Had a great time. Was not sure what to expect and it was great. The improv cast was good and entertaining. The food was good too.
We had a great time. The entertainment was good, the service was nice, the food was ok. We will go again. It was a great experience.
Oh my Goodness!Me & my wife took this Dinner Cruise last evening and we LOVED IT!GOOD FOOD, GREAT SERVICE AND STAFF!The lead of the live music asked if any special occasions among the guests, my wife shared with him that it was my birthday & they played special music on my behalf.I highly recommend this for an exceptional experience that anyone should love.
It was great, good food, the crew was fantastic. It was a first for me and my husband but im sure it wont be the last
An anniversary to remember!Dinner and service was spectacular! Social distancing was enforced. Food was delicious and plenty. The ladies that served us did so with such hospitality. After dinner we moved upstairs and danced the rest of our time to the live music that was provided by two amazing musicians. The music for us came from our “years”.We will be cruising again on the Perdido Queen, Lord willing!!
Food wasnt all that great besides the dessert, other then that was a cool date night
Food wasnt that great but overall makes for a pretty good date night
It seemed like a good idea at the time. We walked up thinking this should be cool we were all excited for the fun we were about to have. Then we board the boat get our seats and boom the plot to the murder mystery was some lame Harry Potter spin off like we are all 12 or something. This is the best the improv group could come up with for a boat full of adults. Come on guys LAME!!! The whole plot to the murder mystery was poorly written poorly played out.The food was the worst thing I have ever paid for in my life. We thought the food would have been great coming from DOLPHINS. WRONG! WRONG! WRONG! My wife and I both ordered the shrimp and grits. But it was far from shrimp and grits it was more like a horribly cooked shrimp creole over Quaker grits with under cooked frozen veggies and a little peace of banana cake wth is that yuck the salad was the best part of the meal and the lettuce was all wilted. It sucked we didnt have a good time bc we were really excited to celebrate our 17 yr anniversary this way and ended up very disappointed.
We had a party of 8 friends Sat night for the dinner cruise. We had the best time from the staff being awesome to the captain welcoming us on board. The dinner was amazing and the band was awesome we danced the night away. We will be booking again as this was a awesome experience for all us, so good we want to rent out for a private party as well. I highly recommend anyone interested in going to go. The band played anything we requested and was awesome musicians. I cant say enough about this, but if you do not experience this you are missing out!
We held our company Christmas party this year aboard the Perdido Queen and everything was great! The only complaint we had was everyone wanted it to last longer! Even with the rainy weather, everything went smoothly. The food was delicious, the band was great, and the entire staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. They handled everything so all we had to do was show up and have a great time. I would highly recommend them!
I gave my husband a surprise birthday party aboard the Perdido Queen on November 16, 2019. The experience was AMAZING. The staff was personable and professional. The atmosphere was breathtaking, the boat was comfortable and cozy, the food was magnificent, Dauphins Restaurant did an outstanding job on the menu items.. The guests enjoyed themselves immensely. The band Remix provided the entertainment and a marvelous time was had by all. If your are planning an event, I whole heartily recommend letting the Perdido Queen staff and owners spoil you as they did me. KUDOS!! My event was AMAZING!!
I don’t normally leave reviews but I feel like this place has so much potential that I just have to share my experience in hopes that it will improve because my fiancé & I want to visit again.I’ll start with the positive things. The staff was incredibly nice, the band was awesome, we danced a lot, the boat was nice & clean, we enjoyed the ride. I love that you’re able to place flower arrangements orders beforehand. I was pleasantly surprised with my roses. Now the one negative thing which is unfortunately a big deal. The food was terrible. We were told the food was from dauphin, we’ve ate there many times, so we find it hard to believe it was from there. I cannot stress enough how disgusting the food was. No flavor undercooked pasta, I had 4 tiny shrimps, it literally look like the ramen noodles shrimp, Caesar salad drenched in dressing, banana bread hard as a rock etc We aren’t picky eaters either, this is our first bad experience ever.Fortunately we were in a great mood, we chose to just keep having drinks, dance & enjoy the views. We plan to give it one more try in a few months. Really hoping we have a better experience.
