Great park, well maintained. I wish they didn’t cut down those two large trees this summer (2019) and the new park doesn’t have any small kid options (3+ years) but it’s still a lovely place to go.

This place has always been beautiful to me. The Angel holding the soldier was way worth visiting. For 20 years it has drawn me to Missoula and to finally come face to face with him was moving. Beautiful! Respect to the fallen and love to the lost.

Seems like everytime I go there theres some rose bushes and trees completely destroyed with branches and leaves all over the walkways. I spent about an hour cleaning and clearing a bunch of rotting plant matter and branches and leaves off the memorial last time.. ugh. Shouldve taken pics.
