First escape room tonight. Did the Alice in Wonderland themed room. We finished with just 3 minutes left; what an awesome experience! Will definitely be back for more!

Super fun birthday for ou 12-year old. Game was pretty hard, but they loved it nonetheless. Make sure to plan on an extra 15-20 minutes of arrival before your time slot for orientation. Also, the house is beautifully restored, and they use all the space for many great games, but that means there is not a space for gathering for a party.

My dad and I drove up from Bozeman and did three rooms over a two-day period at Big Sky Breakout. Each room was creative, well thought out, and had fun puzzles. The game masters were great about pointing us in the right direction without giving us full blown hints unless we asked. I was very impressed by both the rooms and the people that worked there. I would love to go back again and play new rooms when they are available.

Really fun and professional breakout company. Did the Depot puzzle and was very impressed with the craftsmanship of the room. Kind staff working the games too. The strict mask policy of Big Sky Breakout made me feel safe and comfortable visiting.

So far, Ive had the pleasure of doing three of the rooms with a different employee running it each time. All of the people there are absolutely wonderful! The rooms are so much fun, definitely one of the more put together escape room places I have been. They do a great job at accommodating their guests during the pandemic. They make sure everything is clean, they wear masks, and we social distanced. If youre looking for something fun to do in Missoula definitely stop in!

We had a great time there! The staff was always kind and energetic, and also helpful with hints when we were struggling! I am definitely going back next time I am in town and doing to bring more freinds to play with!

So. Much. Fun!My family and I have done a couple rooms here and it’s always a blast. I’m completely blown away by just how fun each space is and the different plot lines. The staff is incredibly friendly and then keep the game moving! This is a perfect way to pass an afternoon with folks!

Me and my boyfriend did the thru the looking glass room and it was absolutely awesome! It was pur date night, we had to work together, no cell phones and really use your mind which is something I feel we dont do as much of as we used to becuz everything we need or want to know is in the little electronic box we call a cell phone! Id definitely recommend for anyone!

Who knew opening locks could be so exhilarating! Super fun and the puzzles were harder than expected but so satisfying to complete. Definitely going to try another room!

Always a fun time at BSB...the exception of today was one of the clues had malfunctions and had to be interrupted twice while it was fixed. Lost our momentum and an element of confusion if that was the way it was suppose to be or if it was broken. Another comment was the clues were in rather small print. Otherwise good job on the creativity. See you in December!

This was our first breakout experience and it was awesome. The owner greeted us upon entering, very friendly. His employee who explained the process, what to expect, how to get help, and everything in between was so helpful and very personable. The breakout room itself was VERY fun! It was trying at times as you really had to put your thinking cap on, but the experience and the layout of the room was an A+ for sure. Will go back for sure, and I highly recommend this place.

Ive done both the Alice in Wonderland and the Deception Depot and they were both amazing. We all dressed up to theme and enjoyed our experience so much. This is challenging and fun but also achievable. The staff was fun and helpful as well. Couldnt suggest a better time with your friends or family!

SOOO fun! We did the “Through the Looking Glass” room and LOVED it. I had never done anything like this before and had a great experience. Shout out to Jasmine for her expert clue-giving and friendliness! If you’re on the fence about doing this, you won’t regret it!

Heres the deal. I dont write reviews for things so this is obviously important. Drop everything youre doing and go try one of these escape rooms. I honestly cant believe it took me this long to try one. What a fun experience. Well be back!

Super fun activity to do with friends or family. We even took our 7 year old on the outdoor breakout for his birthday and he loved it!

These escape rooms are UH-MAZ-ING and I 100% reccomend them for dates, team building, birthday, whatever. Ive done all 4 rooms at their north 2nd street location, and each one had unique and clever riddles (with super helpful staff, if you get stuck) that made the hour feel like 20 minutes. My favorite is their Alice in Wonderland room, it really forced me to look at things from different angles and think outside the box. 10/10 will absolutely be returning

There were 6 of us. It was a Blast! We did Deception Depot. It was hard to get started, but they give you lots of clues along the way. We were one step away from completion.. Ugh! Makes you so much more excited to go back and try another room. Looking forward to trying the summer outdoor room! Thanks for a great time!

