I could not speak more highly of this particular outlet. I have been going here for all my arts and crafts needs. Most of the staff has been very helpful but I have to brag on the one employee I have dealt with the most. Her name is Stacy and you can tell she lives and breathes Michaels, I have never seen anyone more passionate about this particular field of work and honestly, I am inspired when I go to a place like Michaels looking for inspiration and meet people working there with such enthusiasm. I would highly suggest going to Michaels in Monroe, they have most definitely earned their five star review.

I was able to get this market set for 15.99 and theyre good for me since Im just starting out. Michaels has lots of sales if you can catch them!

Bought an item in Alexandria didnt open it. Went to return it in Monroe and the manager and staff was so rude about it I will never shop there again. Yes I had receipt just after watching videos I realized it wasnt something I was going to be able to do. It was a 400.00 purchase. They refused to take it due to virus and ok i understood that but they proceeded to tell me even after virus they wouldnt take it back.

Theyve really gone downhill and dont carry things I need anymore. And nothing is priced. Who wants to walk everything to the one price checker !

Some of their floral arrangements are ridiculously over priced.

I love Michaels so much! It’s one of my favorite craft stores, however, yesterday on the day of September 29, I was slightly disappointed. I was going in the hopes of buying some Halloween decor. They still had some but it was already on sale for 40% off and very much of it was gone and sold out. It looked like they were already putting it away, as well as genera fall and thanksgiving, to make room for Christmas stuff! Don’t get me wrong. I love Christmas but I wish stores still did how they did in the past and not put out the decor till the month of the holiday! They bring stuff out too soon and put it away too early! It’s too soon for Christmas! It’s not even October yet and they’re already practically out of Halloween decor. If you wanted some from them I suggest you go right now because they probably won’t have any by the second week of October. Even though that’s the month they should be selling Halloween stuff I love Michaels but I’m greatly disappointed right now. It’s not just them though. It’s practically all stores.

They have everything you need to do art and crafts with, from jewelry to toys and paintings. Also have different whatnots to decorate your home and business with.

Public restroom here.Their prices are moderate to moderately high. The atmosphere to me doesnt fit a craft store. The Decor also doesnt fit. My biggest issue with Michaels stores and their Website, is they have lots of choices in stock, except for what you want..... The Frame clerk is never in store a full 8 hour. I been trying to get a Custom frame for two days and theres no clerk on duty. Im told that they would be in about 1pm but when U go back still No Clerk.The service was much better in the old location, and they always had a clerk anytime U go there.

Found a container tote normally $41.99 on sale for $14!!! Its perfect, I always find something that is great.Only problem was the restrooms were out of order.

Over the past year, this location has become horrible as far as cleanliness, organization and having the items in stock that the app claims should be in store even when you “call first” as they tell you to do.

Very talented staff and very helpful. Kudos to management helping out the other day when I needed a glue gun but could not find it. Out of the holy trinity of craft stores I visit, Michaels always has a great selection of paints and yarn.

If you are a crafts type person and love diy projects this is the place to be in regards to the crafts industry. Great people and great products.

My second home, I love this store and they have gotten better final & heat transfer paper.

They have a pretty good selection of craft supplies. Prices seem a little high, but you can usually get a good coupon to bring the prices to within reason. Seems in a bit of disarray most of the times. I would definitely recommend.

I was quite pleased with the selection of yarn at this store. They have a nice variety of yarn weights and materials (cotton, acrylic, wool, bamboo, blends). More than other national brand craft stores. The store itself would do well with better overall maintenance and restocking.
