets put stuff on sale) I love them they have sum of the most unique daytime fireworks ever (confetti cakes, parachute cakes, their prices are by far the best I have come across and I love to spend on anything that goes boom. Great staff, awesome management. This place is a must if your in the Toledo area and want to put on a good desplay for your get together.

I love this place, best prices around, extremely helpful staff, they go above and beyond for their customers, best selection and the product is amazing, if I could give this place more than 5 stars id give them 100!! I love how red apple/ motor city is always adding new videos to youtube so the customer can review the products prior to arriving at the store, or if you happen upon a product that you didnt see a video for, the staff are able to show you a product video rigjt there in the store, as muc as I love other stores in the area,I say drive past them ( especially the purple nerple ph*****)and drive directly to this place, cause especially on the 4th an apple a day keeps the booms in the sky!! happy booming