This was way more fun than I could have imagined! Took my 9 year old niece and 7 year old nephew with Grandma and Grandpa and EVERYONE loved it. The staff was amazing and made sure it was a great experience for us all, thank you very much. Can not wait to do it again!

First escape room experience and it was AWESOME! We walked out the door and started talking about coming back. Staff was super friendly and awesome. The art was spectacular and whoever sets up and designs these games, bravo.

The room was fantastic, it was my second time doing a breakout room here, and this was just as fun as the first time. I used this as a team building activity for employees and was not disappointed in the collaborative effect it had. Highly recommended for fun and/or team building.

Operation Checkmate!A fantastic exploration of downtown Missoula. My wife and I did this with another couple and it was a lot of fun.We certainly werent the fastest, but had a great time walking and exploring downtown.Lots of great clues to follow and puzzles to solve.We have done a few inside escape rooms, but this was our first outdoor one and we loved it.The folks running it did a great job and are super friendly and nice. We highly recommend it!

This is an awesome place to go to explore, learn, think, work as a team and COMMUNICATE with each other!!!! I absolutely love how you disconnect and have fun with the people you are with! Without the cell phones always ringing, texting...etc!

Big Sky Breakout is amazing! If you’re looking for a study break, something new to do on the weekends, or just a fun outing, choose this! My escape room partner and I have tried four of their games and absolutely LOVE the new additions. Honestly some of the most fun experiences of my junior year of college came from inside the Yellow House!

We had a great time at our visit to Big Sky Breakout! We had a wide spread age group of people and everyone enjoyed it. The staff was very accommodating and the game difficulty was perfect for our group.

This place is so much fun! We went at Christmas and then again this past weekend. Whoever designs these games are really good at it. We however, did not make it out in the time allotted but had a great time anyway.

Loved the experience! It did suck that we had 2 people cancel last minute and the ones who did show up had to cover the costs of those 2 people. But other than that, we had a great time!

We planned to do this with my mom while she was in town but her flight was delayed so my husband and I went with only the 2 of us. We had such a blast! The Through the Looking Glass room and the clues just kept going and going, we were so happily suprised and engaged every step of the way and the problem solving was so fun. We didnt quite escape the room in the hour but we had a blast none-the-less!

Big Sky Breakout offers some of the best fun in the city. The escape room was intelligently and playfully put together (still thinking about it today). I am just planning my next trrip (with Montaiigne) to win glory in overcoming the obstacles.

I live all the way in Nashville, TN (where we have TONS of escape games), and every time I travel to Missoula for work, I make a point of taking people with me to play a game at Big Sky Breakout. Went in for a late evening game with my boyfriend and had an absolute blast. The staff are amazingly friendly, and have poured their hearts into the room, and you can tell. I’ve done rooms from corporate chains and they didn’t compare to the quality of the game Big Sky provided. And they set their prices very fairly.

The intricacy of the room was great but my group felt we wouldnt have gotten anywhere without clues AND extra clues. Ive done a breakout room before but although it was hard, we were still able to figure things out without a ton of help. We did the Spy room and the clues seemed impossible to find on ones own. It was still fun though! The staff was awesome and the details in the room were incredible.

We had a family of 9 playing, ages 15-68 and we all had so much fun! Challenging but not too overwhelming. Everyone was able to work on the puzzle and provided an hour interactive entertainment for all. The owner is a great storyteller and very accommodating. We were able to successfully exit the room with minutes to spare. Thank you for an awesome family bonding time!

Really well done setup. Its a great combination of seeing how the minds of those you bring inside work, and one of the fastest hours of your lives. They do an excellent job assisting with both the official 3 hints you get and helpful smaller hints along the way.

Great team building activity! Our company did a weekday escape room and absolutely loved it! We filled all three rooms. Great for testing communication, team problem solving, and just good fun with the company.

My boyfriend and I came for a day time date while the kiddo was in school. We did the magician room and thought it was a ton of fun and we were pleasantly surprised that we finished with 3+ mins to spare! The people working here are very friendly and helpful. 5/5 would recommend to anyone!
