Always seems to have something going to entertain yourself. Everything from homeless people to surfing and the wooden play area or whatever your in to. Music can even be heard if you time it right. Or a truck with a kitchen sometimes. Farmers try to make money there Ive heard. I have never actually seen them make money, but I have heard about it for sure.
Nice park on the water. I do wish the bathrooms had been open though especially after paying for parking.
Missoulas popular downtown park that is next to the Clark Fork River. Usually there is lots of activities through the summer, but sadly the virus has limited them. You should still check it out, there is space to be socially safe. A handful of food truck vendors show up through the week and weekend. So opportunities to support a local business and get your favorite food truck grub.
Nice place, especially in the summer. Lots of places to walk along the river with benches to sit and read if that’s your style.Fun to watch people surfing the rapids on the Clark Fork. There are events under the tent when the weather’s warm. Definitely worth a trip to hang out and relax.
Great place to have a party or attend an event. Many people don’t know you can rent this entire place and it makes for a great venue for a wedding, etc. highly recommend attending the next event you come upon while downtown. The river action from cayakers, surfers, etc is also awesome and super unique.
One of the best places in missoula to smoke weed
Great place to have a lunch date. Or to just chill.
Caras park is awesome. One of my favorite places in Missoula
Its a great place to walk your dog and be social. However dont go alone after dark.
This place has all you need, fun, food and ice cream.

Its a beautiful park along the river.
Great park but unfortunately alot of homeless people:(
Great place to relax or find some entertainment.
Lovely waterfront. Wish the path was wider for walkers and bicyclists to enjoy!
We had never been to Missoula before it was cool loved seeing the the kayakers and river surfers
Definitely a place to check out when in Missoula. Icing on the cake is the food trucks around noon.

Love the peacefulness of the sound of the water
Beautiful. Some graffiti, college students hangout.
Beautiful place to visit, close to downtown Missoula.
Fantastic park. the playground is very cool and our little 1 year old was able to cruise around and climb on the structures. Also the carousel was a big plus. Super fast and as an adult I think I had more fun my the kids on the ride with me.
Lots of good times there
Same name as me so we had to go here while visiting a family member in missoula
Fun for the whole family.
Very nice for either a family or
Beautiful spot nestled between downtown ans the river. Bring your lunch and enjoy the grass or a bench in the shade. Then stroll the Riverfront path - it makes a nice loop on both sides of the river.
Fun place to go on Thursday nights in the summer. Theyve got live music.
A lovely greenspace next to the Clark Fork River in the downtown area. This is the place to go to walk along the trail, watch the river surfers catch a wave, enjoy a free concert and visit the farmers market. FYI parking can be a bit tricky. I try to use one of the city garages as its only a short walk to the park.
Love to go enjoy the events here
Nice park with a great view of downtown and the river.
It was fun to watch the surfers.
Great scenery and an amazing view!
We went to an amazing farmers market there. I would love to go back when it isnt as smoky.
The horses on the carousel or hand carved here in Missoula very awesome. Theres a place called Brennans wave down here at the park as well people like to do Boogie boarding surfing kayaking practice on this also very awesome
Kids loved this park with nice large play area with lots of options. Fenced area. Food trucks nearby. Good parking.
I love Out To Lunch on Wednesdays in the summertime. The food and atmosphere were awesome. If you havent been, it is well worth taking the time to go. Wish I lived here.
I Love Love Love this park~ theres the carousel & also Dragons Hollow wood play area/ structure. The gift shop too is realiaticly priced & nicely stocked.Dont forget to check out Brandens Wave & see some phenomenal canoeing & water activities! Lastly, the out door music venue is ultra sweet & a must do in the Spring & Summer months.
Cool place to visit.
It was a delightful venue for those in Recovery.
This is a very cool interesting place
We enjoyed our visit to Caras Park. It is a unique and fun place in the heart of Missoula. We were there on a hot day and watched dozens of people floating the river to stay cool.
A great place with several events every week, great spots to sit and chill friendly people all around. Worth a visit while downtown-
Life peace.
Great park by the river. Walking and jogging trail. Pavilion, concert space and Farmers market location
Downtown Missoula on the river near the U of Missoula. Relax when its warmer
Pretty river views
Theres always something going on to enjoy. They have the carousel and Dragons Hollow for the kid to have fun!
I love it. It draws in lots of people and venues. live music, beer tastings, art shows etc. Casual picnics and bike rides of downtown make this park a great central location.
Really cool downtown vibe. You can walk along the river that people are floating, kayaking, or surfing. Farmers markets, live music events really whats not to love.
The hub for downtown Missoula music and eats scene. Frequent live performances with various food trucks serving fine foods. A nice stage for performers and grandstand seating for music lovers.
This is such a cool place in Missoula. Downtown is so close to here...Or this is so close to downtown...Either or. Come and see it!
Always a great fun and entainment alive here in the park. Even if no event is happening its a great place to walk and enjoy mother nature and enjoy the fresh crisp air. Close to resturants, theatres, shopping and on the river wherr u might catch someome river surfing, floating or even fishing. A must see while in town. Was here during the Womens March 2018.
Great events all summer long. So much to do and see within a few feet of Caras Park. Bike riding, live music, local food and the Clark Fork river.
Lovely views from the walking path and events are pretty fun
Beautiful park and very well-kept. We were just passing through and stopped to see the fall foliage. It was everywhere and absolutely stunning. This is a great spot to see the beautiful river too. We loved learning about the carousel in the history room. What a genius idea to build it there and loved that it was a community effort!
There are regularly great events, and fantastic food carts at Caras. When there arent, theres a fantastic view, or the carousel.
Nice park in the middle of Missoula Montana. The pavilion is nice and a great spot to hold the race expo for the Missoula Marathon. Be sure to look for surfers on the river!
We loved this area. Great place to take the kids to play or ride the carousel.
Free parking in the evenings and on weekends. Tons to do and see:Very quick carousel with a fun twist where you grab rings from the mouth of a dragon each time you go around. The person that gets the brass ring wins a prize. There is a huge playground with very modern play equipment and musical instruments incorporated into it. Go check out the wave in the river where kayakers push against the wave so they can launch into the air and do dunk flips
Great place in town for Saturday farmers market or for weekend events or just for a casual walk on river side trials.
My favorite park when in Missoula.
Nice place to play Pokemon
This park was very nice and clean great river views and great for a walk with the family and dogs.
Always great to go to Caras Park. Take the kids or yourself for a ride on the best Carousel in the Western United States. A Carousel for Missoula. And right nextdoor is Dragons Hallow. A great time for the kids. Usually there is some form of live music at most events. Out to lunch on Wednesday, and Dinners in the park on Thursday evenings. As well as a number of other events.
The downtown commission is where you go if you want to rent the performance space.
Love the new renovations making the park even more accessible for my son! What a beautiful place and idea!!!
Honestly it was good. My issue is it was still mostly disorganized as always. The drinks were good but the food was costly. We walked a short distance and found food cheaper.
Rent a tube 10$ at 10,000 tubes nearby park in Cara park and walk up stream. Surfs up! Bridge jumping, otters love liz
Amazing park in downtown Missoula and right on the river!
Nice place to meet people go for walks
Lovely green area

Very pretty. Dog friendly.
Love having this park and lake right across from the airport. Beautiful park!
Beautiful views of downtown Missoula, the Clark Fork (Brennans Wave) and the rest of the valley. Always bring visiting friends and family here
Best place to meet up friends downtown. Always a great view.
