Melissa at (Rise Softball Academy) has been a great instructor for my daughter improving both her pitching and hitting tenfold! Over the course of three years I have watched my daughter rise to the top of her game and has now been recruited by a college. More importantly Melissa has helped my daughter grow as a person as well as going beyond the game creating a friendship that will last forever! She truly cares about her students and it shows by her actions... During the pandemic Melissa was one of the first to begin zoom lessons to keep our kids safe (unlike other sports academies in the area) Melissa is genuine in her ability to teach and be a person who will always be there for your kid! Every batting lesson has included a life lesson. Melissa has taught my daughter the power of positive thinking and “can do” attitude. My daughter started with Melissa and had no self confidence and lacked a self esteem. Melissa always gives her advice that helps her mindset on and off the softball field. To me her lessons have been one of the best investments we have made.

Ive been going to Melissa since I was really little and shes helped me so much with pitching, hitting, fielding and catching. Shes been my mentor the whole way and shes now like another mom but a best friend at the same time.

My daughter has worked with Melissa with RISE for over two years. Her growth during those years has helped her hone her skills to play on an elite PGF team. Shes attended camps with RISE as well as taking regular hitting, catching, and defensive lessons.