I took my husband for valentines to have a nice romantic evening and dinner. Was not what I expected. Tables were packed in had to sit across from each other. Tables were for 8. Every time someone had to get out the whole side of the table had to get up and let them out. Food was from Dauphins and not that great. We have dined at Dauphins in the past and expected top quality food for the price paid. 250.00. The band upstairs was great and the staff was great and very friendly. This was an experience we had wanted to do but it just did not live up to our expectations especially for Valentine’s Day. We should have just eaten at Dauphin’s for about half the price and we wouldn’t have felt like sardines at the table.
Spectacular! Friends and I enjoyed one of the Valentines dinner cruises. Everything was beautiful, from the view, the food, and the music.OMG, the view. If youve never seen Mobile from the Bay on a boat, this is the way to see it. The view is amazing. Try a sunset cruise. It will make your night.Food was catered by Dauphins which was nice. Now Ill have to try that restaurant for another new experience. The music, the entertainment was phenomenal. Remix was a pleasure to listen to. The songs they sang were great choices for the night. The Perdido Queen Dinner Cruise is an experience to be had. We must do it again.
We purchased the celebration package and I have to comment that the champagne was top tier! We were able to bring the roses home as a memory of the fun we had. Such an elegant atmosphere downstairs with a party upstairs. The family running this is certainly a wonderfully accommodating crew!We were pleased to learn that Dauphins catered our delicious 3 course buffet! From a crisp strawberry and feta salad, shrimp pasta and warm blackberry cobbler we were thoroughly impressed. My aunt wants me to add that she felt like a Hollywood star with the treatment we received. My sister praised the band as one of the best live musicians she has ever heard!I highly recommend Perdido Queen to everyone looking for something new to do in mobile!
Dropped my daughter off at the Carnival Cruise saw the Perdido Queen dinner cruise. My mother and I and my two grandchildren 2 1/2 and 4 years old decided to booked a dinner cruise. We had such a lovely dinner and drinks. The crew was awesome. After dinner we went up top for live music. I do believe my grandbabies danced every song. The music was great and non stop. We will be back and we will spread the word on an awesome experience!!!! Thanks see you soon.Patti
Took my fiancé here for Father’s Day today, he loved it . Everyone was very professional and kept us both entertained . We did the mystery cruise, I loved all the actors especially sugar may and her fan I usually don’t leave reviews but I absolutely enjoyed it.
Loved our cruise! Huge audience participation and the cast was awesome! Food was good and the cash bar was reasonable. We went as a family group, and will go back again
The meal served on the mystery dinner cruise was really bad and I am not a picky eater. It was so bad we had to laugh because we were there to have a good time.
We absolutely love it. They went above and beyond even the limitations about the Covid 19. We definitely coming back
Great place to go very relaxing. The music was great and the the food was excellent especially the blackberry cobbler.
This was truly enjoyable evening. Loved going up and down the river on the paddle boat. The food was wonderful the place was so clean and nice. Wonderful staff waiting on us. They are very helpful with my mom who uses a walker to get around. She had to stay on the lower level but she still had beautiful views.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The music was great and entertaining. The food and drinks are the reason for my 3 star review. The food was catered by dauphins and was terrible. The website reads plenty of sides to enjoy. The dinner was as follows.. a Caesar salad, rice, runny succotash, greens, a pasta, and pork. The pasta was bland and lacked sauce. The pork was overcooked, and the succotash was mediocre. The dessert was a banana cake which was okay.Overall, for a dinner cruise this was underwhelming at best. I will probably not be back. We paid $59 a person and there were a ton of fees involved in addition to the $59 that werent listed on the website. I think there are better activities to spend your money on in Mobile.
We took the dining cruise Saturday 07/20/19 thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff was friendly and attentive. Really enjoyed seeing all the big ships, seeing the new Littoral combat ships and watching the cranes working to load and unload cargo. The view of the USS Alabama in the sunset is impressive. Dinner is as to be expected for catered food, the band worked to help people have fun and enjoy the music.
