Great place for a birthday party! It was a wonderful way to spend the day. The shelter was next to a little play ground which was nice. The tables were wooden and in excellent shape. It had electric outlets and even though we brought our own grill, it had a big grill onsite. The only downfall is most of the bathrooms are shut down due to COVID-19.

A big beautiful well maintained park. Moberly should be proud! The bathrooms by the playground have always been so clean and well kept. The dog park is amazing. Love this place.

The mini Moberly train located inside the park was so much fun. The people were very nice and friendly. They offered to help take pictures and just made the overall experience welcoming.

Very clean, the weather has been nice and the park has some gorgeous views depending on where youre at right now. Pathways are flat enough for our baby stroller to be pushed on without catching anything. Just a very good park for a family day even if you have babies

The most beautiful park around. Lots to see and things to do. From wildlife to ridding the miniature train. Just a great place to go and relax.

Rothwell is a large park. There are several areas to fish, large walking trail, and a dog park. This is among many available amenities such as grills. It is a great place to spend some time outside.

Beautiful park. We had some trouble with the city in reservation for a shelter. Two of the park rangers did us a favor in getting a shelter for our grandson graduation. Rangers Craig and Rod. We greatly appreciate what done for us. Thanks. Blackwells

Great local park with beautiful trails, lakes, playgrounds, camping, fishing, even archery and disc golf. Huge oak trees are everywhere, and its a particularly gorgeous sight in late fall. We really enjoy this park and visit often. We love the variety.

Ive been coming here for the entire 35 years of my life and still enjoy the variety of activities to the relaxing, peaceful, serenity I find here.

Sat for a short time on a bench overlooking the lake. Really pretty sunset and some geese on the lake made it perfect. Will definitely go back.

Open area to play, swing sets and fun slides. They have picnic areas and BBQ grills set up and you can rent shelters for partys. Walking trails for every ability and rest places along the way. We love our parks

Local park quiet and enjoyable

Moberly and Randolph County are so fortunate to have Rothwell Park. It is used by such a diverse group of people. The trails, ball diamonds, fairgrounds, and lakes are so nice and beautiful.

Love this place! The walking trails are wonderful and challenging. We held our kids graduation parties here and the facilities were top notch with plenty of parking.

One of the best parks in the state. I absolutely love it. Wonderful walking trail, sports areas of all types, dog park, picnic areas, a meditation garden, and the beautiful lake. Lots of wildlife, well kept areas, as well as natural areas.

Moberly’s biggest park. Acres of lakeside picnics, playgrounds, archery range, water park, lights at the holidays, sports, and 4th of July fireworks. And a lovely park trail for year round exercise.

Still as beautiful as it was when I was a child. Makes me miss small town living.

Great place for families to visit and go walking even for your furry family

Beautiful park with walking path, dog park, multiple shelters, playgrounds, archery range, mini-railroad, pool and 2 seperate 18 hole disc golf courses.The Lakes course is wonderfully designed. It pretty much handrails the walking path/road as o.b. on one side for the front 9 making navigation strait forward. Fairways are short mowed grass and well defined with steep dense underbrush filled draws being opposite the path or road. Water is definitely a potential hazard on several holes (4,7,15,&18) as the course name would imply. The back nine take you north across the road winding through mature oaks, topography intuitively funneling you to the next tee box when the path isnt. You will find yourself finishing out facing east with a short walk up hill on the path to where you started and hopefully parked! Another notable thing about this course, holes 4, 5, 7, 10, 13, 15, and 17 tee from well elevated positions in relation to the basket. Extremely fun course to play!There is another 18 hole course on the far northwest edge of the park that starts behind the lodge and arena close by the entrance off U.S. HWY 24. That is all I will say about that course.

Went there for a wedding - it was easy to find and the park was very nice.

This place is amazing. Plenty of trail walking, archery, a mini train, frisbee golf, a statue, paddle boats, canoes, and camping are just some of the things it has to offer!

Beautifully kept park. Spacious, large trees big lake for fishing. Smaller lake as well. Two 18 hole discgolf courses. The lake course is a great challenging course. They have a small train for kids to ride on. Play areas. At least two. Plenty of shelter/ pavilions for gatherings. Water hydrants for use . Public restrooms. At least one is air conditioned, corrales for fairs and rodeos. Dog parks, baseball fields. Its a great public park. One of my favorites in the local areas. Camping and a pool as well. Take your family and spend the day or two.

I grew up in Moberly and have many great memories of spending time at Rothwell Park. The park has always been well maintained. There many fun activities to enjoy in the park such as fishing, sports, picnics. The 4th of July celebration is enjoyed by all.

This park is unique in that its benefactor brought in plants from all over the world & they have thrived in this non-indigenous place. Well worth a visit or three! Just lovely.

Went to a Birthday party here and had a great time

Had my fathers 80th birthday party July 4th. The ramada by the tennis courts is great. We had a big rain come through and were well covered. Great parking we had 50 people. Air conditioned restrooms. Great park overall.

Outstanding recreational opportunities for a city the size of Moberly. Come just to ride the park train, a true hidden gem.

Good example of what an urban park can be. Lots of amenities. Especially liked the tribute to Omar Bradley and veterans.

Really enjoy the bike trails ....Water works lake is a good trail head to enter!!! You can bike around the lake finger and exit out by the camp ground about a 1 mile trail there and plenty more to explore!!!

This park is beautiful! It is home to the swimming pool and waterslide park. There are covered pavilions for events, water for fishing and paddle boats and canoes. Plenty of hiking paths. A dog park and several playgrounds. A great place for birthday parties in mild weather
