Google maps needs to correctly identify the site!! It is NOT the driveway off Pattee canyon marked as 3150. Please consult a real map or be ready for very disturbed private property owners in your face.

Prepare for some hills and beautiful scenery. Make sure to take a map and guidebook as well as plenty of water with you because it connects to other areas such as mt sentinel and if youre not from the area its possible to get lost or accidentally take a 6 hour hike

My daughter took me hiking out here on a beautiful fall day in late October. Multiple trails, good amount of parking, dog friendly and a gorgeous view of Missoula at the top!

Great place to hike. Gentle grade and wide road. Many spurs. Dog friendly.

Absolutely, stunningly beautiful. Well maintained paths that are clearly marked. Probably not up to snuff for the expert/advanced hiker, but I cant speak to other peoples fitness needs.We wound up about 2700 feet above where the trail started, so there is indeed some sort of challenge. Its also dog friendly (remember leashes, people!).Really, highly recommended.

A beautiful and quiet area, just outside of the heart of Missoula. A great place for hiking or taking your pet for a walk.