Nice brunch with music and a good port view
I enjoy leaving positive reviews, so this one was hard to do. I booked a 9pm - 1130pm dinner cruise for my boyfriends birthday, and couldnt have been more disappointed. Im not sure if it was the time of day, but for the price you pay ($60/person), youd expect to have quality food. We were served canned vegetables, rice, and a choice of practically frozen shrimp or tough, low-quality pork, and a caesar salad. The live band was merely a band mostly lip syncing with a few songs here and there sung by one of the performers, par at best. Ive taken other dinner cruises, and this was a total disappointment. Please do not waste your money on this. You truly are better off going to a nice dinner spot on Dauphin Street instead.
Perdido Queen Jazz brunch cruise was amazing! Family & friends celebrated my moms 73rd birthday! The atmosphere, music, food and drinks were great! The hostess were the best, very friendly, engaging and attentive! This cruise was the perfect getaway for a birthday!
Great time. Staff was fabulous, food was great, and musical group was very talented. Will definitely do again. The only thing that would have been better is if we could have had a longer time on the boat.
We had a great time. Staff and actors were great. My only complaint is that the food was less than desired.
I was happy with the cruise but extremely dissatisfied with food. Could not eat what was served as I do not eat tomatoes.
Fun trip, food meh, entertainment meh, company and atmosphere big yeah. I would go again.
We went on the dinner cruise Aug. 3, 2019 and it was a fantastic evening! The staff were all very professional and some of the best Ive ever had for any function! The food was 5 star quality! We were celebrating our 34th wedding anniversary and it was so much fun! Thank you to all!!
Really great brunch cruise. My wife never been on any cruise. And she always said she would never do a cruise because she scared of water. But the Perdido Queen was a very nice brunch cruise. Now she is ready to take a big cruise. I recommend this cruise for a wonderful date night or just a group of friends. The brunch was awesome too.
This was an amazing trip. Food was great. Staff was amazing. View was amazing. Will go again.
We hosted my sons rehearsal dinner there in August. It was amazing! Captain Willie and Anna made the whole night so memorable. The boat really is its own decoration. I literally just showed up and laid some sun flowers on the table, and the whole place looked fantastic. We absolutely loved having the food downstairs with the bar. The view of that sunset is stunning from any location on the boat. And, with the caterer they are currently using, the food was over the top. Chicken and Conecuh Pasta, Shrimp and Grits, and Barbacoa Pork. My guests loved having the options. Top it off with Blackberry Cobbler and Key Lime Pie. Soon after the toasts, the wedding party and friends were dancing on top of the boat with the Musical Fantasy Band with Darlene Henderson singing Proud Mary while we cruised through Mobile Bay. Unbelievable! Have I said enough? I cant recommend this experience high enough. The memories are priceless. Definitely for a group. Rent the whole boat. A work party; a wedding; a family reunion. 10+ on a 5 scale. Thank you so much to all the staff of the Perdido Queen!
My group of ladies chose this years Mothers Day lunch on the Perdido Queen and we had an amazing time. The food & atmosphere was wonderful. We enjoyed downstairs for dining & then went upstairs to enjoy the live band & outside atmosphere. Captain dad was a delight. We are already thinking of planning our next trip.
Had the pleasure of dining and dancing at a wedding rehearsal dinner on Friday August 2nd.What an amazing time we had!Food was awesome!Waitstaff was awesome!Band was awesome!Captain and boat staff were awesome!!The grooms parents could not have picked a better place!
Fantastic Corporate Team Building Event! Our Team had a terrific time enjoying the lovely Perdido Queen, a delicious dinner, wonderful band, and the beautiful waterfront of Mobile. Thank you for the hospitality.
We had a great time on the cruise. The dinner was catered by Dauphins, delicious. The crew was very friendly. Looking forward to doing the Murder Mystery Cruise at some point.
Excellent cruise, dinner, and entertainment!! I highly recommend it!! Great staff, actors, Captain & vessel! Keep up the great work!
We had so much fun on the murder mystery cruise! The actors were entertaining and engaging, and the food was soo good. It was served buffet style so the staff said we were even able to get seconds, after everyone went. The bartender was very helpful and helped us choose one of their house drinks, it was so yummy! We will definitely be back, and highly recommend Perdido Queen!
