I always look forward to Thursday bc thats pottery night! I think of this more as self care rather than a hobby. Its great place to just focus on whats in front of you and just work away all the weeks frustration. With such great people in my Thursday group, its basically group therapy! Oh, and you can make a bowl too. Sweet deal, amirite?

I’ve been taking classes with Amy for 3 years now and she is a fantastic teacher. She is honest with you and genuinely wants you to grow. She is patient and truly wants the best for you and your learning experience.Oak Knoll Pottery is clean and well organized. There are plenty of studio amenities that are convenient and well maintained. There’s a FANTASTIC park behind the studio that’s great for walking breaks and windows to watch the sunset as you throw.Amy also has pottery starter kits if you need to purchase one. It’s a convenient location and there are food places nearby. It’s the best place to be if you’re looking to play with mud!

Awesome place for learning how to make pottery from scratch!! Amy is wonderful!! Shes patient, humorous and enjoys sharing her vast knowledge pottery with you!!

I have been taking pottery classes for almost a year now, and I LOVE it! Amy has taught me so much, and I have gone from knowing nothing about clay, to being able to make simple bowls by the end of the first lesson, to now making more complex items. Oak Knoll has a large studio space, and it feels very clean and bright. The studio has glazes and paints available, so if you get to have a lot of freedom to decorate the pieces you make. There is also a little gallery area where you can buy pieces for sale. If you are an arts and crafts nerd like me, or if you like the paint your own pottery places, I highly recommend trying this place for a month.

This is a great facility with everything you need to get started in pottery or to continue your craft. Amy is amazing and will work with you at your skill level as well as your speed. Shes good about challenging you but being there to help you when needed.Seriously. Go see Amy. Do pottery. :)

Theres no such thing as a bad time at Oak Knoll Pottery! The owner and head teacher, Amy, is always laughing and her joy is contagious. She is extremely patient, passionate, and knowledgeable about both teaching and pottery. The studio itself is beautiful with lots of a parking available. There is a wide selection of glazes available for use, as well.If you are interested in trying pottery, I highly recommend starting at Oak Knoll. You will feel at home in no time.

Relaxed pottery class. Allows you to progress however you like and focus in on what you want to learn. You can do which ever peices you are interested in. Lots of extra studio time outside of class time included with the class price, to use at your convenience. Teacher is very helpful and knowledgeable.
