Its Mellis .... What can you say.

Once you begin to give a walk my dog doesnt matter where you are in this town the best believe hes walking towards mellis Park.

Friendly neighborhood park, with lots of trees, a beautiful playground, it has a Boys and Girls Club right inside the park, baseball and softball fields, along with a large entertainment gazebo and barbecue area, to have events, plenty of parking. Park is located next to the West Modesto Community Center which has lots of resources and events for Youth and Seniors scheduled for the community, and around Modesto.Mellis Park also has the Helen White Memorial walking trail, which is a half mile walking trail with sitting areas along the way.

Great experience....I met an angel Im attaching myself to...Angels of Hope Homes for Women....a divine appointment.

We attended the Juneteenth Celebration today. What a great mix of local and nearby talent! The 2-day celebration started Friday with a youth talent show and continued Saturday. Many people were at the park. All aspects and amenities of the park were being put to full use. Great weather, food and people, all at Mellis park.

Grew up playing in this park

Nice park but to our unfortunate there was to many riff raff in that Park . Although they didnt bother us it was just an eerie feeling of being around there with the small child otherwise a good park to play with your children, just keep a good (EYE) on them

This part of Modesto is questionable, the smell is terrible and rather dirty area. My friend was meeting a lady that was selling baby garmets. I didnt get out of the vehicle. It was funny, cuz its a very busy spot. Its quite, but needs lots of TLC.Then it would be a place to hang out. But for now. Nope!

A nice Family Park with family atmosphere!

This park has a lot of benches spread throughout theres a basketball court a baseball field a community center and they just remodeled one section with awning and benches but theres always local adults and teenagers that linger here partying everyday and a lot of tents everywhere with people living n them :/ dogs off leashes and worst part is the bathrooms are horrible poop blood and pee everywhere stinks and very unsanitary

The park is really nice, alot of kind people around, but do u really think everyone should be so hard on the homeless people. I mean i met a really nice dude (named Tom)that helped me catch my dog this morning and there was even church setting up for tonights revival.they diddnt even attempt to help just looked at me crazy. Well**TOM AND ALL YOUR FOLKS IN THE BACK THANKS. ILL KEEP YOU IN MY PRAYERS.

The restrooms were horrible not maintained at all I felt like I needed a series of vaccinations just from walking in there after I stepped over a guy passed out on the ground I noticed the toilet either wouldnt flush or hadnt been flushed the park itself is almost brand new if they could keep the junkies out of the bathrooms I would give five stars but right now u wouldnt let my worst enemies kids go there