It was a great experience. I was apart of a party of Twenty-One. The ship was very full. Our party was placed in the back of the ship. Which was uncomfortable cause the chairs we’re back to back. We barely could breathe. We payed for two entrées and a choice of the desserts. A few members of our party didn’t receive a dessert 13 people . The yellow rice, shrimp pasta, and the pork was extremely dry. I was tell you guys we were supposed to have two entree’s which means two differences meats . Oh yes they ran out of chicken before our table were able to eat. On the other hand the band was amazing. The waitress wasn’t experienced enough to deal with a huge party by herself. I might go back . A BIG might.
I was a part of a group of 33 Senior Adults from a local Baptist church that enjoyed the Perdido Queen Lunch Cruise today. And that was in spite of the threatening weather conditions. The food was delicious (pork roast, shrimp pasta, green beans, rice & black beans, caesar salad, cake, sweet tea). The 2-piece jazz band was a delight, particularly as they played You are my Sunshine and When The Saints Go Marching In. The service was spectacular and the scenery every bit as good!! We went to the Battleship and the hostess was very informative as regards the history of the USS Battleship Alabama. Overall, a wonderful day with excellent hosts! I could definitely recommend this trip and hope to visit for an evening cruise next time.
We had a wonderful time on the dinner cruise. The servers were extremely attenuative and friendly. The food was delicious and the band was great. We celebrated a 50th anniversary and everyone enjoyed the evening. I would highly recommend this venue.
My family of sixteen enjoyed the brunch cruise on Easter Sunday. The staff is very nice, friendly and knowledgeable of the Mobile area. The food was delicious and the Jazz band added to our day. We are currently planning to have other family outings on the Perdido Queen.
We decided to have our Office Party on the Perdido Queen for a dinner cruise. It was absolutely wonderful!!! The Staff was amazing and the Band was Great!! We plan to make this an annual event!!
WOW!! What a fun adventure!! We took my mom for her birthday and had a fantastic time. The food was delicious- we waited a bit for it but we were very satisfied!! The staff was so wonderful!!
Loads of fun! Great food and a fun show.
We had friends and family in town for the weekend. We also have family that live in Mobile, and thought this would be a nice way for all of us to be together. It was . The food was excellent, as was the three piece jazz band, and the cruise enjoyable. I would definitely do this again.
Took the murder mystery / dinner cruise.Dinner announced as a buffet but amounted to one meat selection (overcooked BBQ), grits, some very overcooked vegetables, bread and a pre-made salad. Plus they dished up the food and controlled serving size...so no, not a buffet. As far as the play....was improv... and you were supposed to solve a murder. The play as presented made very little sense, noone had any idea what at was going on, and the acting was amateurish.
The cruise was awesome and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I loved everything but the price was steep for brunch and what was served but the experience was great.
Wonderful experience great food nice vibes I just wish smoking was permitted
The cruise was wonderful my sisters 60th birthday celebration surprise was a success. The band was great, and so was the service and atmosphere of the host and hostesses. The food was not good, it was over cooked and not very tasteful. Dauphines restaurant was the caterers to my understanding, I have eaten there in the past. But if the food served on the cruise is any indication of what they are servicing now, I will not eat at Daphines in downtown Mobile .
Had a wonderful time. We would definitely do it again. Very nice way to spend an evening.
Very nice time, good band, and a beautiful view of our city at sunset. Great date night,
I thoroughly enjoyed the dinner cruise!! The captain and crew were so welcoming and incredibly accommodating to our every request. I wish I could’ve given 5 stars however the food wasn’t the best. The pork tenderloin was tough, the Caesar salad was decent however the croutons were soggy, the rice was al dente’ and the remaining vegetables were just ok. Wish I could’ve rated my experience perfect but part of the great ambiance is the meal and frankly it needed some constructive criticism. I would definitely go on another cruise .
Food, music, and service was exceptional.
First, the band and was fantastic! Enjoyed upstairs. Downstairs seating too close and food was not good. 16 if us for mothers day and no one liked it. Need new caterer
Had THE BEST Lunch Cruise with Perdido Queen!! Lunch was great!! Captain Bob took care of us!! We had 48 in our group and the had a blast dancing to the tunes from the band!!! Thanks to the entire crew!!!!!!
Enjoyed every aspect of it very friendly crew members live band was awesome the atmosphere was finely set And in tune with the event
